Friday, December 20, 2013, the Spanish reactionary government led by Rajoy, adopted a bill 
to abolish altogether the right of women to freely decide to terminate their pregnancies. 
Now abortion is a crime except in cases of rape (having been the subject of a complaint) 
and "physical or psychological harm" to the woman, danger and will be evaluated by two 
different doctors and foreign property practicing abortion. ---- This decision marks a 
significant setback for women's rights in Spain. It marks a new stage in the patriarchal 
and reactionary offensive in a country of Europe, s' progressively attack all the 
conquests of the emancipation of oppressed movements, the feminist movement. An offensive 
in which the 'state s' based on religious institutions, which play then the role of 
political catalyst.

The Catholic Church Spanish has played a leading role in the anti-abortion campaign that 
led to the law Rajoy. Other institutions religious are not left in Europe and around the 
world . The religious ideology supports the patriarchal order and presented as a "divine 
will." Whether Jewish, Buddhist, Islamic or Christian, we should not forget that religion 
considers the fetus as a living being, and if it is very pregnante in the country, it will 
lead the ' state to ban abortion or put him almost insurmountable barriers. The 
consequences are dramatic for women in countries where religion is very influential. For 
example: in Israel, abortion is allowed in case of danger to the mother or in cases of 
fetal risk of deformation and approaches for women are discouraging, Sri lanka, abortion 
is prohibited, in Afghanistan, abortion is prohibited because it is considered a crime 
against humanity e t now in Spain, the right of women to control their body is totally 
denied.

There is a total ban or "only" obstacle to abortion, these laws have severe consequence 
that abortions are often performed clandestinely by unqualified persons and craft 
abortions are one of the biggest risks mortality for women.
In Spain, one such decision aims to strengthen male domination reaffirming the male 
control over sexuality and women's bodies. Strengthening the power of medical control, 
eliminating the possibility for minor to access abortion, limiting the possibilities of 
abortion, the law Rajoy calls into question the autonomy of women in decision-making on 
their bodies and their sexuality.

By the admission of these promoters, the attack against the rights of women is part of a 
commitment to patriarchal general offensive in Europe, supported by all the reactionary 
forces. This is a fundamental issue for all women in Europe , putting a halt to the offensive.

We must make every effort to live the international solidarity against this offensive: the 
struggle of women and the feminist Spanish against this wicked law must be supported more 
actively and as widely as possible throughout Europe and the world.
Coordination of Anarchist Groups affirms its solidarity with all those and all those who 
protesten t against this reactionary offensive and agrees to participate in this struggle, 
the issue is international in multiplying to the extent of its resources, efforts to 
strengthen the balance of power against the law Rajoy and his transcription projects in 
Europe.
