End Attacks on Free Expression in Turkey

Over the last several days, in the wake of the attempted coup, the Turkish government has purged the country's academic leaders, shutdown news outlets, and issued arrest warrants for dozens of journalists based on their alleged links to the Gülen Movement, which the Turkish government blames for the coup.

These actions are an affront to the Turkish Constitution and international law.

Please, stand with Human Rights Watch, PEN America, Amnesty International, and the Committee to Protect Journalists in demanding that the Turkish government end its attacks on free expression and release all those imprisoned for their words alone.
