(en) UKRAINE/BOSNIA: Open letter from Bosnian anti-authoritarian movement to Ukrainian comrades

Dear comrades, Since the beginning of conflict on Maidan, you know that you have full 
support of Bosnian anti-authoritarian socialist movement. And it hadn?t changed, nor your 
fight was questioned in any moment. It has been log time since our last public support to 
struggle with anti-authoritarian groups and Ukrainian people, so many things changed and 
this time we speak in the name of Bosnian February Rebels. But not only ? majority of 
Bosnian people identify with Ukrainian people and understand struggle. ---- We know that 
this is very difficult situation and very difficult choice. Some comrades have became 
volunteers and went in ATO, others are fighting with different methods, other stayed at 
home simply confused with whole madness. We respect everyone?s choice of struggle and 
decision of each one of you to go to war or to stay at home. However, your choices led to 
major conflicts within the movement, not only in Eastern Europe, but wider. Ukraine?s 
situation might have been test, where fell many leftists who we considered as sincere 
companions.

But! We are at war! And as in every war, masks are falling between rebels, warriors and 
comrades. We must realize that antifascism and anarchism are words which can be used by 
anyone, so we have to pay attention on acts, not on speeches of people. Not every 
antifascist is really antifascist, and not every antifascist is our comrade.

This is the first wound of war, but we shall not die from it!

Many groups look only at one ? western - imperialism, don?t understand Ukrainian situation 
and believe tht world operates on principles of one imperialism, because such 
self-deception is needed for their cowardly hearts which can?t accept the fact that, for a 
free society based on solidarity, self-organisation and mutal aid, we have to fight on 
both sides of the front. So many antifa and left groups have decided to proudly wave with 
their pseudo anti-imperialism, along with Russian fascists and separatists, in attempt to 
mock struggle of ukrainian people against Russian imperialistic boot, distancing from 
anarchists and antifascists who participated on Maidan and claiming that they are nothing 
but fascists. They tried to isolate, disparage, banalise and softened struggle of 
anarchist comrades on Maidan and distance themselvs of such actions shoulder-to-shoulder 
with Russian fascists, Chetniks movement, Berkut, KGB and Orthodox Church. They swallowed 
successfully series of false claims by pro-Russian media and left their shit wherever they 
could. Who needs imperialists when we have ?comrades? like this?

Not all antifascists have right ideas, just as we all are not same people with same values.

We are at war! And in war, it?s normal that our ?friends? become our enemies.

You shouldn?t be ashamed of your struggle. Nor think that it?s devastating that ?movement? 
divided. War is never only against those in power and those in uniform. War is everywhere.

We will support your struggle against imperialist ambitions of the Kremlin, so-called 
?popular uprising? which has all elements of Log Revolution and sincere elements of 
Russian imperialism and fascism ? as long you are aware that your struggle isn?t struggle 
only against Russian imperialism, but against West imperialism as well. As long you refuse 
to support any party and imperialism from each side, and fight for independence ? real 
independence of indivisible Ukraine, free from every imperialism and oligarchy.

We?ll stand shoulder to shoulder with all fighters against both sides of imperialism!
