This Saturday,  December 2, 2017 , the presentation of the book of companion Dimitris 
Troaditis took place in the squatters' house Antiviosi (Ioánnina) "The sun of anarchy left 
- For a history of the anarchist movement in the territory of the Greek State". Next, the 
text of the call to presentation. ---- After a research of many years, a diligent work, as 
well as many expectations, was published by the libertarian editions "Koursal" the book of 
Dimitris Troaditis "The sun of anarchy left - For a history of the anarchist movement in 
the territory of the Greek State" 704 pages!]. ---- This book is a first attempt to record 
and present as many more traces as possible of the multicolored galaxy of early anarchist 
formations or close to anarchy, as well as attempts to form a similar movement in the 
territory of the Greek state in the  last quarter of the nineteenth century and the first 
decades of the twentieth century .

With an infinity of historical information about the life and action of certain people and 
collectives, and with the meticulous juxtaposition of original texts and other documents, 
the objective of this work is twofold: a. Covering the void in anarchist historiography, 
and b. To give impetus to the continuation of research and the study of this theme.

Because deep research, argumentation and the promotion of revolutionary history can and 
must constitute a work of the anarchist movement in the present and in the future. Because 
the struggle against oblivion is the indispensable key factor for the development of a 
dynamic and catalytic discourse and anarchist action of the struggle against Power.

Editorial: The moral of thieves

After the revelations of the "   Panama Papers   " in 2016, here are those of the " 
Paradise Papers"!

An international team of journalists has brought to light a vast network of tax evasion 
that concerns multinationals (Nike, Apple, Dassault Aviation) as well as political leaders 
or show business personalities. This is more than 5 000 billion euros that pass through 
many tax havens, with a "   shortfall   " for states that amounts to more than 350 
billion. This time, most of the transactions involved are legal. Helped by specialized law 
firms, capitalists exploit the smallest legal loopholes to stash their money. No wonder 
when we know that those who produce the legal rules are often the ones who benefit  !

One example: Prince Charles lobbied to change climate change agreements to benefit a 
Bermuda-based company in which he invested. Claiming more regulation is useless. The right 
is above all an ideological instrument of the bourgeoisie.

It serves to legitimize social inequalities behind seemingly neutral rules. Law is only 
the morality of capitalist thieves. As one of the characters in Steinbeck's novel The 
Grapes of Wrath said: "   When you're in business, you always have to lie and cheat, but 
it's called otherwise.  "

The most widespread weed killer has just seen its marketing authorization renewed for five 
years by the European Union. Although its carcinogenic potential is strongly suspected, it 
allows the maintenance of low costs in industrial agriculture. This explains the lack of 
political will to get out. An agricultural revolution remains to be done. ---- Weeding is 
one of the basic issues facing agricultural producers. It takes time and produces nothing. 
In this field, glyphosate, like other chemical substances, has been a post-war industrial 
solution to save labor time, thus reducing costs. This cold optimization of value 
production has destroyed ecosystems, polluted soils and poisoned humans. All this has 
already been told [1]and despite the postponement of successive ban in Europe announced 
long ago, this substance has just been allowed for five more years after a fantastic vote 
of Germany. Eventually, no doubt that glyphosate should be banned. But not the logic that 
holds it.

In industrial logic, replacing glyphosate with another substance would not disturb many 
people, the goal being to keep costs low (provided that states subsidize) to remain 
competitive in the global market. It is perfectly accepted that a herbicide can be of 
plant origin provided that it allows the safeguard of competitiveness. And so that 
tomorrow's agriculture is "   organic   ", while keeping as a rule the removal of certain 
living species to promote the production of value and consumer goods.

Inertia benefits industrialists

The constant changes in the orientation of the European institutions is an expression of 
diverging interests of different countries on these questions. Owners of field crops in 
Poland or Romania (on thousands of hectares) want to keep weed killers (including 
glyphosate), while countries whose production is negligible at the global level want to 
stop. And France, spearhead of these products for decades, plays the inertia, knowing full 
well that it benefits the industry.

We re-authorize, then we rediscute in three years ... This is the line of Nicolas Hulot. 
But what are we talking about  ? From maintaining a destruction agriculture to a " 
responsible   " one  ? From an organic label that always accepts more substances in its 
approval processes  ? Or a revolution  ?

Of course, for these people, it's not about revolution  ! This is happening elsewhere, 
among those who refuse to enter the system and who want to produce healthy and accessible 
to the greatest number ... Many questions are asked among these groups to carry an 
alternative, such as that of the legitimacy of bio as a label governed by the state [2], 
thermal weeding, or the role of "   consom'actor   " ...

But glyphosate poses two more specific questions: that of the grip of weed killers in the 
global economy, and that of the product from which they originate: the combat gases. A 
response line of libertarian tradition to build our reflections is that of mutual aid 
which is the phenomenon of proliferation of life, not competition.

During the 9th anniversary of the murder of 15-year-old Alexandros Grigoropoulos (Alexis) 
by the police, many actions took place in Greece's capital Athens and Thessaloniki. The 
first action took place in the Propylea district of Athens at noon. There was a clash 
between the group of high school students and the police. Students resisted the police 
attack by establishing barricades. ---- In Athens, the anarchists performed in the evening 
hours more than anyone else. There was a clash between police and activists in the action 
in the Exarchia region. The activists responded to the police attack with molotov 
cocktails, fireworks and stones. Conflicts continued throughout the night. In the evening, 
hundreds of people participated in the demonstration in Thessaloniki and the police 
attacked and clashes appeared. ---- It was announced that a total of 25 people were taken 
into custody while a large number of people were wounded due to the police attack in the 
activities until midnight.

