On the night of March 14, Marielle Franco, was brutally executed by bullets, at the end of
a debate with other black women, in the neighborhood of la Lapa in Rio de Janeiro.
Anderson Pedro Gomes, the driver of the car where she was, was also murdered. ----
Marielle Franco was a feminist activist, black and lesbian, born in the favela of the
Maré, particularly committed against racism, repression and police violence. For years she
was fighting against the abuses of the Military Police of the State of Rio. City Councilor
of the Party of Socialism and Freedom (PSOL, radical left) she recently became rapporteur
of the commission to investigate the federal military intervention decreed by the
government of Michel Temer to " ensure security " in the State of Rio . Four days before
his death, Marielle denounced violent action of the 41 th Battalion of the Military Police
in the favela of Acari, where police officers terrorized the inhabitants and inhabitants,
penetrating violently into the houses and throwing young people in a pit full of detritus.

On Saturday, April 7, around 4,000 opponents of abortions on the traditional march crossed
the center of the threshold, combining Catholic return and nationalist sentiment. As
usual, this conservative parade did not go without the response of free-minded
individuals. There were several dozens with a large yellow transparency, "State. Nation.
Patriarchate. "God is trans," "Legal abortion = the only safe abortion," "Joseph, God and

We call upon the anarchist, libertarian and, in general, revolutionary collectivities to
create events that conflict with NATO's sovereignty, by defining our fate by NATO's
imperatives and the counterparts of the great powers and their local government officials.
---- We have come to a time when political developments in the eastern Mediterranean and
the Balkans are running rapidly. The transnational issues that arise are not just a game
of capitalists to throw us ashes in our eyes - a fact that is good enough to overcome key
issues in the everyday social / class war - but also a result of the historical
controversy that exists between the national elites for control and exploitation of larger
areas, accompanied by the "irredentist great idea" of every nationalism, Greek, Turkish,
Bulgarian, Slav-Macedonian, Albanian ...
War clouds thicken in the eastern Mediterranean. From Syria and northern Africa to the
Balkans, warfare and increasing military mobilization have created a very dangerous
landscape for new, much wider, entanglements.
The the DAESH and areas controlled by kourdoaravikes militias (SDF, YPG-YPJ) dissolution
of Syria in areas controlled by the Assad regime, the Islamic pro-Turkish rebel forces
(FSA - «Free Syrian Army", etc.), has led to millions of people, besides the daily
casualties of civilians. The US, Russia and Turkey are working for their own interests to
control areas to serve their geopolitical and strategic interests by sending troops to the
region. In this complex situation, the only certainty is that the prevalence of interests
of major global (US, Russia) or regional (Turkey) forces will not only lead to the further
dissolution of all social unity and strengthening of religious fundamentalism.
When you are surrounded by the DAESH Jihadists in Kobani or the Turkish Army and Syros's
collaborators (the so-called "Free Syrian Army"), then you have only to choose to receive
the military hand of help if you are spread by a great superpower , knowing that at some
point this hand can be retreated.
The complex scene may not be so bloody but similarly complex in the case of the Balkans.
NATO's heartbearing to immediately resolve the nomenclature that has arisen by
re-establishing the Macedonian issue unlocks a series of societal reactions in the states
involved.
As in the historical place of Asia Minor, for centuries, Greeks, Turks, Armenians, etc.,
lived in the historical area of Cyprus, living as Greeks and Turks as in the historical
area of Epirus, for centuries, Greeks and Albanians live as in the historical area Thrace,
Greeks, Turks, Pomaks, etc. have been living for centuries and Greeks, Slavs, Bulgarians,
Albanians and others have lived in the historical site of Macedonia. No such geographic
region belongs to a single ethnic group historically, however much the "great national
idea" claims the monopoly in it.
The NATO imperative for a direct expansion of its presence in the region with the
accession of FYROM, in the context of NATO's disagreement with Russia and its allies, is
the one that re-establishes the Macedonian issue not to bridle the peoples of the region
but to serve his or her own interests, disregarding any negative impact on the societies
of this wider region.
At the same time, the "allies in NATO" Greece and Turkey take out their ships and other
ships in the Aegean as well as the aircrafts on top of it in a dangerous crusade of power
demonstration. At the same time, the Cypriot issue, which is again in the forefront,
remains an open plague that, as long as it is under the transcendence of transnational
antagonisms and nationalisms, and not on the basis of international solidarity and
co-operation, respecting the history and self- , is another active flammable zone.
The Macedonian issue, the Cypriot issue and the Greek-Turkish tension in the Aegean are
only three manifestations of a wider set that we must break free from Nato's sovereignty
and nationalist delusions. In the same region, the shift of the Kurdish movement towards
the democratic confederation, which raised the question of democracy, ecology and gender
equality in the historical region of Mesopotamia, gave a new promising dimension. At a
similar wavelength, the ideas of Rigas Feraios for a Balkan Federation of all peoples and
the federalist proposals of the first anarchists, such as Bakunin, conceal a truth and a
solution. This truth and this solution must be restarted to solve the modern yarn ties.
We call upon the anarchist, libertarian and, in general, revolutionary collectivities to
create events that conflict with NATO's sovereignty, by defining our fate by NATO's
imperatives and the counterparts of the great powers and their local government officials.
The road to social liberation goes through the practical, terrestrial bridging of peoples
in here and now.

