Transnational Action Day: Stop the War Against Migrants!
On the 6th of February 2015 in Tanger, Morocco, as well as in different 
european countries, people were gathering to give a sign against the 
murderous border politics of the EU. conmemoration events take place In 
London, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Madrid, Barcelona and Tanger to remember the 
15 people that have been killed by the spanish border police (Guardia 
Civil) exactly one year ago on the fence. For this reason more than 80 
people come together in Tanger to lament the deaths of their comrades, 
amongst them many migrants who survived the attack of the Guardia Civil.
"This is just the beginning!" says Franck, the first speaker, resolutely 
into the microfone. "White and Black people here in Morocco as well as 
in Europe organize common actions and say No! to a politic that 
generates/produces war."
"Morocco is a country at the fences, which keep people from practicing 
their right of freedom of movement", says Christian, "the inhuman
killing where people shoot on other people with teargas has to end."
5 people, who survived these teargas- and rubberbullet-attacks speak out 
about the inhuman reality.
A young man from Cameroun testifies what he experienced: "The evening 
before the atmosphere in the forest of Casiago was good, we were dancing 
and singing. A young man called his mother on the telephone. The next 
time he would call her from Spain, he said. Another man was talking to 
his wife on phone and spoke with his child. He told him that his father 
would arrive in Spain tomorrow, that he would sit in a comedor eating 
chicken."
"At three a clock in the morning we prayed together. At around Four a 
clock we were on the way to the border. We were many people, 300 persons 
in my group. The morrocan police was behind us. We arrived at the beach. 
Swimming we tried to reach the spanish enclave Ceuta.The Guardia Civil 
surrounded, blocked and shot on us. The first bullet, the second,third, 
it did not stop. Nobody could defend themself in this moment. Next to me 
there was a man with his face in the water and I asked myself at first 
how he could swimm like this. Like this. Then I realized that he was 
dead. More than one hundred deaths - they are hiding the truth. I want 
Europe to be concious of what is happening here", demands another 
witness.
The atmosphere is full of sadness but also full of determenation: "It 
feels good to know we are not alone!" says the young man from Cameroun 
and starts singing a selfcomposed song to commemorate the victims of 
this massacre. It is an emotional/moving moment.
The optimism predominates: "We are here to organize ourselves!". There 
is a vivid exchange of ideas. During the common lunch there are plenty 
of conversations and many contacts are shared.
Pictures of the border and the fences are exposed in the meeting room. 
In the evening a ceremony in commemoration of all the deaths at the 
borders takes place in the catholic church.
The migrants choir calms the tention of these events. At the end of the 
day, friends prepare delicious senegalese food.
Finally everybody says good-bye to eachother: Tired but full of hope.

Jornada de actividades transnacional: ¡Parad la guerra contra las 
personas migrantes!

El 6 de febrero de 2015 varios grupos de personas se reunieron tanto en 
Tánger (Marruecos) como en diferentes países europeos, para sentar 
precedente contra las asesinas políticas de aislamiento de la Unión 
Europea. En Londres, Berlín, Düsseldorf, Madrid, Barcelona y Tánger se 
celebraron diversos actos de conmemoración por las 15 personas que 
fueron asesinadas por la Guardia Civil española hace justo un año en la 
frontera entre España y Marruecos (Finideq-Ceuta).

En Tanger se han reunido por esta causa más de 80 personas, entre ellas 
numerosas personas migrantes que sobrevivieron al ataque de la Guardia 
Civil, para llevar luto conjuntamente por sus compañerxs fallecidxs.

'Esto solo es el principio', afirma con decisión Franck, el primer 
conferenciante. 'Blancos y Negros organizamos acciones colectivas aquí 
en Marruecos y en el resto de Europa para decir ¡Basta! a las políticas 
que generan guerras.'

'Marruecos impide a las personas en la valla a ejercer su derecho al 
libre movimiento', dice Christian. 'Las muertes inhumanas que se 
producen porque personas tiran gas lacrimógeno a otras personas ha de 
terminar.'

5 personas que han vivido este ataque con gas lacrimógeno y balas de 
goma expresan esta realidad inhumana.

Un joven camerunés cuenta su experiencia: 'la noche anterior el ambiente 
en el bosque de Casiago era relajado, bailamos y cantamos. Un chico 
llamó a su madre. La próxima vez que la llamaría sería desde España. Un 
hombre llamó a su mujer y habló con su hijo. Le dijo que su padre
llegaría a España al día siguiente. ¡Mañana mismo comerían juntxs en un 
comedor en Ceuta, pollo!'

'A las 3 de la mañana se rezó conjuntamente. Hacia las 4 estábamos de 
camino a la frontera. Éramos muchos, 300 personas en mi grupo. La 
policía marroquí iba detrás de nosotros. Así llegamos a la playa.‘ 
Intentaron llegar a nado a Ceuta. 'La Guardia Civil nos rodeó, nos 
bloqueó y disparó balas de goma.
Primera, segunda, tercera bala y no paraba. Nadie se podía defender en 
este momento. A mi lado había un hombre con la cabeza bajo el agua y en 
el primer momento me pregunté cómo podía nadar. Entonces me di cuenta de 
que estaba muerto. Más de cien muertos aunque quieran ocultar la verdad. 
Quiero que Europa sea consciente de lo que pasa aquí.' reivindica un 
testigo.

