(en) Palestine-Israel, Ten years of a persistent joint struggle educate Israeli social struggle activists*

On February 1968 The antiauthoritarian anticapitalist Matzpen initiated in Jerusalem the 
first (18 strong) vigil again 1967 occupation. Two years later, the Israeli Black Panthers 
activist who were in intimate contact with Matzpen members (mostly in Jerusalem) initiated 
the first social struggle of immigrants from eastern countries. Many of the present social 
struggle activists regards themselves as successors of the Panthers - many others were in 
association with or participated in the joint struggle of the anarchists against the wall. 
The 2013 wave is still much smaller than the 2011 wave of struggle but is more radical and 
confrontational. The joint popular struggle in the occupied Palestinian west bank is still 
fluctuating - mainly because the holding back of the Palestinian authority.

Bil'in

These last few Fridays in Bil'in

Over the last month or so, things have been escalating in Bil'in. Until a few weeks ago, 
two soldiers teams made to play sitting ducks over the wall in few points were the only
reachable targets for the few shabab, who joined the non armed demonstration or preceding 
it a bit. The soldiers shot gas at demonstrators from behind the wall - some times in 
response to the thrown stones, some times even before the first stone was thrown. But for 
the last month or so, possibly due to an Israeli campaign to escalate the violence (using 
media outreach, lobbying and counter-demos), the army has been crossing the wall to chase 
demonstrators away, leading to more violent confrontations. Since the gas is usually 
enough to get most demonstrators to back off, it eventually continue with a prolonged 
confrontation of a dozen of shabab trying to stone away a dozen or so heavily armed soldiers.

This week, instead of waiting for us behind the wall, the soldiers had already been 
stationed half way between the wall and the built area of the village. The road that the 
demonstrators usually take was blocked, so they took a detour to reach the gate from 
another path despite fierce gas and bullet showers. One demonstrator was arrested when he 
helped a few internationals maneuver through the clouds gas. The demonstrator told the 
group to cross the route where the soldiers were stationed, and one of the policemen, who 
does not understand Arabic, decided that he was ordering them to throw stones. The 
demonstrator was released when the demo was over. In the meantime, soldiers kept pushing 
in, spraying rubber bullets at the shabab who were trying to make them turn back. That 
none of the bullets hit their target was a pure "accident".

Ladies and Gentlemen, Fighters for Freedom
In the beginning,
In my behalf and on behalf of Popular Resistance Movement, and on behalf of the people of 
Nabi Saleh village , and on behalf of the Palestinian people, I would like to thank you
for coming here today , this Friday , and every Friday , to be ambassadors of right and
justice and humanity, and continue to support our village and our people against 
terrorism, which we are exposed by the Israeli Army and the Israeli government, and 
because you are always our partners in the field of resistance, despite all the Israeli
inconveniences .

In addition to our protest on the occupation in its general form, and on the settlement, 
and the injustice, but today we are also here revolt, against all racist and terrorist 
laws , which are manufactured by Extremist government in Israel ? We see in all the new

and to destruction of our identity, and to theft of our land and our rights, so we revolt

Be'er Sheva

Stopping the Prawer Bill!

Pulling Red Card to UEFA under21

Israelis pull a red card for apartheid and calling to boycott UEFA under 21 championship 
in Israel, for collaborating with apartheid and denial of the ongoing crime of ethnic 
cleansing against the Palestinian people. We did two actions in front of the games in 
Teddy Stadium Jerusalem, and Bloomfield Stadium in Jaffa

In.: "On Tuesday, several Israeli activists including myself, went to protest the UEFA21 
(football) championship taking place in Israel right now, and to call on UEFA and 
participating teams to show the red card to Israeli apartheid.
Each one of us drew their card for a different place, though this are but examples of the 
apartheid policies, for which Palestinians have called for the BDS campaign.
Mine was held for the people of Nabi Saleh."

Saturday night (21:00)

Converging at Shuster center - the neighborhood of the treasury minister and marching to 
his house

Hundreds of activists demonstrated yesterday against the privatization of natural gas. We 
blocking main roads and shout slogans in the neighborhood of the minister of finance's and 
in front of his house and blocked for a while the northern entrance of the city.

"About 500 people started marching from Schuster Ramat Aviv at the house of a torch, where 
they encountered a wall of policemen prevented them from approaching the minister's house. 
Ramat Aviv residents did not like the noise, booties and calls the protesters. At one 
point started throwing eggs at the demonstrators from their windows. "Stop crimp Sabbath" 
shouted from the windows. Other residents from their homes down the street and watched 
curiously demonstration."
