This year anarchists celebrated May Day in Makassar, Indonesia by taking to the streets,
wheat pasting posters, distributing fliers and passing out information.

Le Pen eliminated, that's good. The problem is that Macron's anti-social policy will
continue to serve as a step to the NF. Fortunately, his government right-left patchwork
promises to be fragile, therefore vulnerable to social struggles. To us all to make him
barrage and to build a revolutionary alternative. ---- Emmanuel Macron will be president !
The candidate of the employers won over the fascist revamped Marine Le Pen. ---- For
left-wing voters, it is a meager relief (Le Pen is eliminated), immediately supplanted by
a frank frustration (Macron is elected). ---- For those who do not believe that
institutional policy can change anything, such as the Alternative Libertarian, this
election only reconfigures the modalities of the struggle.

Reasons to be angry

Let us recall some features of the program:

Tax cuts for the wealthy: a change in the tax on wealth to exempt "  thousands of
households now subject to the ISF  ".
Breakdown of public services: with the abolition of 120,000 jobs in hospitals, schools and
all public services, and 70,000 to 75,000 in local and regional authorities. Suffice to
say that the promise of classes to 12 pupils in the primary is false.
Casse du Code du travail: in line with the El Khomri law, with priority to company
agreements on branch agreements and the Labor Code.
Breakdown of social protection: with the reduction of social contributions, therefore of
health insurance benefits, unemployment and old age. Improving the protection of
self-employed workers is an eye-opener.
Penalizing unemployed and unemployed: by reducing their ability to say no to an employer.
Penalizing workers: removing the 35-hour weekly standard for young workers.
Reinforcement of repression: with the hiring of 10,000 additional policemen and gendarmes.
It is against all these announced attacks that we will have to resist.

Reasons to rejoice

Macron will pursue the neoliberal policy and social regression of his predecessors. But
unlike the bulldozer Sarkozy and the illusionist Holland, he cumulates handicaps:

Its electoral base is volatile, the candidate has only sold a jeunist image, dream and the
hollow formulas of "  neither right nor left  ." For those who drank his words with stars
in his eyes, disenchantment was going to be brutal ;
Its social base is very limited: it is seen in the middle classes of the traditional
bourgeoisie, despised in the popular classes, it will have for it only the Medef, traders
who hope for tax cuts, and the flashy cohort of start- Uppers, "  creative  " and other
thirsty business 2.0. It is narrow, in reality ;
It does not benefit from the label of the left which, too often, intimidates the social
and trade union movements. In militant circles, no one expects anything from the promoter
of the Macron and El Khomri laws. There will therefore be no state of grace ;
It is not sure to obtain a parliamentary majority in the legislative elections. Even if he
obtains it, it will be unstable - made up of defectors and unreliable neophytes. This
precipitates his claim to "  govern by ordinances  " since this requires the assent of
Parliament.
This power will be fragile, and this is good news for the social movement, the trade union
movement and, more broadly, for the "  left of the street  ": all those who do not expect
much from the ballot box and think that One obtains more by the struggle. We will be
blocking the policy of En marche dans la rue, in businesses and in neighborhoods.

Reasons to Engage

Against Macron, against Le Pen, against the right, but also against the neo-social
democracy that Melenchon seeks to invent, we affirm that unemployment, misery and the
ecological crisis will not be resolved without calling capitalism into question, That is
to say the private ownership of the means of production and exchange which forbids us the
real democratic choices.

Our enemy is not the "  system  ", a term that does not mean anything any more, since all
the politicians say they oppose them, from Dupont-Aignan to Macron via Le Pen and Fillon.
Our enemy has a name, much clearer but that, strangely, politicians avoid carefully: it is
capitalism. And, it is "  global  " or "  patriot  ".

We oppose it to socialist self-management, the only project capable of changing society
and life.

We have no idea whether police officers imagination in choosing the operation name Phoenix
should have a broader scope, but after another year and a half that has passed since the
publication of the last issue, we can say that the curse has included police and our
publishing period. We set a number, we burn up into ashes, and rise up again. However,
even this is not such a bad option, because if we strictly copying the ancient legend,
came out we once every five hundred years. ---- Issue of September 2015, largely devoted
to the ongoing police repression and the subsequent reactions. After a year and a half in
much brighter, but in many ways still do not. The lawsuit is still running, or after it
emerged that one of the lay judges is a former policeman ÚOOZ and publicly publishing
racist, who also has a case and punishment ahead clear, was canceled and will run again.
Given these facts aside other necessary reflection for later and focus attention on weekday.

