We are angered to report that members of the Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia
(KSPSI) engaged in an unprovoked attack of PPAS Jakarta members during a May Day march. In
similar style to fascist groups that attack libertarians and take trophies, they stole
PPAS flags and their banner. ---- KSPSI is the only union that was legal under the
Soeharto regime and is perhaps used to being a regime monopoliist union with protection
from the state. However, they should be ashamed that their members beat other workers
during the workers' day of struggle. ---- Workers of the world, the only good unions are
the ones controlled by workers themselves and which are not in bed with the bosses or the
regime! ---- Solidarity to the comrades of PPAS against all the thugs who try to
intimidate them! ---- IWA Secretariat ---- http://www.iwa-ait.org/es/node/763

On the occasion of the international workers' holiday, the IWA sends greetings to all
workers of the world. This May Day, we are out in the streets in different cities,
reminding of our international struggle against capitalist exploitation and for workers'
self-management. We also struggle against the state and its instruments which defend the
capitalist order and repress resistance. ---- The situation of the working class differs
both around the world and in particular situations. Nonetheless, we can witness trends
which are trans-national in their nature. One is the rise of xenophobic sentiment, which
is used to put working people against each other and confuse them about the real nature of
their exploitation. ---- Many working people feel the harsh realities of a system that is
not working for them. Where those who have access to capital reep the most rewards while
the average person struggles for survival.

The realities of the uneven access to wealth is often felt the sharpest in countries with
low wages, high unemployment or in places with mass poverty, Immigration is nothing new
and for hundreds and even thousands of years, people have made their way across the globe
in search of a better life.
All of the political tendencies which seek to blame immigrants for the worsening situation
of the working class under capitalism act as the useful idiots of the bosses.

The IWA is based on internationalism and the solidarity of the working class. We do not
accept the ideas that divide us based on concepts such as nation. Likewise, we recognize
that there is no such thing as a better capitalism based on national concepts, such as
national statehood.

There are no nationalist solutions to our problems. The real way forward is to realize our
common struggle and to break our chains together!

Down with capitalism and the state!
Workers have no nations!

Today, in the building of the Grunwald-Jezyce District Court in Poznan, members and
tenants of the tenant's movement, as well as tenants and tenants of Poznan tenements met
on the announcement of the verdict in the case of cleaning houses. ---- The Poznan tenant
movement 6 years ago organized a public collection under the slogan "Solidarnie z
Lokatorami". It was thanks to her that the WSL could pay for the plenipotentiary, who
represented the residents in the trial against the Poznan cleaners of tenement houses. At
the same time, we were prepared that Polish law enforcement agencies would not act
quickly. Then the problem of displacement was marginalized and devalued by the majority of
institutions. Despite the victory, in the form of sentences condemning Piotr Sruba, Pawel
Zukowski and Adrian Wozniak to the penalty of absolute imprisonment - successively two
years, one year and ten months - and the need to pay compensation to tenants, displacement
in Poznan will probably still be a problem. Gentlemen with proverbial "thick necks" also
appear under the tie as "urban activists",pursuing their businesses.

Is it really a win, is a turning point for residential traffic and residents of Poznan? We
are not so sure. On the one hand, the defendant was seated only by contractors, and not by
the ordering party, who were associated with humiliation and intimidation, with threats.
Exposing the residents sometimes to health and life. It happened that the oldest people
persecuted by the cleaners did not live to the end of the process, eg dying of a heart
attack. Principals and people who have used the services of "cleaners" called
"administering", which actually boil down to paying for the tenants, "living insert",
"ballast burdening the resource and property", remain unpunished. The collection bodies
and the prosecutor's office did a lot to absolutely grant them, neither disclose nor be
held accountable. It is the efforts of the tenants who created the Poznan tenant movement
and supporting journalists and residents that led to the disclosure of links between the
cleaners of tenement houses and subsidiaries of NeoBank and specific names of people
employing, among others, Piotr Srube. The Poznan prosecutor's office ignored documents
showing police cooperation with Piotr Sruba. Therefore, this judgment is only a starting
point for further discussion on the scale of the dynamically developing real estate
services market - providing resettlement services. With many years of consent from the
state and local authorities, it has been developing dynamically, for at least 20 years.
Tenants will never forget the cynical councils of Poznan policemen - to hire a security
company if they want to ensure security on the free real estate market. We also remember
the cooperation of policemen with the very cleaner of tenement houses, consisting of on
providing officers with information and warning against the actions of tenant traffic. In
due course, Poznan policemen receivedthe right reward . The prosecution and repression of
the participants of the tenant movement was more often and extremely easy for the police.

