On March 26-28, the Regional Conference on Production Reconstruction of the Region of

the next steps of their attack against our class, organize more effectively the 
ever-increasing exploitation and devaluation of our work. And if perhaps it would seem 
reasonable to react by saying that he can not, we have gotten to the bottom, unfortunately 
for us, the pre-election anti-memorandum! - SYRIZA-ANEL government has proved more than 
capable of proving to us every time that ... there are many more that can and should be 
done. ---- It suffices to sit a little and remember what followed all those times that had 
been announced in the past by the advent of much-needed development: escalating the 
on-going assault on work, insurance, social freedoms, environment and social goods. After 
the cuts in wages and pensions, privatizations, cuts in all public benefits, the gradual 
abolition of Sunday's holiday, the increase in taxes, the rise in prices for commodities, 
the change in the insurance system came, first-place auctions, and the attempt to abolish 
the right to strike by questioning the collective workers' organs. Warehouses now occupy

It would be wrong to believe that the above are isolated incidents, unfortunate moments 
the "unconscious bosses". Or that it is a "difficult phase" that we all have to "make

workers. That is why we call it Chapter: someone buys and concentrates, the profits that

sweat and blood have done - without much trouble being the truth - to convince us that our 
interest is identical to theirs. That their profitability is ours. That the "productive 
reconstruction" they are planning and implementing is and for our own benefit. What to say,

For those who, however, remain skeptical or even unbelievers, the state - as the political 
form of capital - with the continuity that distinguishes it, and which so proudly assured 
the prime minister, guarantees the law (the powerful) and the class (that is, its 
enforcement). The squabbling discharges, the police crackdown, the litigation industry, 
the tortured trials, and the extortionate sentences imposed on anarchists and other

Health data is all the information that exists, often in a computerized way, about our 
individual health status. The volumes of these data are growing exponentially, and the 
problems that this causes are multiple. ---- Five years ago, an appointment was made at 
the doctor's office or at a specialist's office by typing his number on a keyboard and 
calling him. Now there is Mondocteur.fr. More and more doctors push or even force their 
patients to use this website. Let's see what he proposes to us. ---- When you log in, you 
come to an interface that allows you to choose a doctor. We have direct access to all 
slots available, and in a few minutes, we have our appointment for tomorrow or for a 
month. How simple it is  ! But, if we look more closely, the obligation to go through this 
platform poses some major problems. The absence of a human intermediary and inequalities 
in the use of the internet are two important, but it is the third that will interest us.

This is the question of the data we generate via this website. Who has access to it, and 
to do what  ? These data exist, materially. And if one day it was possible for our insurer 
to have them available, what would he think of this meeting with a cardiologist  ? And 
this employer for whom you are having an interview, what would he think of this meeting 
with an oncologist a year ago  ?

This innocuous example raises the main questions related to "   connected   " health: they 
are social, and for health to remain accessible to all, we must understand them.

The issues of connected health

Connected health is all digital tools that are being used today, or tomorrow, as part of 
health. The arguments in his favor are mainly of three types. First, it would help fight 
against medical deserts. For example, telemedicine consultations allow you to communicate 
with your doctor via your computer. A second argument is about improving prevention: by 
analyzing our cardiac data, a connected watch could tell us if it's time to go for a test. 
Finally, the autonomy of patients is targeted, in connection with economic imperatives. 
Thus, the Diabeo application, coupled with a patch to stick on the arm, helps diabetic 
patients manage their insulin doses alone.

But now, these data that seem to serve our health, can be used against us. Abilify MyCite 
is the first connected drug to be licensed on the US market. It is prescribed as part of a 
treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. How is he connected  ? It contains a 
sensor that sends the information of the ingestion of the drug to a server. This means 
that the doctor can follow the patient's compliance with the treatment, ie he can know if 
the patient is taking the prescribed treatment. This data can certainly be used to deride 
drugs from patients who do not take them, not regularly enough, or in the wrong way.

Inequalities in repayment

But what happens in the United States often seems far away, and it is not with our good 
old health system that this kind of thing would happen ... And yet  ! In 2013, a decree 
provides for the disbursement of care equipment to patients suffering from sleep apnea ... 
The device in question could indeed send the data of compliance of the treatment. The 
decree was annulled by the Council of State in 2014. We see that we are never far from the 
coughing of patients for questions, always savings. Would these methods help to " empower 
  " patients  ? There is no evidence that they improve adherence ! On the other hand, they 
break the equality in the reimbursement of medicines. In all cases, these repressive 
measures are taken in an authoritarian manner and without consultation with the 
associations of patients.

