Thanks For Telling The White House Press Corps To Stand Up To Trump's Blacklist

Dear friends – Thanks for joining our campaign urging the White House Correspondents' Association to fight back against Donald Trump's war on the media. Because of your efforts, the journalists who cover the administration are finally starting to stand up to Trump's blacklist. Unfortunately, Trump's ongoing assault against a free press shows no signs of dying down. He and his loyalists have called the media the "enemy of the people." They continue denigrating and delegitimizing the news media while simultaneously building up an alternative media of extremists, sycophants, and propagandists (e.g., Infowars and Breitbart). Democracy needs journalism – and right now, journalism needs Media Matters. Nobody understands the right-wing forces that Trump needs in order to dismantle a free press better than Media Matters.
