Based on a true story, this film tells that national newspapers call "blunder" and fall into the category of "news items." Starting from the gunshot murder of a young black American in 2009, shot by police on the platform of a subway station, Ryan Coogler endeavored to make us live the last twenty-four hours of this young father family. Petty criminal, ex-con, infidel, but also attentive father family, here are a few lines in the portrait he paints of Oscar Grant, played by Michael B. Jordan. ---- The sequence of events filmed with a mobile camera puts us at the heart of the action to the fatal outcome. This effective film that plays on the viewer's empathy carried over from close to long waiting time in the hospital concerned is a useful reminder of the ordinary, everyday violence of the police, especially against minorities. The police officer who fired the shot was sentenced to two years in prison. Aur?lien (AL Paris Sud) o Fruitvale Station , theatrical release in January 2014, American film Ryan Coogler.
