France, Alternative Libertaire AL - Friends of our enemies ANI (fr)

The attack against workers' rights and workers increasingly accelerated with the signing 
in January of the national agreement (ANI) between employers and three minority unions 
(CFDT, CGC, CFTC). This text advocates unraveling proper form of the Labour Code: 
acceleration of redundancy procedures, limitation of remedies available to employee-es, 
legalization of "blackmail employment" derogatory generalization contracts (CDI 
intermittent) ... we believe the program read the MEDEF. And the government says 
"socialist" means transpose it into law, receiving a logical encouragement from the UMP 
and management: the bill will pass the Assembly on April 9 and April 17 in the Senate, in 
order to be applied in early May.

In the current context, where the economic crisis is brandished at every turn to require 
layoffs by employers and their watchdogs and media policies, we can expect an acceleration 
of social plans if the bill passes. Some bosses are already anticipating their victories 
at Renault, 7500 job cuts were announced in early March (with the approval of the CGC, 
CFDT and FO), while Goodyear plans to close the plant Amiens North, which employs 1,200 
employee-es, and PSA wants to spend his social force despite 10 weeks of strikes and legal 
initiatives.

Again, the question of the construction of a comprehensive response is more relevant than 
ever for the labor movement. We can no longer fight each in his corner, his back to the 
wall, or expect to spend between drops, while employers advance in ranks, with the support 
of Holland and his clique. The events of March 5, the call of the CGT, FO, Solidarity and 
the FSU were an encouraging first step. The new leadership of the confederation CGT 
announced a new day of action against the agreement in early April ... while reaffirming 
its strategy unionism "together" with the CFDT and describing the divergence of the ANI 
"minor".

For his part, called Alternative libertarian all employee-es, the public and private 
sectors, to mobilize the most massive possible against ANI. It is more necessary than ever 
for teams and combative union collective struggle (Licenci'elles, collective veto Works 
Councils ...) gather beyond labels, to combat this agreement. Finally, slogans imposing a 
different logic and suggesting another project company should be in discussion to build 
strength, such as the right of veto on workers' layoffs, requisition / self-management 
companies close, wage increases and the transition to 32h without intensification of work 
and corresponding recruitment.
