France, Organisation Communiste Libertarie (OCL) - A new anti-capitalist and libertarian space about the Notre-Dame-des-Landes airport, on 5 and 6 July 2014 Forum (fr)

Last August was held in our very positively to Notre-Dame-des-Landes - in the annual Forum 
of the anti-airport Coordination - an anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian town. Indeed, 
throughout the weekend have been proposed in this space, by libertarian organizations and 
collectives ZAD and Nantes, eight debates (on the history of the struggle, repression, 
protests against large projects imposed unnecessary, nuclear ...), and several hundred 
people attended each. In addition, the press tables, canteen, and the tour made by 
zadistes on ZAD to interact with the living-es were clearly appreciated the initiatives. 
---- On the occasion of the annual gathering of the new Coordination against the airport - 
which will this time take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday, July 6 - and while the project 
was abandoned airport seems to emerge more clearly in horizon, it seems necessary to 
reaffirm the strength and visibility capitalist and libertarian expression in the 
struggle, but also and especially the mobilization will not stop the victory would be the 
abandonment of the airport project ... because it is obviously "his world" we also do not 
want. After the success of the event which was held in Nantes on February 22 - has 
gathered some 50 000 people in a festive mood and happily offensive that involved many 
components, including an anti-capitalist procession - it is to maintain pressure to wrest 
the government abandoning the airport project; and it is to think about tomorrow, that is 
to say as soon as the first victory has been achieved since then pose the question of what 
happens not only the land but also the inhabitants of the ZAD-es, who may find themselves 
suddenly well insulated es.

To discuss these issues, and more widely on the strategy of revolutionary struggles in 
such as the Notre-Dame-des-Landes, we had again this year organizing debates; but as, on 
the one hand, such questions (especially land and repression) agitate the wider 
anti-airport movement and, secondly, we do not have the same material resources in 2013 we 
think it preferable to participate in discussions that will take place both in the general 
framework of the Forum in the capital Convergences local committees.

We propose for our part in the anti-capitalist and libertarian space press tables 
throughout this weekend, without denying opportunities to discuss that may arise or those 
party together, of course ...
