With those who did not participate in the official call of the CUT and who, on the other
hand, feel the class commitment and the need to express our disagreement with the
institutionality, we met on Monday, May 1st at the corner of Alameda with Av. Brasil
around 10 in the morning. While the comrades and mates gathered there, several groups of
participants spread their manifestations through bands and self-managed leaflets, which
passed from hand to hand transmitting libertarian ideas that motivate us to continue
fighting and which, on this particular date, highlight the commemoration of the Anarchist
workers killed in May 1886 in Chicago, because of a demonstration in which they claimed
the 8-hour work day, ---- Once all the participating groups were assembled, we began the
march, shouting anti-patriotic and anarcho-syndicalist anti-statist slogans, surrounded by
participants and sympathizers of the classicist struggle, who independently integrated
themselves into this popular manifestation that circulated through the main artery of the
city towards Central Station.
During the course, it became clear that not all participants agree with the principles
that mobilize us, since some participants were accused of sexist and a little confusion
and discussion was set up, which made it clear that the heterosexist device still
permeates even some groupings Who define themselves as libertarians and revolutionaries.
The police force was present in a violent and arbitrary manner as usual, surrounding the
participants with their cars with toxic gases, firing on young people, boys and girls,
mothers and all those who participated peacefully A legitimate act, having to flee to
protect themselves. In this way the police attain their repressive aim, dissipating the
force of the march, as in the metaphor of an old political practice of dividing to weaken,
a mechanism used in ancient times to mitigate the power of a popular organization. At the
same time the media "report" on the riots and "violence" of the demonstrators. Again, the
mighty has in his hands the official truth,
Finally, the march lasted very little, leaving a feeling of dissatisfaction, due to the
short time of its duration and, mainly, because the fight continues being unequal. The
technical and repressive apparatus of the police force is far superior to that of the
demonstrators, there are moments when it seems like a children's game, with some stones
and graffiti before the weapons designed to repress used by the uniformed ones. It was a
small route, by a popular sector, far from elegant neighborhoods where the impact of the
demonstration might have obtained something beyond an unforgettable clamor within the
framework of a form of citizen participation hegemonized by institutional discourse.
The autonomous struggle to generate union, mutual support, self-management, with the
intention of improving working conditions and the general life of the working classes and
of all those who feel the oppression of heteropatriarchal power on their shoulders continues.
Finally, after the march, we invited all the companions to participate in an afternoon of
culture, conversation and meeting in the House of Libertarian Communism, where a series of
activities were developed, such as conversations, a community luncheon and Finally, the
book "The Shackles" was presented, which tells the story of a group of anarchist workers
who were subjugated by the law in the early twentieth century.

The theme of the summer issue of Existence is "We Need Utopias". In our opinion,
imagination is essential to any resistance against authority or struggle for a better
society. ---- The utopia as a literary genre dates back to the celebrated Thomas Moore's
work of the same name. It depicts imaginary societies around the world and in different
time periods. A large part of utopian works is based on a fixed and immutable order. We
are more interested in utopias that are characterised by freedom, openness and unforced
work. Therefore, we follow anti-authoritarian utopias and it is crucial for us to explain
why they are so important. ---- The present is characterised by neoliberal hegemony and
its claim that "there is no alternative". This motto kills dreams, offers consumerist
substitutes and announces the end of history. That is why it is so important to revive
slogans of the 1968 Paris revolt: "All Power to the Imagination" and "Be Realistic, Ask
the Impossible". Dreams and actions we build upon them have the power to push back
boundaries of the possible. A utopia of the past is the reality of the present. Anarchists
are not in the habit of making detailed plans for the future societies. Our movement is
based on the principles of freedom and equality. From them, we derive organisational
procedures, structures and approaches. A utopia is primarily an attempt to formulate
collective aspirations and desires, as well as it is a means of criticism of the present
oppression and inequality for the classics of utopian literature.
We have chosen three texts that may serve as a starting point for further debates and
ideas. Firstly, it is News from Nowhere (1890) by William Morris because of his notions of
liberated work and other concepts that influenced his work. Secondly, we take you to Latin
America where in 1914, in the midst of the Argentinian anarchist movement, Pierre Quiroule
published his utopian essay La ciudad anarquista americana. Thirdly, the paper on
Utopistics: Or, Historical Choices of the Twenty-first Century (1998) by sociologist
Immanuel Wallerstein brings us the latest views on the utopian thinking. In addition, we
have also included several comments from the works by Peter Kropotkin and text describing
the utopian genre in the ancient Greece.
Not far from Europe, people fight for a utopia. Kurdish militias are courageously facing
the Islamic State and, at the same time, they attempt to realise ideals of democratic
confederalism on the territories they protect. Democratic confederalism is discussed in an
interview with Ercan Ayboga by Janet Biehl.
The history of the anarchist movement is reflected in a thorough account of the
International Anarchist Congress of Amsterdam in 1907. A theoretical text by Vadim Damier
deals with a relationship between anarchism and nationalism. In an interview with Mikola
Dziadok, he discusses the current situation inside the anarchist movement, repressions and
resistance in Belarus. The interview is followed by an excerpt from his book "The Parallel
World in Colour" that covers the sentence to solitary confinement in Belarusian prisons.
The issue contains reviews of a new feminist zine Drzost, the latest A-kontra issue and
the book The Utopia of Rules by David Graeber. Last but not least, you may enjoy an
overview of local anarchist events that have taken place over the past three months.

