egalitarian facade ... A brief overview of masculinist ideologies. ---- Some masculinist 
groups arise as groups of awareness and reflection. They attempt to define themselves as 
masculinist "progressive." Thus the site Hom-info, we learn that the masculinist current 
Quebec is a movement of " awareness of the effects on men of stereotypes associated with 
masculinity . " Fight against sexism, not nice? Yet a little later we read that " 
feminists have hard tested the foundations of what masculinity ": women, these are the 
real culprits! ---- Masculinism "egalitarian", and would be the male counterpart of 
feminism. Thus, the blog "Vision egalitarian lucid-masculinism," we read that " 
masculinism does not mean anti-feminist, it means complementary to feminism: feminism 
masculinism needs to be fair and equal.

denying the reality of violence against women or the existence of wage inequality. Wage
differences come from the fact that women work less. Similarly it would be the women that 
prevent men from taking part in domestic work in wanting to have all the space in your 
home AND compete with men in the labor market.

Found in these ideologies the same insidious masculinist rhetoric that seeks to address
the rights of women, but not head-on: it falsely claims that men and women are much 
sexism, or even a reversal of the inequality is carried out, which leads to guilt while
victimizing women and disempowering men ... The political conclusion is clear: we must 
restore "equality" and thus deconstruct female privileges!

Faced with such concealment strategies, each and everyone must remain vigilant and not be 
lulled by pseudo-egalitarian discourse that must be exposed for what they are: reactionary 
ideas, social and anti-feminist. And this is all the more urgent that these ideas foul 
plague to the community where we libertarian activists, feminists are often accused of 
blaming our male counterparts when they have sexist attitudes, or reproduce the logic of 
exclusion when we boast an "inter-self" necessary for our emancipation.
