A call to the initiative of researchers and social scientists has been launched in order 
to restore their respective disciplines a prominent place in the public debate. "Free 
field of the social sciences" and represents another effort to be the " collective 
intellectual "designed by Pierre Bourdieu after the strikes of 1995. ---- Scientists 
engaged in this adventure-es-es are animated by the desire to restore citizens the results 
of their investigations to criticize the speech justifying the rule. It therefore will not 
sacrifice scientific rigor to the political cause but rather to reaffirm the fundamental 
emancipatory nature of science. ---- Between calls to put the economic and political 
steps, the (social) sciences suffer from being hostage to the neoliberal order, which the 
program is that of the gradual dismantling of social achievements, which include just the 
transmission of skills. Sociologists and historians-not-s, ethnologists and 
anthropologists, political scientists and economists ask first the foundation for an 
analysis of major contemporary forms of domination. They then propose to reflect on the 
conditions determining the weakening of the social sciences in the public space.