The rebellion is not anarchism , Enrique Arenas, a printer of the "El Surco" sheet, said
almost a century ago. Today, one hundred years after such words, we continue to hold the
same: to be rebellious is not to be an anarchist. So why put the title Rebels in the
Magazine? ---- If we understand rebellion as a dissenting reaction to an act that seeks to
impose something on us, we can perfectly well say that rebellion is an innate
characteristic of the human being. Every human being before something that seeks to
oppress him reacts against attacking, is oppressing who tries to annoy him or simply
canceling the imposed oppression. Thus, we understand that there are different types of
rebellion: rebellion before a despot chief, rebellion before a husband who mistreats,
rebellion of a child before an order of his parents, rebellion of a detainee before the
police, and, to give a Example, we still have those that can take place in thought, word,
or take action. When this occurs, the interesting thing begins. If rebellion is
transformed into action, the worker annuls the boss, the woman defends herself against the
aggressions of her husband, The child screams at his parents and the detainee strikes the
police. But what of this instinctive action? You can just go around or turn into more

Police have banned all demonstrations in Fredrikstad on July 29. This decision comes after
a number of attempts by the police to divide those of us who have mobilized against the
Nordic Resistance (NMB) in recent months. We can not in good conscience obey this ban and
will continue to be collected in Fredrikstad. ---- The police gave in May terrorist group
The Nordic Resistance permission to spread hated his in Fredrikstad, under the slogan
'crush the homosexual lobby. " The license was granted despite the fact that the police
have plenty of both legal means and moral reasons to deny the Nazi demonstration. ---- The
response was not long in coming. After a short time was both a party and an anti-fascist
blockade initiatives in full swing. Both initiatives mobilized a wide range of interest
groups and unions.
We gather because we know that the space Nazis takes the place others lose. NMBS activity
has previously closed the Jewish Center and canceled one diversity parade. We gather
because we know that if the Nazis successfully held the first public march of twenty
years, this will be a demonstration of power that will open the doors for increased
activity and more victims of hate crimes. We gather because we know that the Nazis will
exist even after the 29th July and we want them to be the weakest possible. Police in
Fredrikstad does not seem to understand this.
Police behavior towards both us and the separate festival initiative has been mildly
reprehensible. Faced blockade initiative tried to intimidate police affiliates to withdraw
by calling them to blacken some of the organizations that dangerous.
These tactics have largely failed, for the reason that the wide gap police believe that
exist between the so-called "serious" and "extremist" activists simply do not exist.
Several organizations already cooperate in other areas. The organizational and personal
relationships we built through years of activism has made it difficult for the police to
divide us. We know each other too well. All initiatives taken in Fredrikstad is mobilized
wide. Everyone involved knows that any violence would hurt both the established
organizations that are dependent on the endorsement and legitimacy, and the radical
organizations that are dependent on the confidence for further cooperation. It is in other
words not in anyone's interests that it degenerates into violence. Our desire is to have a
blockade that everyone opposes Nazism, and who want the Nazis getting a clear message that
they are not wanted in Fredrikstad can attend. We believe that the police know.
So what about the folk festival initiative? Where is the Fredrikstad municipality in the
planning, and the goal is a festival where people gather and celebrate diversity. Our
blockade initiative is a civil disobedience action. It is in action nature that it does
not take place on police premises, but the police can not possibly have anything against a
folk festival?
Joda. Several of the organizers of the folk festival should have been summoned to meet
with the police one by one. There they will be sitting with three constables on the other
side of the table. During these meetings, the police allegedly tried to push the
organizers to cancel or postpone the folk festival. Organizers were presented to the
horror scenarios that police claimed that would be the organizer's responsibility if the
folk festival was held as planned. Fortunately also the organizers of the folk festival
held sway.
Now that fear-mongering has failed, the police resorted to coercion. Police have decided
that whether or not the Nazis to have spread hatred, so shall no others spread the love -
it is a total ban on demonstrations in Fredrikstad on July 29.
We believe that we are not any safer if we let the police subduing us and juxtapose us
with a Nazi terrorist group. That we stay at home on July 29 will be a victory for the
Nazis and good motivation to new attempts Nazi marches in the future.
We would of course wish that we had a police force that saw a difference between love and
hate. That does not equated those who work for diversity and equality and those working
for discrimination commit hate crimes. It has thus far not, but we will not let us stop.
The struggle for a free and diverse Fredrikstad is too important that we give ourselves.
See you in Fredrikstad on July 29!

