Alternative Libertaire Congress held late in May, not far from the Pont du Gard. Between

of the organization, it is also a privileged moment where members of all local groups can 
meet, and the margin of discussions on Congress texts themselves, activists share 
experiences, projects, disillusionment - and strength red glasses.

The federal structure of the AL and the freedom of action of each local group that the 
activists of AL are not all cast in the same mold. And it is to find common ground and 
expression that serves congress.

Grapple the discussions that undermine the far left

The Congress discussed, besides the purely organizational issues, anti-racism, the 
antipatriarcat, ecology, but also the balance sheet and outlook for the longer term 
organization.

Regarding anti-racism, the conference tackled head-on the discussions that undermine the 
extreme left, especially around the term Islamophobia. Following the discussions, it 
emerged that first anti-racism must not contribute to essentialize groups on community 
foundations, but rather to unite workers of different colors and backgrounds struggling 
against the deadly poison that is racism.

Particular attention was given to the term Islamophobia, false nose of anti-Arab racism 
particularly popular from the extreme right. If this term describes a reality undeniably
