The first anarcho-syndicalist conference of the Balkans, took place over the weekend of 6 and 7 April in Belgrade organized by fellow Serbs. Participants companions Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia, it was not possible, at the last minute, attend the companions of Slovenia, Greece, Romania and Turkey, but sent greetings to the Conference. Was this also a delegate of the Secretariat of the International Association of workers (Ait). ---- The conference began with a brief introduction by the participating organizations and groups, who presented the activities of their organizations and the political context in which they operate. This was the basis for the discussions that followed and which focused on themes such as coorden??o regional labor movement and the prospects of revolutionary syndicalism, the student struggles, the anarcho-syndicalist response to nationalism, racism and fascism in the region, issues with liberalism and reformism in labor movements and models for face, issues on security and strengthening the infrastructure of the movement in the region. There was also the presentation of the AIT and there was still a debate about the practical struggles in workplaces. Conference participants concluded the initiative that lasted two days participating in a demonstration organized by the Anarcho-Syndicalist Initiative (Serbia) against the Serbian Ministry of Labour - against the new law to strike, layoffs and unemployment.