Because the problem of substance is there. That this data exists is a fact. That there 
will be more and bigger volumes, that's for sure. We can make the choice to refuse all 
these technologies, but it would be a social choice that would require real debates, 
nonexistent now perhaps apart from a few institutions. We can also choose to accept these 
technologies, because we would decide that our health requires it.

In the latter case, these decisions can only be collective. But the state, following 
private interests, is doing everything we can to face these choices.

Thus, a big plan is currently mounted to sequence the genomes of French patients and 
patients, that is to say to read their DNA, our DNA. This plan aims to increase our 
knowledge of certain diseases, so we can better treat them. But genome data is extremely 
sensitive, and even a confidentiality contract can hardly guarantee that they will not 
fall into the wrong hands. Moreover, insurers are not mistaken and fund research in these 
areas. The Prime Minister, in his speech of 17 July 2017 on the subject, explained that " 
respect for individual consent in the use of health data generated   " was a legitimate 
question. The problem is in this word, "  individual   ". Imagine a patient in his 
doctor's office who tells him that he has a serious illness and offers to sequence his 
genome to find out more. In this moment of fragility, weakness in the face of the disease, 
but also of loneliness, how many patients will be able to assess the risks and benefits of 
agreeing to deliver their genome  ? How many patients will be sufficiently surrounded and 
informed to really have the choice and the freedom to answer "   yes   " or "   no   "  ? 
This process individualizes an issue that can only be collective. The lack of real debate 
on these topics in our society suggests that we will not be able to make these choices in 
an informed way.

The health system is a collective issue. Individualizing it serves the interests of those 
who want to make it a business.

Brighton SolFed started a public campaign against Sushimania Brighton with a picket. The 
campaign is in support of a former worker who they failed to  pay properly, resulting in 
outstanding payment of £1,200.35 in unpaid wages and holiday pay.

After the worker approached Brighton SolFed for support , we tried to resolve the issue 
amicably. However Sushimania claim that the worker only worked 32 hours per week, when in 
reality it was twice as much. We have now started a public campaign to make these facts knows.

Thessaloniki took place the Transnistrian solidarity course in Transylvania, which was 
accompanied by their presence as well as by summoned comrades and comrades from other 
cities in the country and from all Balkans. ---- The course reunited more than 4,000 
people and moved dynamically, shouting slogans, flying tits, writing sprays and sharing 
texts, while some cameras were also broken. ---- At 11.00, a concentration on Libertatia 
occupation was called for solidarity, due to its arson on 21 January by fascists. The 
people gathered there moved to Kamara where he joined the rest of the world that had 
already been gathered. In this preconcentration, the Libertatia Convention, the occupation 
of Mundo Nuevo, the Solidarity Assembly in Libertatia, the libertarian philosophical 
scheme, the Quieta Movere Students' Anarchist Assembly, the Rosa de fire occupation, the 
APO (the group of anarchists and communists), Pelotos (Xanthi), the Anarchist Collegiate 
Kiatra (Arta), the Pasamontana Hangout and collectives from the Balkans. Later he joined 
the particular course of action and the Anti-Axis Movement.

The people who called on Kamara, some of the groups calling for the concentration of 
Libertatia and several Balkan comrades, were found the previous day at a large meeting at 
the Aristotle School of Sciences.

The concentration of Kamara put political spikes on the struggle against nationalisms, 
tensions and wars in the Balkans and everywhere, but also solidarity in all occupations 
that were assaulted.

At the top of the blocks that started from Kamara, the Balkan bloc was set up, which, in 
addition to the comrades who came from neighboring countries, supported collectives from 
Thessaloniki, such as the Odysseia Yfanet, but also from all over Greece.

Followed by the antipatriotic-antipatriarchal block called + technics - and Soire Noir, 
and which was also flanked by many comrades and comrades from all over the Balkans.

Series was the block which created collectives from Thessaloniki (Libertarian Syndicalist 
Union Thes / niki, Libertarian Initiative Thes / niki, Occupation Terra incognita, 
Collegiality Anarchists from the East, Anarchist Pyranthos Group Open Meeting West End, 
Free Social School Area for ), organized and / or supported by collectives from many 
cities in Greece (including: Vogliamo tutto e per tutti, Anarchist federation and the 
groups An Anarcho-Anatussian Hangout Attack - Patra -, IE of Ioannina, Sebrevia and No 
Pasaran - Giannena - etc.). The - very dynamic and organized - security of the block 
consisted of over 120 comrades and comrades.

