(en) Brazil, popular mobilizations in Rio de Janeiro

These past weeks have been filled with acts and manifestations. In the context of strike
education and drives the so-called People's Summit, many social movements and political
organizations came out to the street to demonstrate their anger against government and
capitalism "green." ---- In this context, we at FARJ, Anarchist organization member of the
Coordination Brazilian (CAB), contributed humbly with our membership in the streets,
adding the different social movements and political organizations. Were present with
greater or lesser extent in the demonstrations of educational workers (Federal and state),
against evictions and removals (and the farce of the Rio + 20), in Via Campesina occupied
the space of CNA at the Rio + 20, and finally, in the great act of summit of the people,
which gathered some 50,000 workers / the center of Rio de January.

Together with the social movements that are active (Workers' Movement
For the unemployed Base, Center for Culture and Social Workers' Movement
Landless) and political trend Organization People believe that only
popular struggle and self-organization of the class in the factories, neighborhoods,
peripheries, fields and streets can ensure the process of rupture and revolution
social. This requires breaking the bureaucratic logic of the ballot boxes and
mandates, as well as strengthening the role of popular opposition to the reformist
performance of political parties and forces that try to "reform" capitalism.

The green capitalism is a hoax fabricated by the same people who oppress us
daily. A new model depends on the energy production and popular control
the means of production, land and energy stocks. Agricultural production in
harmony with the environment involves the struggle against the occupation in the lands
landowners and agribusiness.

We believe that direct action on the streets and in the field should be strengthened
daily basis with the work of militants in places of residence, study and
work of all the oppressed.

Building a people is a strong need for all / the the / the oppressed / them!
