France, Alternative Libertaire AL - Support the Turkish spring... and open revolutionary prospects in the Middle East (fr)

"Hi to all friends, here we are fighting on behalf of the revolutionaries of the world" On 
May 27 in Istanbul was held a protest against a plan to destroy the Gezi Park located on 
Taksim Square into a mall. This square is a symbol of the labor movement or annually meet 
the protesters on May 1. The Turkish government in addressing this square is deliberately 
attacked a symbol of popular resistance. ---- Turkey is still marked by the military coup 
of September 1980 and the terrible repression that followed. Even today, the country has 
more than ten thousand political prisoners. ---- The current Conservative government 
continues this logic has a breakneck pace: these days there are thousands of young trade 
unionists who are dragged es legal and sent hundreds-are in prison because of their activism.

The government of bigots is also driven by a boundless desire to impose his religious 
morality at all levels of society (building mosques in universities, destruction and 
attacks against places and cultural events). But morality does not prevent business, the 
government is the one that applies slavishly colonial recipes IMF: Economic liberalization 
on all levels to meet the objectives of the capitalists at the expense of the population.

That is why in the heart of many Turkish revolt this sounds like a rebirth.

The park has been occupied since March 2 protest. Clashes with the police are more 
violent, police will stop at nothing to nip in the bud a challenge that continues to 
radicalize and massify is threatening to turn into a real uprising against the regime. 
Indeed, the challenge continues to grow. More of demonstrators took to the streets while 
several unions called strikes. And despite a crackdown that has already killed two people 
and injured several thousand es.

Kurds, LGBT, Alevis, Muslims, non-Muslims, atheists ... the workers are trying to raise
Turkey. Resistance that began in Gezi Park Taksim Square in Istanbul is now spill over 
many other cities. It is continuing to join forces beyond differences that capitalists and 
their tyrannical servants will be defeated. The demonstrations in Istanbul and elsewhere 
show us a great example of convergence of struggles and unity of the social movement in
which all revolutionaries should take example.

We can hear in the streets of Istanbul slogans like: fa?izme Karsi omuz omuza / stand 
united against fascism, bizim Taksim, ?stanbul bizim / Taksim is ours, Istanbul is ours or 
drank daha Baslangic, m?cadeleye devam / It ' is just the beginning, the struggle continues.