During our editorial meetings crystallized práve theme of "anarchism of everyday life."

This letter is a response to The Oregonian May 5, 2017 editorial board opinion "Portland
Must be Done with Punk Fascists" applauding police action against Portland's May Day
parade and attempts to create a classic ‘good protester' versus ‘bad protester' wedge.
This letter to the editor response "Here's What Anarchists Really Want" was published in
The Oregonian on May 11, 2017. ---- The Oregonian asks: what do anarchists want? From my
own perspective, anarchists want a society free of racism, class exploitation, misogyny,
and ecological ruin. Anarchists want everyone to have access to free health care.
Anarchists want to live in a way that doesn't necessitate imperialist wars. Anarchists
want a society that doesn't change the climate. Clearly, this society does none of those
things, and therefore, anarchists want fundamental social change. We can debate about
tactics and strategy, but we need to be consistent in our uses of terms.  Fascists believe
in white supremacy, genocide, and an authoritarian state.  Anarchists are, in fact, the
opposite of fascists.  All those anarchists who died fighting fascists-in Spain in the
1930s and elsewhere-could attest to this. They gave their lives for their ideals.

The black bloc anarchists on May Day confronted a violent police attack on working
families when the police cancelled the parade permit and attacked innocent people using
tear gas, concussion grenades, and baton charges. It is fortunate that a section of the
march, those in the black bloc, was prepared for this heavy-handed over-reaction to some
thrown Pepsi cans. Our focus should be on the police's violence. The Oregonian's attempt
to deflect attention from the true brutality exhibited on May Day - that of the police -
is apparent.

Scene - place game of actors in the theater, separated by a curtain from the audience.
This is the first definition of the word scene, which gives Polish Language Dictionary,
perhaps the most obvious and first incoming thought people not involved in any way in the
freedom movement, squaterski, the activity of the anarchist or leftist. ---- However, in
the case of / in person this word in everyday use means the entire envelope cultural and
moral environments, which deposited its identity to a lesser or greater degree in music or
the broader culture scenowej. The genesis of this type of fusion culture is influenced by
Punk, hardcore punk or later, where the wave was reborn freedom movement on the Vistula,
and although sometimes becomes longer post-scenowym, cultural influences, or subcultural
are still significant.

The case, however, concerns making the scene once and use many significant passwords for
their own vested interests.

Unless the problem is that someone goes to concerts, where he sells T-shirts, badges, and
other gadgets. With so much happens that sometimes someone comes up with an idea that you
can do this with the release of kapitalistycznym- someone working for me. It comes in this
way in the symbolic head of worn-out shoes, takes over this role from all over the
"benefit of inventory" and although she likes to sing at a concert "kill his boss at work
God will surely forgive" feels quite well in this role.

Stairs begin at a time when our anti-system chief, wants as head of the screw a little
screw, it turns out that among fellow-workers (those who stand beside him at the scene of
the Saturday concert) are those for whom it is not only fun and above the relationship
with a friend cherish their dignity and say a resounding no. Besides the fact that this is
the only fellow workers believe, because the boss long ago realized that such
relationships be used to arm workers went on many issues.

He learned very well come into their roles under the guise of camaraderie and make
unfavorable solution for workers, but as an employee wants to resolve the matter with the
key camaraderie need not worry, the boss remember that this work, and he is to perform the
command.

At some point arises how obvious in this case, class conflict.

It turns out that a former colleague is no longer an activist and an exploiter, very well
understands the mechanisms pracownik- relationship "employer" we create two camps, the
first is the one for which this scene is cool clothes, expensive drink, Cossack tattoos,
veg food. With all its superficiality and no-reflexive consciousness without the effects
of the adoption of the reasons for its action.

