We are a group of two academics and a film maker doing research and a doc film on refugees and migrants in Italy and on the consequences of the Italian/European 'reception' system. We have already done work in South Italy and we would like to document the effects of the recent Italian refugee program known as the North Africa Emergency. We hope we can talk to someone from the group 'Lampedusa in Hamburg' and to make their story and claims for rights known, also outside Italy.