The election had been a vast campaign of communication: from the monarchical staging to
the new president's " Colgate " smiles ; Of the promises of republican virtue to
those of renewal. Everything had the color of a reality television commercial and the
taste of a lukewarm beer.
A thousand promises to which no one believed. And the varnish did not take long to crack.
Here are the little things and the good old republican corruption. Here is the foul odor
of the lepenism coming from the mouth of the Minister of the Interior. The former
international allegiances and the imperialists' complacency. Nothing has changed in the
salons of the bourgeoisie: the election was only a necessary entertainment, the important
thing being that nothing really moves. The new communication was intended only to divert
attention from the real issues: the destruction of the Labor Code, the end of social
contributions or the 35 hours. It smeared with virtuous and moralist varnish the old
capitalist recipes.
But it was lost because an election had never raised such a wave of distrust among the
population. The government is marked by a strong illegitimacy reinforced by its
authoritarianism announced: the ordinances and the state of emergency. It is on this that
the embryos of mobilizations and resistances can count to develop. It smeared with

" Any bold attempt to bring about a major change in existing conditions, any noble vision
of new possibilities for the human race, were labeled as utopian."
The anarchist theatrical collectivity Hybris proposes resistance and the struggle against
alienation and decadence. We fight and create foci of action and solidarity. We oppose any
type of discrimination based on nationality, religion, race and sex. We are reluctant to
any exploitative, authoritarian or other relationship, proceeding, reproduced or imposed
and perpetuated by various mechanisms of state repression, directly or indirectly, and by
those who exercise it. They support all structures, squatters and collectivities that
operate in a horizontal, anti-hierarchical way, taking into account the principles of
solidarity and self-management, against sponsors, state subsidies and the European Union,
as well as economic interests whose End is the profit.
We believe that the reason for the existence of art is not to serve the elite nor to limit
itself to a closed cycle of "leftist" art fans. Rather, its primary goal is to give more
power and the impetus needed to overturn the perception of consciousness about the real
needs of the human being and society.
Theatrical discourse, being intimately linked to political discourse, can highlight
several current issues, subjecting the viewer to a process of connecting their properties
as a political being, worker, human being, as transmitter and receiver of art,
re-structuring The fragmented perception of society and the individual, as well as the
interrelationship between them.
We address all those who wish to fight together with us, to create things together with
us, within the framework of the multiple forms of art and action, in order to merge and
present the result of this project within the scope of the action and theatrical discourse.
" The strongest stronghold of Power is uniformity, the least deviation from it is the
greatest crime."
We declare ourselves criminals.

Anarchist Collective 26A's cafe in Kadiköy - Istanbul has been harressed by the riot
police again. The police, with the pretext of match security of an international
basketball tournement in Caferaga Sport Center, occupied the street of the Collective 26A
cafe. They tried to ask for tea. Naturally the murderers are never given anything in 26A
as usual. ---- Police get annoyed and called for the municipality police for increasing
the tension. They forced the municipality police "for anything to shut down the cafe".
---- The discussion which have been started because of not giving tea to police, have
ended with the threats of the police to take the volunteers into custody. ---- The threats
of the police have been aswered by the friends who insist on sitting in cafe, by the
neighbours who filmed with their cameras what has happened, by the friends and comrades
who come immidiately in 26A cafe to be in solidarity .
The murderers of the oppressed, will have nothing in our collective!

It smeared with
virtuous and moralist varnish the old capitalist recipes. But it was lost because an