On 6 December 2008, Alexandros Grigoropoulos had lost his last life with his friend Nikos 
Romanos, who fired one of the policemen who had been sitting in the Exarcheia region of 
Athens. After Alexis was murdered at the age of 15, a riot erupted two weeks in Athens,

One does not have to search far to find examples of how the police and the state apparatus 
is used during moments of resistance to exploitation and oppression. Around the world we 
see how time after time, workers protests are quelled by police, how movements of the 
oppressed are put down by force. The role of the state in maintaining the power of the 
elites has long been clear. ---- Over the last few years, we have had to face the real 
repression of the state many times, often exaggerated in its reaction. The state has tried 
to make comrades into terrorists, for example in the case of comrades from ASI several 
years ago or in the ridiculous case of the arrest of a comrade from the CNT-AIT at the 
beginning of 2016 for taking part in a politically satirical puppet show. In Poland, the 
state-run Post Office also tried, unsuccessfully, to charge a comrade from ZSP with 
"calling for a bloody revolution", which could have also resulted in serious charges.

The police and the state continue to repress and we continue to react. Comrades around the 
world face harassment and violence which we condemn, regardless of the level of its 
severity. In Spain, the libertarian social movements are under attack and in Russia, the 
very freedom to protest is severely constrained by the state. In Serbia, ASI has recently 
been taking direct action by organizing with tenants, to prevent evictions and the police 
have been monitoring activists and bringing charges against them. In Australia, the police 
have been carrying out brutal actions against refugees on Manus island. During a recent 
demonstration in Melbourne, in support of the refugees, when right-wing thugs attacked, 
instead of reacting, the police bludgeoned our comrade from ASF. When these bloody images 
shocked the world, in some media the police pretended that they had pacified a right-wing 
attacker, when in fact they stood idly by in relation to the attacks on the peaceful 
demonstration.

The state also continues to enable the repression of workers who take action against the 
bosses. Such is the situation of a worker from ZSP who called out his employee, a large 
supermarket chain, for various forms of abuse. The supermarket brought a bogus criminal 
case against the comrade and tried to initiate others against several workers and a couple 
of other members of ZSP. Where this hasn't worked, it constantly uses the police as an 
instrument of harassment.

The International Workers Association, which was created to fight both capitalism and the 
state, condemns all these instances of repression, as well as the general tendencies 
towards repression of resistance. We call on comrades all over the world to react wherever 
and whenever the police or the state has committed an aggression and to keep vigilant. An 
injury to one is an injury to all!

Food Instead of Bombs (Food Not Bombs) is a worldwide initiative undertaken by more than a 
thousand groups in the world, including a dozen or so in Poland consisting in preparing 
and issuing warm, free, vegan meals to those who need it. The action is an expression of 
opposition to wars and armaments, to which the authorities spend the funds removed from 
society, while thousands of people are starving and forced to live on the street. ----Food 
Not Bombs is derived from anti-nuclear and anti-war protests. We are abused by the 
enormity of resources devoted to armaments to satisfy the greed of corporations and the 
imperial aspirations of governments. Resources that could be used to meet basic 
nutritional, housing and health care needs, that is, what truly constitutes our security, 
as opposed to the number of tanks, bombers and other killing tools. The Polish government 
does not see the need for canteens for children in schools. Instead, he prefers to install 
shooting ranges, which shows his priorities - ours are different!

We pay attention to the problem of wasting food on a massive scale. We obtain our products 
free of charge. Most of them would not be sold due to low demand or expiring date. The 
policy of the state and producers is focused on increasing profits, not on providing 
people with food. By recovering vegetables suitable for consumption, we protect them from 
being thrown away, instead preparing them warm meals, almost entirely outside the 
capitalist monetary circulation.
Neoliberal financial elites do not want the presence of poor people in city centers. They 
evict residents of gentrified houses, transfer social assistance centers to distant 
suburbs, and those who are harassed by uniformed services obedient to them. In this way 
they build an image of prestige, wealth and an undisturbed order. We strike this order, 
deliberately organizing our campaign on the most representative street of Poznan. We will 
not allow sweeping social problems under the carpet. It is often repeated that poor people 
are themselves guilty. We think that the capitalist system is guilty, the beneficiaries of 
which are the richest, exploiting all those who are worse off.
It is very important to us that our dinners are always vegan. We represent a kitchen free 
of suffering, exploitation of animals and destruction of the environment. We want to show 
that it is possible to prepare a fully valuable and tasty meal without killing other 
beings, and to break the belief that the vegan diet is expensive and alien to our culinary 
habits. The cessation of industrial animal husbandry would help solve the global hunger 
problem, as the total number of farm animals around the world consumes a quantity of food 
equal to the caloric needs of almost two times the number of human populations.

Our group has no hierarchical structure, all decisions are made jointly.
We are not dependent on any religious organization, we do not accept any funds from state 
institutions.