And the second, which may also, to a lesser or greater extent has the same cultural
back-ground, but is aware that it is only the effect and not the cause of all other
activities and mechanisms of the movements listed in the first paragraph of the text.
The result of this polarization is the fact that when a conflict arises on the background
of employee-employer eg. A vegan pub (which happened more than once). The first group sees
the attempt to organize a coup in their favorite pub, where they have the best vegan
nodules in the town where go every Friday with colleagues, bring to life your veganism and
increase involvement in the struggle for the emancipation of animals, and thus also the
people (sic)

the second group sees the test of instrumental use of certain ideals, for maximum
reduction of labor costs and maximum tightening the screws already former comrades from
the scene, because sometimes even the head without seeing the meaning of such dualism
ceases to come to these concerts.

Worth noting is the fact that when a conflict on the same line is born somewhere else,
with the management any large company, who personally are distant, then there is no
problem to stand on the side of workers, because the boss is not someone's friend and
said, "that it really is a storm loafers, because they do not want to work, a total of all
these things which you heard that happening with us is not true." When I hear something
like that, it behooves even sympathize friend that someone wants to tear down what he
earned so hard.

As long as not all will be able to settle such conflicts through the prism of class, not a
peer, until the legitimacy of trade union activities in such places will be depreciated by
people claiming to be part of that scene, as long as we do not do the scene step forward
in the fight and any emancipation.

[Photos] After the dismissal of President Dilma Rousseff, the new president, Michel Temer,
launched a policy of social regression. The general strike of 28 April, marked by clashes,
was the first massive response to this challenge. A commentary by the Brazilian Anarchist
Coordination. ---- April 28, 2017 was of great importance for the class struggle in this
country. Resistance to the policies of fiscal adjustment and suppression of rights
(pensions, Labor Code ...) was felt in all the States and in thousands of Brazilian
cities. Work stoppages, picket lines, blockages of roads and highways with burning tires,
unit marches and clashes with the forces of repression set the tone. ---- Participants:
students, teachers, road, subway, metallurgy, health, cleaning, municipal, civil
construction, trade, Banks, postal workers, but also indigenous people, homeless workers,
people living in working-class neighborhoods and a range of other sectors that form the
basis of society.

The general strike has seen a significant participation of the workers' sectors in the
industrial region of the State of São Paulo, in Curitiba, Manaus and Belo Horizonte. In
its own way, every sector of the proletariat has helped to sow the seeds of struggle and
direct action.

The Military Brigade in Action

This day was not without confrontation. The military police of several states acted
violently, suppressing mobilization initiatives. This was the case in the State of São
Paulo, with the arrest of militants of the Workers Without a Roof Movement (MTST) ; In the
State of Rio de Janeiro, where repression was brutally waged on demonstrators opposite the
Legislative Assembly and elsewhere in the city center ; In the State of Rio Grande do Sul,
where the Military Brigade dispersed the bus depots and roads with tear gas, and where the
municipal guard of Porto Alegre assaulted the officers of the municipality who had locked
the building, Entry of the prefecture.

The Brazilian president, Michel Temer, spoke briefly at the end of the day. He criticized
the blocking of roads and said that the "  modernization  " of the country would continue,
disregarding yesterday's struggle. His Minister of Justice, Osmar Serraglio, went further
by claiming that the strike was a failure, and ignoring, like the mainstream media, the
scale of mobilization at the national level. These same media that continue to hammer the
need for reforms and lie openly about their content.

We know the limits of the trade union movement, the harmful role of the bureaucracies in
the disorganization of our class, but we rely on days like this to set us moving, to
experience solidarity and direct action, Seeds of a popular power.

Anarchists in Action

In the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso, São Paulo, Rio de
Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, Pernambuco and Ceará, organizations of the Brazilian
Anarchist Coordination Have played their part in the struggle and the direct initiative of
those from below, within each social front to which we have been able to participate.

The general strike of April 28, as we know, is not yet a response to the governments and
employers, given the current balance of power. But it has been an undeniable proof of the
power and capacity of the popular classes to put an end to the relentlessness of the
capitalists and their lackeys. It is through struggle and direct action that popular power
and rebellion are built !

For a  May 1 of memory, struggle and resistance ! Against austerity and repression,
struggle and organization !

Brazilian anarchist coordination, April 29, 2017

The Brazilian Anarchist Coordination is made up of a dozen organizations in the various
states of the country.
