The Indymedia Grenoble and Nantes websites received an ultimatum in the name of
anti-terrorism. It is an inadmissible infringement of the freedom to inform. ---- On
Thursday, 21 September, a message claiming the burning of a hangar of the gendarmerie of
Grenoble was published on the participative websites of information Indymedia Grenoble and
Indymedia Nantes. A few hours later, these two sites were contacted by a department of the
Ministry of the Interior, the Central Office for Combating Crime Related to Information
and Communication Technologies (OCLCTIC), which left them the "  choice  "To remove this
message from"  provocation to acts of terrorism or apologizing for such acts  " ; * leave
the message and be blocked and dereferenced. ---- Censor the message or be totally
censored, therefore. ---- Both platforms had to yield to the threat and withdrew the
message of demand, not without publishing in their turn protest communiqués [1].

With the absurdity of such a censorship: the message of claim has meanwhile been
reproduced and widely disseminated by "  mainstream media  " such as the Dauphiné Libéré
which they have not been disturbed, [2]Alternative Libertaire denounces the flagrant
interference with the freedom of information by the Ministry of the Interior.

Support Indymedia today is not to endorse the fire. It is a matter of refusing the
trivialization of the censorship currently imposed in France and in the rest of Europe.
Also struck recently were Indymedia Linksuten in Germany [3]and Catalan independence sites
[4], in the name of the "  fight against Islamist terrorism  ".

As Indymedia Grenoble and Nantes say: "  What affects us today is what can affect all
other media in the future  ."

At a juncture of structural crisis, in Spain, there are more and more Catalans who no
longer want to be part of this state: today, a country ruled by a corrupt party (The
Partido Popular or PP), with a government and a deep state that has not broken with
Francoism, of which the monarchy is the faithful representation of this continuity; and
this would be added to urbanistic ballots, bank bailouts, austerity policies, high
unemployment rates and a lack of guarantees and opportunities. All this is the image and
reality of the so-called Regime of '78; a political framework marked by a pact of silence
so that the crimes of the Franco regime did not come to light and were never prosecuted.
The remains of Franco were never cleared from the state institutions. It was the time
called "Transition" to a democracy that never came and a Constitution that many people
have not voted for. Some because we opposed at the time the political reform of Franco,
and others because of a mere question of age, since it has been four decades since then.

The continuous disgrace and disdain from the high hierarchies of the Spanish state
(Government, parliament and Judicature), to the rights historically claimed by the
Catalans, with the rejection and mutilation of the autonomy status, continuous sentences
of the constitutional court annulling laws of the Catalan parliament has been the
mutilation of the Catalan Equality Law, the Catalan Law against energy poverty, the right
to housing of the most vulnerable people and to avoid evictions, annulment of the Catalan
Anti-Fraud Act, continuous attacks by the judiciary and the central government against the
use of the Catalan language in public administrations and education. All this, accompanied
by the austerity measures (which the autonomous government applied to cheerfully, using
the excuse of the austerity measures being imposed by Madrid and Brussels), was feeding
the rise of what was called the Catalan disaffection with Spain. This "disaffection" led
to a process of citizen organization from the bases that spread territorially and
transversally between the different layers and social classes, leading to to multitudinous
citizen mobilizations.

Citizen mobilizations in recent years for the right to decide have dragged Catalan
politics towards positioning in favor of independence. This September, the Generalitat has
decided to advance positions towards the construction of a Catalan Republic by calling and
approving a referendum for the first of October. The reaction of the Spanish state did not
wait for long and launched its repressive machinery:

From fiscally blocking the accounts of the Generalitat , and de facto suspending Catalan
autonomy, leaving it without economic resources.
And police: sending the Gaurdia Civil to confiscate ballot papers and other material, for
1-O, arresting public officers, raiding government buildings and deploying almost all riot
police squads from across Spain, housing them in old facilities of the State which were in
disuse for years, hotels, and in two cruise ships that came to the port of Barcelona. With
these repressive actions, the Spanish State has turned a national issue into a civil
rights issue by trying to prevent the referendum about the independence of Catalonia at
all costs. This strong stance of the Spanish State towards Catalonia shows us its true
face: Spain is not a democratic country by prohibiting not only the right of
self-determination of peoples, but also the exercise of voting in popular consultations
and basic civil and political rights such as freedom of expression and information.

The citizens' response leaves us with a scenario of opportunities for the advance of
social movements and the activation of a new cycle of mobilizations at the start of this
political course with the possibility of opening a gap in the '78 regime. If the social
movements continue to escalate the conflicts, it is possible to break with this regime and
/ or the independence of Catalonia. For Embat , it is key to take advantage of this window
of opportunity to articulate the popular movement and to take this role not only in the
1-O issue and independence, but also in order to mark an agenda in the establishment of a
new political, economic, social and territorial, in matters such as labor / trade union,
housing / community, public services / remunicipalizaciones, environment, sovereignty ...
At the moment, the situation demands both quick answers in the immediate and future
actions after 1 -OR.

