The long process of destruction of Higher Education continues with a new law, the law 
Fioraso. Solidarity-Student Account es take the path of struggle, never desert the field 
work, or convergence with other sectors fighting for social transformation. ---- The 
university was a public good, which disappeared in 2007 with the Law on Freedoms and 
Responsibilities of Universities (LRU). Since then, the lack of resources - typical 
pandemic of former public services - has consequences deletions training (Department of

make higher education a relatively welcoming space. The fiscal autonomy of institutions,

New law, same fight!

On 9 July 2013, the law was passed Fioraso. It does not attempt to reverse the trend, as 
it comes complete that the 2007 law began. It is part of the same political project, which 
sets higher education in its operation and in its objectives, standards of profitability 
and competition.

Faced with this situation, the struggle unionism is not intended to "compensate" the 
consequences of the disaster, to do the work that universities are no longer able to do by 
agreeing to see subcontract part of the work Home of Students. It aims instead to 
transform higher education in order to be truly popular, that is to say, able to 
accommodate all students, regardless of their social background, their previous 
educational attainment, their nationality and status Prefecture, disability ... And 
promotes a critical approach of the university: the one weapon the student intellectual 
tools and practices relevant to their lives, including work in a time and a protected 
place that allow experimentation and research.

Convergence of struggles?

At the start, Student Solidarity-es will continue this work, while fighting 
against-pension reform. To build the fight on both fronts, linked as it is in both our 
social achievements, he gave specific objectives: maintain tables with the necessary
