Shut down the zoo that killed an innocent wolf

The Calgary Zoo put Kali the wolf down because they wanted younger wolves. It's time Calgary officials shut this zoo down.

Dear friends, Kali the wolf was one of the most beloved animals at the Calgary Zoo in Alberta, Canada. But that didn't make a difference to the zoo owners — they euthanized her simply because they wanted room for younger wolves. Kali was a senior animal, but she was still lively. She wasn't ill, and she wasn't a threat to anyone or any of the other animals. But Calgary Zoo still decided to put her down, because they had younger wolf pups they wanted to put on display. Animals aren't just dispensable toys that can be tossed aside for shinier, newer ones. A zoo that is this cruel and irresponsible to the animals they are supposed to protect shouldn't be in business in the first place.
