"This could only be the stuff of a man, white and middle class ..." - "That is the extent of your dick" ... These two sentences are symbolic that lately we have heard in conversations, discussions, dialogues in different environments and different contexts. ---- We can not deny that said aggressively or not, the process reveal a little of the history of relations of domination we experience and brings out something muitxs preocupadxs because they are not internalized these values ??in their being thus considered "natural". These phrases tend to move in our buildings like humans, mainly naquelxs immersed in their stereotyped characters. --- While back a second of reflection and cause malaise that which we seek in our comfort zone to something we can justify or deny such jargon appealing and provocative. In most cases, people inside labeling and accepts feel provocadxs built to react, returning also other pre-set jargon, losing a precious and healthy exchange ideas. Maybe it's the tone in which it is done responding to an offense directly or Masked leading to the use of set phrases and adjectives, but the fact is that the express them change the tenor of the conversation / dialogue / discussion or whatever it is. The adjectives in most conversations, is used as a resource to lack of discursive arguments are used to thrill envolvidxs xs, xs in which many cases are desestruturadxs appealing and enter the process in question repaying the adjectives. Many actually contains a real sense of no other assignment, are only illustrative and decorative pieces of missing argumentative, very recurrent eg speeches on "the great macho ":" Fulanx is this, what is Sicranx, elx is green with polka dots, the clothes look daquelx * # @ & ". The emotional appeal that produce adjectives can not be discarded and if used well, it tends to cause reactions ranging from reflection to an explosion of irrationality and this is very common in sexist discourse. The use of this resource in reverse is interesting and if properly used to serve the growing struggle for emancipation of todxs. If we want more people to listen to us, we have to scream loud and tone, but if we abuse the resources of adjectives without any content justifiable, we isolate ourselves instead of expanding our struggle. If we still have to understand that the adjectives people vinculadxs given label is an exercise in patience because whoever has an opinion formed in prejudices transmitted by an oppressive society, fixed by Family and supported by religions and states hardly understand the context an adjective without a supplementary argument, unless as an offense at best and a compliment at worst.
