This page provides important information for people on the move about their legal situation and state practices in the different countries of the so-called Balkan route. It supplements the w2eu guide: www.w2eu.info, which provides information about asylum procedures and the right to stay. The Balkan Route Info provides regularly updated information for people travelling and concentrates on transiting and border crossings in the Balkan countries.
The platform is a work in progress. Some countries are not yet worked on, as routes and state practices are changing. So far, it is only available in English, but the Arabic and the Farsi translations should be ready very soon.
