The parliamentary elections in September were presented as a success at the end of the student movement that began in February 2012. But let us beware of false pretenses. The strike ended in Quebec. The elections were won by the Parti Qu?b?cois (PQ) saw the defeat of the Liberal PLQ formerly in power. The student movement would have found its natural extension in the polls. The new Prime Minister of Quebec, Pauline Marois, repeated ad nauseam that the increase in fees was abolished. In fact, as pointed out in the libertarian communist Union (UCL) [ 1 ]], the costs have increased steadily since 2007. That year, the costs amounted to 1668 Canadian dollars. Today, they reach 2168 dollars, an increase of about 30% in five years! The First Minister has reverses the recent decisions taken by the previous government of Quebec. Pauline Marois, but was careful not to go further. Instead, it has openly declared its hostility to free education. The project PQ? Indexing tuition inflation. All the applause of L?o Bureau-Blouin, former president of the Quebec Federation of College Students, in the meantime became parliamentary assistant to files of youth. The scheme is coarse: under the guise of a project apparently milder, the PQ is in fact seeking to impose higher tuition fees, in defiance of the strike last spring. The image of a victory "democratic" students obtained through the electoral process, not an illusion. In truth, it is indeed the specter of a looming social decline. In this context, it is more important than ever to defend free education for all and for all. But with the political reaction, the response can not be organized without the mobilization of the street, in the continuity of the "spring maple." Hence the need to recognize the right to strike students, as demanded by the Union libertarian communist, and developing a radical unionism, away from the central bureaucracy.