In the immediate:
To form, take part or encourage the Committees of Defense of the Referendum (CDR) that
have already been created in the towns and neighborhoods, and create them in case that in
some neighborhood or town do not already exist and there are people willing to do so.
Participate in the actions and mobilizations called from the ANC, unions, AAVV, etc.
Future actions:
In the notice of the general strike, we will have to count on the unions to guarantee
their legality and coverage to the workers who are going to carry it out. Also, the
possibility of the general strike materializing would depend on what happened on 1-O.
Meetings of various organizations of the popular movement to elaborate a new charter of
social rights and establish some lines on we want for the transition towards the Catalan
Republic in the issues and areas mentioned above. We also call on Spanish society to
mobilize in support of the Catalan people, because not only Catalonia but also the working
class in the rest of Spain, which share the same problems as the Catalan working class
(both immigrated as a native). In addition, the independence of Catalonia is one of the
key points to break with the '78 regime, since other possibilities such as to take over
the government by Podemos, is practically discarded because they have lost almost all of
their social base and their discourse is situated in a social-liberal profile, after
abandoning the abrupt rupture discourse of its beginnings.

Now more than ever, we need to articulate an organized response from the social movements
to put the daily problems of the working class on the table and to fight not only for the
rupture, but for social, economic and political advances and freedoms. For greater social
and economic democracy.

Facing Tuesday's general strike in Catalonia, CNT wants to show its satisfaction with the
response which thousands of workers have given throughout the day and across trades.
Popular mobilization responds again against the severe repression which Catalan society is
living. Worker's solidarity shows once again that it can do anything. ---- This isn't just
another call to action. We stand before an attack on rights and freedoms which deepens the
breach between the ruling class and us, the working class. State and Capital show their
teeth and they do it with a clear goal: shoring up their corrupt and totalitarian system.
A system which today we know can be made to stagger thanks to the great combative
mobilization. ---- This Tuesday's general strike in Catalonia is a giant's step towards
the social struggle to demolish this political and economic system. It's a transcending
conflict for anarcho-syndicalism: we don't fight to switch up flags but for a Social
Change in capital letters which allows us to recover the reigns of our lives and
everything they're taking away from us.

From CNT we show our absolute rejection towards the bureaucratic apparatuses which call
themselves unions and, once again, align themselves with the government and employers in
order to torpedo the general strike in Catalonia. This is nothing new. It reaffirms us in
our organizational model based on direct action and mutual aid. While CCOO and UGT
sabotage the worker's movement, thousands of people will take part in the numerous calls
to solidarity beyond any borders. For them is our recognition. For them is our fight in
workplaces and in the streets. For them is the CNT.

Against all States. For freedom. For social revolution!

The 6th annual March for Choice takes place September 30th in Dublin and once more we are
bringing together an anarchist bloc for the march - join us on the day. ---- It's going to
be an important march as the government have promised a referendum next year but have not
yet announced a date or indeed what we will actually be allowed to vote on.  There is a
real danger that rather than a vote to delete the 8th Amendment they will seek to replace
it with text that would still seek to deny bodily autonomy and allow abortion access in
very restricted circumstances.  Some 12 people a day are forced to travel to access
abortion and more use pills at home under the theoretical threat of a 14 year jail term,
the danger is that many of these people would still be unable to access abortion and
pregnant people would continue to find the 8th amendment denied them control in their own
pregnancy.

We will be meeting up at the march start point at 1.30 at Parnell SQ, just look out for
the Red & Black flags. Before this 13.00 we are having a meetup in our center at Jigsaw
which is nearby at 10 Belvedere Court (the red X above and to the right of Start Route One
on the map below), before heading down together. If you are on Facebook join our
Anarchists on the 2017 March for Choice event and help us build by asking your friends at
https://www.facebook.com/events/1920359291621922

The March is bring organised by the Abortion Rights Campaign who say

"The theme of our March this year is Time to Act!

The Citizens' Assembly report shows us the Irish people are pro-choice. We are ready for
change.

The movement to repeal the 8th Amendment from the Irish constitution has gone from
strength to strength. In March, Strike4Repeal saw thousands of people occupy O'Connell
Bridge, and march on the Dail in the evening, with countless more on the streets in cities
around Ireland and abroad, showing that the issue of abortion rights is not going away.

This year we have learned of young children sectioned under the Mental Health Act for
seeking abortions, of suicidal women denied access to the abortion they're entitled to
under the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Act because their doctor doesn't think
they're "suicidal enough".

Meanwhile in Northern Ireland women continue to be prosecuted for procuring their own
abortions, even though the push to decriminalise abortion is growing in the rest of the UK.

We need full repeal of the 8th Amendment in the Republic of Ireland, and proper
legislation in Northern Ireland. We need access to free, safe and legal abortion for all
who need or want it. And we need it now.