El ambiente es consternado pero también decidido: '¡Sienta bien no estar 
solo!', dice un joven camerunés y canta una canción compuesta por él 
mismo. Es un momento muy emotivo.

El optimismo prevalece. '¡Estamos aquí para organizarnos!' Hay mucho 
intercambio. Durante la comida hay conversaciones y se hacen contactos.
Hay una exposición de Fotos de la frontera y la valla en la sala de 
conferencia.
Por la noche se celebra una misa en la iglesia católica conmemorando a 
todas las personas muertas en las fronteras. El coro de lxs migrantes 
resulta tranquilizador después de la agitación del día.
La jornada acaba con una comida exquisita preparada por compañerxs 
senegaleses. Al final nos despedimos, cansadxs pero llenxs de esperanza.

Transnationaler Aktionstag: Stoppt den Krieg gegen Migrant_innen!

Am 6. Februar 2015 haben sich in Marokko, -Tanger, sowie in 
verschiedenen europäischen Ländern Menschen versammelt, um ein Zeichen 
gegen die mörderische Abschottungspolitik der EU zu setzen. In London, 
Berlin, Düsseldorf, Madrid, Barcelona und Tanger finden Aktionen in 
Gedenken an die 15 Personen ,die vor genau einem Jahr an der spanisch- 
marokkanischen Grenze (Finideq-Ceuta) von der spanischen Grenzpolizei 
(Guardia Civil) ermordet wurden, statt.

In Tanger kommen deswegen mehr als 80 Personen zusammen, darunter 
zahlreiche Migrant_innen, die die Atacke der Guardia Civil überlebt 
hatten, um gemeinsam um ihre verstorbenen Kamerad_innen zu trauern.

„Das ist nur der Anfang“, spricht Franck, der erste Redner, entschieden 
ins Mikrofon. „Weiße und Schwarze, hier in Marokko sowie in Europa 
organisieren gemeinsam Aktionen und sagen Nein! zur Politik, die Kriege 
produziert.“

„Marokko ist ein Land an den Zäunen, die die Menschen daran hindern, ihr 
Recht auf Bewegungsfreiheit wahrzunehmen“, sagt Christian. „Das inhumane 
Sterben, bei dem Menschen auf andere Menschen mit Tränengas schießen, 
muss beendet werden.“

5 Menschen die diese Tränengas- und Gummigeschossatacke erlebt haben 
bringen die inhumane Realität zum Ausdruck.

Ein junger Mann aus Kamerun berichtet das Erlebte: „Am Abend zuvor war 
die Stimmung im Wald von Casiago ausgelassen, es wurde getanzt und 
gesungen. Ein Junge rief seine Mutter an. Er werde sie das nächste Mal 
aus Spanien anrufen. Ein Mann rief seine Frau an und sprach mit seinem 
Kind. Er sagte ihm, dass sein Vater Morgen in Spanien ankommen werde. 
Morgen schon werden wir in Ceuta in einem comedor essen, Hühnchen!“

„Um 3 Uhr morgens wurden gemeinsame Gebete gesprochen. Gegen 4 Uhr waren 
wir auf dem Weg zur Grenze. Wir waren viele, 300 Personen in meiner 
Gruppe. Die marokkanische Polizei lief hinter uns. So kamen wir am 
Strand an. Schwimmend versuchten wir die spanische Enclave Ceuta zu 
erreichen. Die Guardia Civil hat uns umzingelt, blockiert und uns 
beschossen. Erste Kugel, Zweite, Dritte, es hörte nicht auf. Keiner 
konnte sich in diesem Moment verteidigen. Neben mir war ein Mann mit dem 
Kopf unter Wasser und ich fragte mich im ersten Moment, wie er so 
schwimmen konnte. Dann habe ich realisiert, dass er tot war. Mehr als 
hundert Tote, auch wenn sie die Wahrheit verschleiern. Ich möchte, dass 
Europa Bewusst wird, was hier passiert“, fordert ein weiterer 
Augenzeuge.

Die Stimmung ist voller Betroffenheit aber auch voller Entschlossenheit: 
„Es tut gut nicht allein zu sein!“ meint der junge Mann aus Kamerun und 
stimmt ein selbstkomponiertes Lied zum Gedenken an. Es ist ein 
bewegender Moment.

Der Optimismus überwiegt. „Wir sind hier um uns zu organisieren!“. Es 
herrscht ein reger Austausch. Während des gemeinsamen Mittagessens 
werden zahlreiche Gespräche geführt und Kontakte geknüpft.
Bilder von der Grenze und den Zäunen sind im Versammlungsraum 
ausgestellt.
Am Abend wird in der katholischen Kirche eine Messe in Gedenken an alle 
Toten der Grenze gehalten. Der Chor der Migranten wirkt beruhigend nach 
der Aufregung des ganzen Tages.
Zum krönenden Abschluss bereiten Freunde ein köstliches seneglesisches 
Gericht zu. Am Ende verabschieden sich alle voneinander: Müde aber 
hoffnungsvoll.
