Last chance to help me keep my job

Dear friends – It meant so much to me to march in Rome's Pride parade. I'm a proud LGBT ally and firefighter, so I decided to march wearing my uniform. But now, I could lose my job because of it. The National Fire Corps claimed that I "shamed" my employers. But after thousands of All Out members spoke out, they’re starting to change their tune. Dear friends, My name is Costantino. I'm a firefighter living in Rome and a proud ally of the LGBT community. That's why last month, I was so excited to march in Rome's annual Pride parade in my firefighter uniform. But now, I could be fired because of it. A few weeks after the march, I got a letter from my employers accusing me of "shaming and ridiculing" my colleagues... Now I'm awaiting a disciplinary hearing where my "punishment" will be decided and I need your help. Will you sign my petition telling the Italian National Fire Corps that no one should be fired for standing up for equality? In so many other countries, firefighters, police officers, and other public service employees regularly march in Pride in their uniforms... and are often praised for it! Why am I so different? If I end up getting fired for this, it would be the first time it's happened in Italy's history. This is NOT the type of history I want to be making!
