Bring as many people as possible
Following the arrests of 15 May
Following the arrests of 15 May, more than 50 complaints have been gathered and are being examined by legal experts to choose the most effective method of lodging the complaint. The action planned in front of the Conseil Communal, firstly reported for 16 June, is finally cancelled, due to not having enough time to plan the next steps. In order to continue putting pressure on those politically responsible for the arrests and to support the demands above, a political demand to Yvan Mayeur will be made in the coming days:
§ His regret/apology in relation to the repression of the demonstration on the 15 May
§ That there will be a transparent inquiry with regular feedback
§ That administrative fines (known as SAC) will not be used against social movements
§ That the names of the people arrested on the 15 May will be deleted from the police files
Without a satisfactory response, we will take it to the federal level!
