The US Government Wants To Tear This Family Apart

They are twins, but only one got citizenship. Tell the U.S. government both are American. Sign Now Dear  friends, First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage. Then you get a rejection letter from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) refusing to recognize one of your children as an American citizen. That is what happened to one couple in Los Angeles, and now they are fighting for what's right. Andrew is American. His husband Elad is Israeli. Both men fathered a baby each, both of whom were carried by the same Canadian surrogate. But because one of the twin boys isn't American by blood, the government has decided to reject his petition for U.S. citizenship. What makes it even more offensive is the fact that a straight couple under the same circumstances would have no problem getting citizenship for both children. This is a shocking example of how gay couples are discriminated against in immigration cases. Under U.S. law, all legally married couples are equal. But USCIS doesn't seem to know that and now wants to deny a child of his right to be an American citizen. Tell USCIS that what they are doing is not only cruel, it's wrong.