'9. Revolution must aim to bring human society into harmony with the rest of nature, for
our own basic quality of life and for the sake of other species. This aim is not
fundamentally opposed to technological development or mass society, which are always
expressions of the current social system. Rather, we strive for a libertarian, ecological,
technology.' ---- When we consider the billions of barren, lifeless, planets in our
universe, it is a stark reminder of how vital the physical environment is to the existence
and flourishing of life. The proper balance and functioning of the Earth's climate and
ecosystems is the basis of everything good on our planet - access to food, water,
tolerable temperature, and shelter from extreme weather.
In recent decades, humans have seriously begun to unravel that crucial balance and
functioning, threatening irreversible, catastrophic, damage to both our own societies and
to the livelihoods of other species. The threat to humanity is not a quick 'bullet to the
head', but a long, slow, painful, decline into barbarism. The primary cause is
human-caused climate change. There is a small, closing, window of opportunity to halt and
reverse this process, which urgently calls us all to action, action which will involve
substantial change both at the highest institutional levels and in our day-to-day lives.
However, we do not accept that this destruction is a ‘natural', inevitable, fact of Homo
sapiens. Rather, it is the predictable outcome of an irrational social system governed by
a small minority, which demands infinite material growth, while having no method of
accounting for ecological costs. That system is capitalism, and the state, as its sibling
institution, has been equally incapable of executing the changes necessary to restore balance.
We cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking which produced it. The only
adequate solution is to fundamentally transform our societies, re-writing its basic
driving forces, and the way we relate to one another. Ecological harmony and
sustainability must become the new ‘bottom-line'. This is only possible within the direct
democratic, co-operative, rational, framework of libertarian socialism.
Some respond to this crisis by blaming technology and large-scale settlements themselves,
advocating a return to a simpler time, often a life within small bands of hunter
gatherers. We reject that conclusion both because it is not feasible to return over 7
billion humans to such an existence and because we believe it is possible to live in a
mass, technological, society which is both free and in harmony with the rest of nature.
Neither technology nor human nature are the critical issue. We of course recognise the
great harm caused by technologies used inappropriately (such as supercomputers used to
game the stock market), or technologies which are definite products of a society based on
greed, warfare, and control (such as Facebook, the stealth bomber, and tear gas). However,
we also recognise the enormous liberatory potential of technology, much of which has been
actualised already even within an unfree world. Automation is a clear illustration. Under
capitalism and the state it will destroy jobs, sharpen war, and bolster repression. Under
anarchism, it could free us from toil to pursue our highest natures.
We emphasise that humans are not the centre of the universe, the only species which
counts. Humans should use our uniquely advanced capacity to reason, co-operate, and work
for an altruistic purpose, to be stewards of planet Earth for the sake of all species,
rather than irresponsibly plundering and vandalising the home we share.
