Amidst all this turmoil, Greek deputy minister of Migrants Policy Tassia Christodoulopoulou submitted an amendment which abolishes the law criminalising the transport of migrants, two days ago.
According to the following report (in Greek), "this law was supposed to fight traffickers, but in practice penalised the refugees and citizens who tried to show their solidarity"
