The book The little black book of big useless projects is part of a coordinated campaign by Action for the Environment (Association lobbying against-participatory) that enabled through a collection of 4,000 euros, the release of this book and a future website for even wider census of large and imposed unnecessary projects (GPII). Summary list of the co-written by 29 group affected by GPII mobilizations, the book does not question the relevance of the term. But it shows what conditions these struggles take on their protest potential, particularly in the introductory chapter - concise, practical and encrypted - which brings together the main arguments of opponents and opponents. ---- It complains that the concept of GPII effect politicization of the debate. Involving the obvious absurdity (excess and useless) and the embezzlement of public funds these projects represent, it opens the door to a critical "soft" based reformist demands: more democracy, public interest, unless opacity in public spending ... We almost forget the rest of the non-excessive "development" of the territory is not less unjust, taxed, and environmentally disastrous. However in practice, the strength of the most anti-GPII movement lies precisely in the joint they operate from their local struggles between one side concrete alternatives, and on the other hand a review systemic as capitalism as the seizure of power by states and their ideological blinders on growth. The environmentalist dimension is omnipresent in these struggles, advocating for the energy transition (sobriety, renewable energy, relocation) against these projects. They do not forget for as social inequality and destruction induced (inequalities and service access, territorial imbalance, gentrification ), questioning from there grabbing land and natural resources in the capitalist system. It appears that what matters is not so much to have a clear definition of GPII that make the movements that fight continue to converge ecology, radical and practical alternative dispute.
