Edmonton Airport ships live horses to be slaughtered in Japan. Tell them to stop supporting live export!

Dear friends,
Although the consumption of horse meat is almost non-existent in countries like the U.S. and Canada, horse meat is still consumed in other parts of the world. In order to supply this demand, live horses are shipped out of Canada for slaughter. Recent videos show the appalling treatment of live horses at Edmonton International Airport (EIA) — horses are overcrowded in crates too small for them and go up to 36 hours without any food or water.
We cannot allow this cruel industry to continue operating. You can take the first step to shut down the transport of live horses for slaughter.
Thank you,

P.S. Live horses are being transported from EIA to be slaughtered and eaten. Demand EIA to stop this cruel practice immediately! |
