Thanks !  In September 2000, the opening a new jazz club in the centre of  Brussels seemed to be quite the challenge of a dreamer… Fifteen years and 3500 concerts later, thanks to you, guests,  members  we are still here, and well…! Let’s keep it going together for another decade, and help to make the blue flame of jazz blow in the best surroundings possible : a genuine Jazz Club ! TUESDAY 8 SEPTEMBER      FOCUS JAZZ Arnaud Guichard & Thomas Maasz Trio Arnaud Guichard (tenor sax), Thomas Maasz (piano), Yussif Barakat (bass), Attila Gyarfas (drums)  The Belgian born saxophonist Arnaud Guichard and the pianist Thomas Maasz present their new quartet collaboration. The young Belgian jazz talents went to finish their music studies abroad fulfilling their  knowledge with vibrant inspiration.  Thomas has recently finished  a Masters degree in Amsterdam and Arnaud  is currently finishing his degree in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in  London. He rapidly became a regular in the young British jazz scene.Thomas and Arnaud share a unique melodic approach to jazz  giving an intense, personal and sensitive performance. The brilliant  Yussif Barakat on double bass and the incredible Attila Gyarfas on  drums will join them to offer you a delightful evening. TICKET : 7.50€ WEDNESDAY 9      TRIBUTE TO ASTOR                                    PIAZZOLLA Argentinian Tango Jazz Quartet Gustavo Firmenich (tenor sax & clarinet, lead) Gustavo Corrado  (piano), Federico Hilal (bass), Alejandro Beelmann (drums) Gustavo Firmenich,  the leader of this Argentinian band has relaunched in Buenos Aires  the Tango & Jazz, « Tipica& Jazz » concerts. He  founded the Tango Jazz Quartet, which rapidly conqueredArgentina.  Famous accordion jazz player Richard Galliano proposed to tour Europe in 2011.Since then they have played all over Europe in many Clubs  and Festivals.For this 4th European Tour, arriving from Buenos Aires  they are back for one evening at the Village.They were given a  standing ovation last time at the Club. Book early… TICKET : 13€ -15 € THURSDAY 10     BLUES   Shakedown Tim & The Rhythm Revue Tim Ielegems (vocals, guitar), Bart Stone (tenor & baritone sax),  King Norre (bass), Dennis Tubbs (drums) The sounds of a vintage fat body guitar, a lush saxophone, a killer  rhythm sectionand a big voice will bring you some low down blues,  some happy blues, sophisticated swing,wild Memphis style boogie woogie, full-throated juke joint stomp and you can save your soul with some sinners gospel. The music is straight up, down home  blues and uptown boogie woogie. Come and feel the blues in your bones... TICKET : 13-15€ FRIDAY 11    BELGIAN TOP LADY SINGER Natacha Wuyts & the Sabin Todorov Trio Natacha Wuyts (vocals), Sabin Todorov (piano), Victor Foulon (bass),  Jérôme Baudart (drums)    Some top jazz cats rocking the familiar classics from the Musicals. For a “cool”, joyful, evening dedicated to music, friendship and golden  melodies featuring Lady singer Natacha Wuyts who belongs to the  top professional Belgian vocalists of the new generation. And a top trio under the lead and delicate swing of Sabin Todorov. TICKET : 16-18€ SATURDAY 12  EXCEPTIONAL CONCERT Rey Cabrera Special Combo Rey Cabrera (leadsinger & tres), Frederik Lebeer (piano & vocals), Nelson Garzon (maracas, guiro, vocals),  Humberto Gonzalez (chorus  & baby-bass), Gilberto Quevedo (chorus & congas),  Alexandre  Herichon (France), trumpet A unique setting for this exceptionalCuban music concert. Cuban master Rey Cabrera is one of Cuba’s top popular musicians  and is regularly on tour in Europe,USA and Canada and a regular “ successful guest” at the Village since…a decade now. Six musicians from the 4 corners of the world for a colorful latin  concert, with a touch of jazz. TICKET : Member 16€ - Non Member 18€ PEDESTRIAN ZONE EXPANDS... The City of Brussels made a new circulation plan for the city centre, including the Rue des Pierres. No car, no delivery. Taxis and bikes  allowed. We advise you to use the public transports, or to park your  car at the INTERPARKING Grand Place, our longtime partner, or in any INTERPARKING parking around. From 6 pm to 1am, the fare is only 5€ for you. Ask your special reduction card at the reception desk of the Club.  These cards are available to ALL our visitors, not only the  Members, offered as an alternative to the new traffic regulation  implemented in the City centre.