In Kamara were also invited many collectives from all over Greece (Occupation 111, 
Occupation Gare, Autonomous State of Kavala, Community of Occupations of Koukaki, Student 
Group for solidarity in the struggle of BIO.ME, Anarcho-syndicalist Initiative Rosinante 
etc. ).

Along the way, it was followed by the Central Anarchist Central Coordination Unit, as well 
as another block formed by the Structure of Self-Defense of Occupations and Emergency 
Housing Facility from Athens.

The last part of the course was followed by the Anti-Semitic Internationalist Movement, 
the Antiracist Initiative of Thessaloniki, ANTARSYA, and Aristotle's Square along with 
Kurds and Kurds who were gathering solidarity at that time in Afghanistan, besieged by the 
Turkish army.

This course has made it clear that the exploited and oppressed of the Balkans and the 
world have nothing to divide. The interests of sovereigns are the same whatever language 
they speak, whatever their name they have. That is why we claim our life and freedom 
together against names and national identities, against the states, the bosses and their 
long hand, the fascists.

Finally, we can only mention the dozens that came along while it was in motion, but even 
the more who encountered it, they perceived the dynamics and the reasons that made it down 
the road. For all these reasons, we appreciate that this course, as well as all the 
actions that preceded it, left a rich resource both for the world of struggle and for the 
city. It was an important moment of the struggle against the states and the capital, the 
nations and the nationalisms separating the oppressed, against the fascists who would not 
be able to win the streets of this city but also of every city.

I met Hakur Hilmarsson (Spark) in Athens, where we lived together in the same squat. ---- 
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to learn about his experiences that he gained 
during the last months while he was fighting with the international freedom battalion as 
this story will never be told by himself in person. ---- The fact of Hakur Hilmarsson 
being murdered in Efrin during the attack of the turkish army is tied to his will to 
struggle for anarchist ideas, freedom and dignity, not just on a local level, but globally 
with international forces. ---- When I got to know him he had friends, comrades and lovers 
in Athens and all over the world. We went together to demonstrations, took part in 
assemblies, shared martial art skills, had long and intensive conversations and squatted 
houses to create (anarchist) spaces for people from different backgrounds. We lived in a 
self determined and self-organized way and did direct actions, attacking the capitalist 
and fascist forces trying to destroy and suppress us. We shared the desire to destroy all 
borders, nations and the state. Besides, Hakur Hilmarsson was not a simple anarchist 
personality. He wasn't interested to stay in any (anarchist) bubble, but to connect with 
different minded people. I guess this is the reason why many people from different places 
love him. Because he was open to many different perspectives, he had to offer a lot on a 
practical, social and spiritual level and showed mutual respect to all.

Hakur Hilmarsson was a supporter of an idea that I would call "diversity of tactics". He 
was into different kinds of intervention tactics: poems and music to led the fire in our 
hearts, articles and speeches to express the desire of freedom, climbing and breaking in 
to empty houses to squat and rebuild them, but arming himself with sticks and weapons to 
fight for revolutionary change. Hakur Hilmarsson was a well thaiboxer. We practiced 
together to develop our self defense skills and to enable us to fight back with physical 
violence where it was necessary. He was not just a revolutionary anarchist, he was a 
friendly, kind and lovely person too. And when he took part in an action or participated 
in a project his potential would be in there.

I liked him a lot because of his personality and his inspiring way of life. It was a lot 
of fun that we had during almost everything that we did together. I remember him as a 
social and open minded person with the ability to make commitments when they made sense to 
him. However Hakur Hilmarsson would never loose his individual and refreshing style. Maybe 
the explanation by a friend that we had in common is adequate to explain the complexity of 
his peaceful, but militant attitude: "a pacifist until the first hit". I find it important 
to mention that he was not showing off, but he was conscious about the value of his 
experiences. All of this so called contradictions made him in my eyes amazingly beautiful.

The hierarchies inside of our anarchist structures were questioned and criticized by him 
on a regular base. So I guess he wouldn't mind for me to mention the following. Sometimes 
he was a tiny bit annoying and I respect that because it is totally human. Sometimes, he 
behaved in a way that is quiet typical for masculinity, especially that kind that is 
deeply entrenched inside of our anarchist struggles. The reason why I mention this is 
because I don't want to draw a picture of a hero or show just one side of a person.

We should never forget the powerful and lovely actions that he took. All of those who met 
him will understand the loss that his death means. Nevertheless I have to say that I don't 
recognize him as a hero. But without any doubt we can say that Hakur Hilmarsson lived an 
intensive live and that he impressed many people so many times.

