(en) France, Alternative Libertaire AL - Airport Notre-Dame-des-Landes: the struggle continues! (fr, pt)

The event on 22 February against airport Notre-Dame-des-Landes is an unprecedented 
success. With more than 50,000 demonstrators and protesters, against 10,000 in March 2012, 
65 buses from all over France, over 500 tractors, a real show of force. ---- The 
prefecture of Loire-Atlantique played the card of provocation by refusing the course of 
the demonstration and barricading the city center, preventing access to the demonstrators. 
Repressive forces have deployed 4,000 police with disproportionate means: water cannons, 
helicopters, grenades .. ---- Coordination between es, including ACIPA, refused to condemn 
the "excesses", which is positive. The unity of the movement is maintained.

The horde of well-meaning journalists, reactionary politicians and opportunistic opponents 
screaming death on the violence perpetrated by the "radicals". Yet the list of injured es 
is long on the side of protesters (there are more than 50 injured, some of which are 
serious enough es).

The violence of the State to protect the interests of Vinci is far more destructive than a 
few damaged material goods that will soon be replaced.

Mobilization is not weakening. We loose nothing!
