Australia Sydney Anarchist Bookfair 2015

Sydney's second annual anarchist bookfair is taking place in June this year! As well as 
stalls representing a variety of radical publishers and grassroots activist groups, we'll 
also be hosting a number of inspiring speakers who'll explore topics like decolonisation, 
feminism, labour struggles, solidarity, ecology and resistance to state violence. ---- 
Sounds rad, right? But we can't do it without your help! We need funds to cover the cost 
of venue hire, promotion, and transport for out-of-town speakers. That's why we're asking 
the wider anarchist community to pitch in and help us raise some dosh. ---- The Sydney 
Anarchist Bookfair is more than just a book fair. Organised by Jura Books and Black Rose 
Social Centre, this free, one-day event is a chance to learn more about libertarian ideas 
and radical politics:

• Check out the dozens of stalls by zine producers, radical t-shirt designers and 
anarchist publishers.
• Get involved in local & national campaigns on everything from environmental 
sustainability to indigenous rights.
• Find out more about anarchist ideas from international and local speakers discussing 
everything from the Leard Forest blockade to Feminism in the Spanish Revolution.
• Taste some great local food while listening to local musicians and poets in the garden 
or get involved in yoga or feminist self-defence classes.
• Let your children express themselves over in the Kids Space. The whole family is welcome!
Entry to the bookfair is free (although donations are welcome!). The bookfair is a safer 
space, the venue is accessible, and free certified childcare will be available. For more
