For several years, the extreme right is trying to make Lyon a laboratory. She opens local, 
multiply attacks against the social movement or immigrant-es and parade through the

"laboratory of the extreme right," Lyon is true for many years his reputation. Common 
assault, vandalism activists places, regular events ... The fascist thugs, more or less 
organized, behave as conquered territory, and this is not recent news that will prove them 
wrong. Taking advantage of the current environment, amid social and economic crisis, 
homophobia displayed, and surfing the media demos for all, the extreme right is unleashed 
and finds a willing coverage in the local and national media.

There are dozens of articles published in the press and deal with the extreme right Lyon 
complacency while providing media coverage. For several months, not a week goes by without 
the nationalist Alexander Gabriac youths, the Union Defence Group (Gud) or Generation 
identity, do not talk about them. Even frigid Looney is not homophobic enough for them 
since May 5, ultranationalist activists Gud have excluded the procession. Since 2010 
thirty-three physical assaults took place in Lyon from the fascists, who led four hundred 
days of temporary work stoppage.

In response, the organization of an efficient and organized struggling to implement 
coherent response, hampered in its efforts by police repression. Thus, on May 9 
commemoration day for one of their "martyrs" Gud Youth and nationalists have done two 
rallies without any concern by the police while the police arrested twenty-five comrades 
participant-organized rally against the fascists, even before they could scroll. Be 
antifascist Lyon becomes a crime, and the socialist state is a perverse pleasure in back

the struggle of Lyon as a "gang war" between two rival factions.

Unit response

Large gatherings, such as in February calling for the closure of the local fascist

collective responses among members of anarchist organizations or ideologically close to
