The Syrian refugees have stopped the hunger strike, the government has accepted some of their demands. Now they are being moved to some municipal shelters. More than 600 have already applied for asylum, although the authorities proceed only 10 asylum petitions per day (meaning it will take two months just for the Syrians protesting in Syntagma square).
For tomorrow Saturday there is a demo in support of the Syrian refugees[poster] in Athens and another demo at Paranesti detention center [poster].