I remember that we were disagreeing on the question of our anarchist positions related to 
(corporate) media and his opinion that we should use the media strategically, which I 
didn't agree to. I never saw the media as a legitimate tool to fight the battle against 
capitalism and the state because they are an integral part of the problem and therefor an 
enemy. However, it was fun to argue about those things with him. I think the understanding 
of our differences was important for our relation and did not change that I felt strongly 
connected to him on a political and on a personal level too.

Hakur Hilmarsson was not dogmatic at all. His positions were very political, but he was 
not limiting them to any ideology. Neither an anarchist nor any other ideology was 
recognizable when he was talking. It was obvious that he had a big interest in 
revolutionary struggles and their practical preparations. By being undogmatically 
anarchist he was a great influence for all of us. Hakur Hilmarsson was raising questions 
that were vital. He tried to figure out how to make our struggles strong and meaningful. 
Since the first day when I met Hakur Hilmarsson made a very respectful, thoughtful and 
honest impression to me. He could say his opinion without hesitation, he could explain his 
positions, he was interested in a lot of different topics and he had a clear mind. But 
sometimes we wear bored by political discussions or needed some rest, then we enjoyed 
being ironical, joked a lot and had a good time together. He was a great storyteller and 
soon it became clear that he had a lot of things to tell and I am thankful that he shared 
many fascinating and funny experiences with us.

Hakur Hilmarsson knew that he wasn't fighting alone and he had comrades that were fighting 
alongside with him. From Iceland, through Greece, to Rojava: He dedicated his live to the 
revolutionary struggle and so we do. The revolution is fought by us on a daily base 
because we are anarchists who refuse to wait for a better moment in the future. Not 
because we are heroes and heroines, but because there isn't any better moment than now. We 
carry Hakur Hilmarsson and his actions in our hearts, in our minds and in the fire that we 
spread. Until the death of capitalism and the destruction of the state! Therefor what we 
need is a revolution, our individual and a collective revolution. We don't need heroes. We 
simply need to recognize our own responsibility today. Unfortunately these heroic figures 
can't make me feel better, at least not as long as i stay peaceful and don't break with 
the pacified society. With other words: This heroism is ridiculous. It's a construction 
made by passive observers. It is a meaningless construction created to protect the 
comfortable positions of the political left. We have to recognize the enemy in front of 
us, to take conscious decisions and to fight back - in our daily life, in our 
relationships, in our assemblies and in our struggles. The revolution is either fought by 
armed, decentralized and ordinary people or it has to fail. Either we all become heroines 
or none of us.

How can we hope for a better tomorrow when we don't fight for a better today now? How can 
we talk about peace if war is the language that our enemy speaks? Some of us risk their 
live to fight for a better tomorrow, but we all should take a step forward today and take 
risk. The armed struggle needs YOU!

A war against all authorities is needed if we really want to liberate ourselves and fight 
for the total destruction of the capitalist society and the domination by the state. So if 
we want freedom and self determination, anarchy and autonomy, a world without borders and 
without domination - We should become a SPARK!

POLOmarket is trying to repress former employees fighting for outstanding wages. ---- On 
March 8, the first criminal trial of eight Poles accused by POLOmarket (the so-called 
POLO8 case) took place. In retaliation for organizing protests against bad working 
conditions in the network of POLOmarket supermarkets, they were accused of invented 
misdemeanors. A supermarket lawyer presented as "evidence in the case" information on 
further protests planned against the network. Protests have been legalized, but in the 
eyes of a lawyer, apparently, they are a crime, and urging employees to demand their 
rights is allegedly a violation of secret codes known only to POLO lawyers. ---- The last 
year's visit to the POLOmarket headquarters in Giebnia served as a pretext for the case 
against the eight of the defendants. This visit was arranged with the management of the 
company and concerned the unfair dismissal of one of the employees. We wrote more about 
this topic here .

Negotiations in the conference room went smoothly and were very constructive. However, 
many months later, the supermarket management decided to bring a fictitious accusation, 
such as "causing a threat to traffic." Of course, there was no traffic block. The accused 
do not plead guilty and the next trials will take place in April.

Every month, subsequent employees take action against POLOmarket. In September, the 
process of two former POLOmarket employees ended with a favorable settlement .

We are proud that employees do not give up despite the adversities they encounter. We 
believe that they can be an example of not being subjected to harassment by employers. 
Unfortunately, this type of harassment is very widespread in our country, especially 
towards the least-paid employees and employees with disabilities, who are often 
exceptionally exploited. Such employees have already organized themselves as part of the 
ZSP and have shown that they are determined to fight for their rights and - most 
importantly - they won.
