The protesters, about 50 the first time and more than 200 overnight, require the free pass 
for students and unemployed and the opening of accounts of companies that manage 
transportation. The chairman of the Board of Aldermen, Alderman Thiago Duarte (PDT), tried 
to continue with the activities normally in plenary session but stopped when protesters

According to the protesters, "this is a permanent occupation in repudiation of the 
councilors who voted in favor of business and against the people" - in reference to the

sandwiches, mineral water, milk, fruit and crackers. For now, there is enough food for all 
protesters to stay overnight at the site, but on the morning of Thursday - at a meeting, 
the activists present decided to stay in place - new food will be needed. Fruits like 
apple, banana and bergamot, mineral water bottles, packages of bread and instant coffee 
can be delivered in the occupation. Cleaning products, paper towels and garbage bags are 
also requested.
