The country is being taken for mobilization in the fight for public transportation. Earlier this week, massive demonstrations took Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, S?o Paulo and dozens of other cities. Congress in Brasilia was occupied by protesters, as well as the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro. Until now, Porto Alegre, Goi?nia, Natal, Recife and other cities have already conquered the reduction of the tariff, but the prospect of victory is large in several other cities. ---- One of the factors that gave great strength to the demonstrations was the criminalization of protest and brutal response of the police. Hundreds of companions (the) were arrested and released after paying exorbitant bail, an attempt to silence and intimidate the popular claims. The violent police repression was the spark for a people in a state of powder keg, and demonstrations is becoming stronger. The reactionary sectors and mainstream media, which criminalized and harshly criticized the demonstrations, now kicking for the strength of the people in the streets. Their strategy has been very clear: they seek to "tame" the manifestations inert pacifism preaching a generic guidelines that do not allow concrete achievements. The people have not been sleeping until last week. None of our rights were given gift, were conquered. Capitalists profit from the commodification of social rights (health, education, transportation, etc..), And state and governments drive this state of things. Speeches by "a better country", "best use of taxes" or "corruption" miss the mark, because they ignore the nature of the capitalist state. Corruption is an integral part of this system, which has created laws to maintain dominance of the ruling classes. Who complains of breach of the rules of the game in the background, is legitimizing the game works: unfair not only corruption, but the entire capitalist system, based on the exploitation of the working class and oppression. We need to think our agendas and objectively fight against the problems experienced by people. Our solidarity is between the low. So we understand that we are not here to sing hymns and raise the flag of the country: nationalism is an instrument of reconciliation between the classes, which unites us with our enemies under the same banner (transport entrepreneurs and the mayor are also Brazilian and "corruption"). Florian?polis has a long history of struggle for transport such as Ratchet Riots of 2004 and 2005, when the popular struggle also won the overthrow of rate increases through direct action, with the people on the streets. The city has created a culture of claim on this agenda, culminating in the defense of Zero Tariff - model where public transportation is free, funded by the wealthiest sectors of society and popular control. The strength of the demonstrations around the country and the accumulation of the discussion about transportation in the city put the Zero Tariff as our strategic objective, a real possibility of winning. We are on the streets not only in the struggle for Zero Tariff, but also against the criminalization of popular claim, in solidarity with struggles in other cities! Day by day we will be building our organizational tools, and accumulating social force as violent is the system that excluded most of the population of the wealth produced; violent a system that even still abundant reserves the misery, hunger and scarcity for the poor; violent are depejos and police repression arising from the works of mega events like the World Cup and Olympics. Violent is the reality that the people is submitted! It is time to strengthen the organization of the oppressed, through our social movements, organizations of workers and students, community and cultural spaces. Only our joint, based on the independent class, which is able to create force to influence the direction of society. This is a requirement to have the ability to withstand the attacks of the ruling classes to receive and accumulate forces to turn the scales pro our side, progress on achievements towards classless society, freedom and justice. The possibilities and limits of demonstrations in the country are in dispute: it is time to go to the streets! Fighting, Create, People Power!
