Solidarity with Palestine!

In 1880, the Arabs of Palestine lived on almost all Palestinian territory and cultivated.
This area was bounded by the Jordan and the Mediterranean. Following the
Palestinian-Israeli wars of 1948, the Palestinians and Palestinian women called "Nakba" or
catastrophe, and the 6 Day War (1967), the Palestinians and the Palestinian were repulsed
in small ghettos band Gaza, West Bank, Israel or in refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria and
Jordan.

Gaza is now one of the most densely populated areas of the planet. 1.8 million Palestinian
men and pile up on a strip of land 45 km; of these, 75% are refugees. Since 2006, Israeli
occupation forces besieged enclave of Gaza, control its air and sea space, and all persons
and all items entering or leaving the territory. The residents of Gaza are denied every
day food, medicine and electricity (among others). According to the World Food Programme,
in 2009, 44.8% of Gazan were unemployed and 85% dependent on humanitarian aid to survive.

The settlements and the wall of shame
There 10 years now (July 9, 2004), the International Court of Justice (ICJ) made a
historical review by stating that "apartheid" [1] Israeli illegal. At the time, the Court
requested that the wall is destroyed, that Palestinian residents are compensated, and the
compliance of Israel be assured by the international community.
A decade later, the colonies were expanded, land was expropriated and the construction of
the wall continued with impunity. Once completed, the Wall will stretch over 800 km,
annexing some estimates, 46% of the West Bank. Already, the impact of the Wall has been
devastating, separating farmers from their land and farmers, workers of their jobs, the
students from their campuses and communities of people. [2]

The third such operation in 6 years
Israel is conducting a reprisal operation against the Palestinian people following the
murder of three young Israeli settlers. Since 12 June, the Israeli occupation forces
attacked villages in the West Bank and arrested more than 800 people. Last week, Israel
launched a massive assault against the Gaza Strip (1250 aerial attacks). To date
(18/07/20/4), 271 people were killed and more than 1,700 were injured, according to
Palestinian medical sources. According to the UN, 80% of the victims were civilians,
including many children.
Before these crimes against humanity, we can not remain silent .
The solution lies beyond a ceasefire or ending "apartheid" Israel.
