And that's not all. Besides proudly taking photos and posting them online for all to see, he also shared photos of a defenseless cat being attacked and ripped apart by two of his dogs. He even uploaded a photo that shows an iguana being skinned alive. When she learned about Pérez's sickening acts of public cruelty, Care2 member Terry felt compelled to take action. Sign her petition demanding that the Mexican government take these attacks on animals seriously. Pass tougher animal protection laws — now! Local officials pledged that justice would be served. But nothing of the sort has happened. Right now, this man is still free to abuse animals as he pleases — and so are others like him. Animals do not have a voice. That's why it's up to people like us to speak up and protect them. Authorities MUST step in and impose tougher penalties on animal abusers to ensure that no dog, cat, iguana or other animal is ever treated this way again.