We have waited too long. We have been patient for too long. We are tired of waiting.

We need to act. Our government needs to act. And YOU need to act!

Join us on September 30th to make your pro-choice voice heard, this is your last chance
before a referendum is called.

It's Repeal O'Clock. It's Time to Act!"

Departure from the passionate desire to restore the damaged and unjust social order, and
how disappointed it is to see people compromise with the situation, we are now witnessing
a significant rise of young intellectuals in college that began to embrace the idea of
libertarian socialism. It arises from the results of repeated reflections on the failure
of the authoritarian and unethical orthodox leftist revolutionary project. ---- Many of us
are cornered, aloof, feel little and walk in no direction, but with little hope,
conducting individualized organizational arrangements as long as they do not violate our
principles: freedom, equality, interdependence, cooperation, mutual support, and
solidarity. The revolution was created spontaneously, but the revolution was unlikely to
succeed in sporadic ways. The revolution will also not be tomorrow, but this is not an
excuse to mobilize the revolutionary forces in the student sector. Therefore, it is time
to stop the movement with a disorganized tendency among anarchist students in Indonesia.

The criticisms of Plekhanov, Lenin, Trotsky and other orthodox comrades against us may be
true. The disorganized nationalist tendency among libertarian socialists has brought a
more tragic disappointment to experiments to create better social change. The Paris
Commune of 1871, the 1936 Spanish Revolution, the 1968 Paris Riot, and the libertarian
socialist failures in India by Mahatma Gandhi, in Cuba by Che Guevara and Jose Rizal &
Isabelo de los Reyes in the Philippines, proof that we can not close the ears of the
criticism. The success of the 2014 Rojava Revolution in Syria, gives us a lesson in the
methods we have used so far to create direct self-governing democracy and common ownership
of the means of production:

Come on, agitate and organize yourself, form a libertarian student federation in your
city! Unite in the barricades of workers and peasants!

STUDENT UNITE! ONE BIG FEDERATION!

The unions and social organisations who support this manifest fully share the motives who
are at the start of the call for a General Strike in Catalonia: the continuous loss of
rights for the working class and the repressive situation with more than 800 wounded
people, some of them in heavy states and more than 40 arrests from different State police
corps. A loss of social and labor rights that can't be tolerated. ---- We clearly condemn
the moves of the State and defend the right for the Catalan population to express with
total freedom on subjects of any kind, might it be self-determination or another one. ----
This repressive situation goes way further than the sole Catalan political situation and
create a very concerning precedent about how the central Government tackles social
struggles: pretending to save the rule of law to smash our basic rights and freedoms.

We understand the means of repression we discovered this week-end from the central
government aren't a true answer - even a gross heirs-of-franquism-like one - to the
«Catalan sovereignty challenge».
We oppose the State repression because we already experienced it in a systematic and
continuous way in our very bodies, in the streets and our workplaces. Therefore, we also
want to denounce the repressive nature of the Generalitat de Catalunya which has
persecuted, beaten, arrested and sent to prison all those who refused to look on this
another side when civil and human rights were being smashed.
We do not forget the way the Mossos d'Escuadra kicked us out of the Plaza Catalunya,
arrested and prosecuted unionists for their participation in the demo which had circled
the Parliament when our social rights were cut. We do not forget the comrades who were
arrested and sentenced to prison with the massive police operations.

We also wish to signal with concern that the most rancid fascism is now taking to the
streets with the blessing of the current party in power and we can observe how the power
gives feed them with oxygen mask through the old patriotic excuse. Once again, calling the
fascist dog to protect the interests of the bourgeoisie.

Strikes and our mobilizations are not a response against the Spanish attack nor an act
against the Catalan people. They are made in unity and solidarity with our Catalan
brothers and sisters to defend the rights and freedoms which belong to everyone.

For all these reasons, we make a call to the workers of Madrid to take part in the
mobilizations to defend our rights and freedoms and particularly to massively take part in
the gathering to support the general strike of October, 3rd.

Because we are the working class and we want to decide everything, it's our turn to take
to the streets, it's our turn to fight!

Saturday,  October 7 , the anarchist and small independent farmer Mikhail Shliáonikov
invites to Koliónovo (Moscow environs) " to all friends and anyone who wants to come, to a
non-scientific conference to commemorate in an excessive way 175 years of birth of PA
Kropotkin. ---- All very simple, with self-organization and self-sufficiency. Around a
large table, under the old linden trees, dividing the expenses; around the campfire, we
will talk about freedom, anarchy, security, mutual aid. How not to fall apart in these
times or how to prepare for next winter. We will drink, we will eat, we will talk. It will
be fruitful. They can help cut the wood. Certainly, we will plant some commemorative trees
in the garden. We'll invent something else. We accept creative proposals. ---- We suggest
not addressing issues such as bit coins, initial money offer, "who is guilty?", "2018
elections" and "how to save Russia ".

We suggest that each participant contribute a small amount for the expenses. "
