Fake News is een begrip geworden in de berichtgeving van vandaag de dag. We gaan hier dieper op in door te focussen op de moord op de Palestijnse journaliste Shireen Abu Akleh. Journalisten die kritisch zijn voor de bezetting worden al lange tijd geviseerd. Met sprekers uit de journalistiek, de Noord-Zuidbeweging en uit Palestina belooft het een interessante avond te worden met diverse invalshoeken. Beste, Goed nieuws: er komt een extra voorstelling van het intieme vertelconcert 'Morris' (8+), waarin Martine Tanghe een verhaal van Bart Moeyaert voorleest. Sinds die uitverkochte kindervoorstelling op onze seizoensopening in september mochten we trouwens al 14.000 bezoekers verwelkomen. Bovendien kreeg onze Concertzaal de Erfgoedprijs van de provincie Oost-Vlaanderen. Die appreciatie doet goed! Ook december wordt mooi in De Bijloke. Ontdek hier waarom violiste Elisabeth Klinck uitkijkt naar ons prettig gestoorde ontdekkingsfestival voor nieuwe muziek Ear To The Ground nu zaterdag 3 december. Of kom volop genieten van een groots vioolconcerto, Bachs 'Wohltemperierte Klavier', Saint-Saëns' 'Carnaval des animaux' en veel meer. Tot gauw!