With equal sense of shame, today's verdict can be received by politicians and officials
associated with Poznan. Starting from the former Governor of Wielkopolska, Piotr Florek,
who promised tenants harassed by Piotr Sruba, restoring water supplies; former President
of the City of Poznan Ryszard Grobelny, effectively hiding from the lodgement protests. In
many ways, the dam avoided taking responsibility for the housing policy of the city and
the lack of respect for the rights of the harassed inhabitants. The former head of ZKZL
Jaroslaw Pucek should be ashamed. Mr. Pucek tried to play the role of the only fair,
ostentatiously leaving the studio of one of the television stations "in protest" against
the invitation to the program (as he knew earlier) Piotr Sruby. Puck's empty gesture did
not interfere with the implementation of the shameful program of the container ghetto for
the so-called difficult tenants, using the same rhetoric as Screw, or implementing a
policy of urban displacement, instead of housing programs. To this day, Jaroslaw Pucek
prides himself on his projects, while being a lawyer he did not take up the defense of
residents of "cleaned" tenement houses. It is worth remembering in the context of
political ambitions declared by Jaroslaw Puck.

Today's verdict is a signal for those who are still engaged in the cleaning of townhouses.
Numerous interventions of the Wielkopolska Association of Tenants connected with illegal
evictions, displacements and cleaning of tenement houses continue. Only people and methods
change. "Cleaning" tenement houses is not a marginal problem for a dozen or so tenants (as
it results from today's court judgment, Sruba was responsible for harassing more than 50
tenants, but there were many more). It is a systemic problem related to the economic
situation and the interests of developers and banks over the rights of residents.

Determination and joint struggle of tenants and tenants led to the process of cleaning the
tenement houses. We're fighting!

Gods, princes, kings -- with shots words we laugh -- of the land the slaves and the ragas
-- their monks will be saved ... ---- Despite the governmental fanfare to quit the
memorandum, the structural capitalist crisis that has erupted globally since 2007 has not
yet eroded and we have been experiencing its effects in Greece for the last 8 years. Of
course these results are being borne by the exploited and the oppressed, not the ruling
class and the sovereignty. ---- The attack on the working class was intensified by the law
passed in December 2017 by the SYRIZA / ANEL government, meeting a large percentage of the
demands of BSE and the bourgeoisie. The collective redundancies were legitimized as well
as the lock out of the bosses. Hand-to-hand with government policy goes and the judiciary
from the lowest to the highest. Indicatively, we refer to court rulings on the
co-existence of worker-victims in industrial accidents, dozens (as hundreds) of boss
decisions in cases of abusive dismissals, and last year's decision of Supreme Court, which
effectively abolished the right of unpaid workers to retire. The abolition of Sunday's
holiday continues at a fast pace,

The continued unprecedented attack continues with privatizations in water, energy and
various services of general interest, as well as cuts in social benefits, pensions and
allowances. This is the reality that fills the phenomena of social cannibalism and
individualism.

As we have seen in other times in history, when capitalism fails to overcome its crises,
it employs its final weapon: the war. The sirens of the war are louder and stronger both
in our wider neighborhood (in the eastern Mediterranean) and in the Aegean. The gradual
sharpening of transnational antagonisms can only mean, as always, the working class
slavery of company profits and the geopolitical gains of each imperialist block. Against
this disastrous prospect, we have to make it clear that the only war we will be involved
in will be for social and class liberation. We will not be killed for oil, for the
interests of the arms industries and the states.

We honor the memory of the 1886 assassinated anarchist workers in Chicago and the
insurgent workers of Thessaloniki in 1936 and we stand against the barbarity of state and
capital. We do not forget the comrades who fought and fell into the struggle, but at the
same time we organize our class and social self-defense and counter-attack from the base,
unpretentious and unforgiving. We are fighting for the social revolution that will sweep
the world of injustice, exploitation and oppression and create the new world of communal,
solidarity, dignity, freedom and unimpeded development of free people.

NO PEACE BETWEEN TAXES

Anarchists from the editorial board of "Autonomus" and supporters of free Internet visited
a rally against the blocking of Telegram in Moscow on Sakharov Avenue on April 30. There
were more than ten thousand people, it was nice to see a huge number of ordinary people
with a variety of creativity on relevant topics.
But Telegram alone decided not to be limited. The most popular slogan was "Down with the
Tsar".
Own Corr.

The first of May, in its beginnings, was the fighting of the working class, the
demonstration of its strength, the desires and the determination. Every year, here on
Strelecký Island, we recall the first meeting of the workers in the first of May, which
took place in 1890, and the attendance exceeded all expectations. There were also
anarchist socialists, anarchists. And we are here today to carry on their banner of hope
and defiance. Black in his negation of the current authoritarian order, capitalism that
binds one against another. Red in its fervor for the idea of a better world, which
operates on the principles of solidarity, equality and cooperation. There are fewer orders
than here, but our battalion still winds in the wind.
It would be amazing to join this day to live mass struggles to improve the conditions of
working, unemployed, retired, students and other underprivileged. Unfortunately, no such
movement is here, despite the meritorious activity of various social, environmental and
anti-racist initiatives and collectives. But we would not be anarchists and anarchists if
we were to throw a flinth into rye before this fact and resign to our goals. And so today
we look with interest in the streets of Paris, which reminds of the 50th anniversary of
the famous days when the workers started the strike and the students built in the streets
of the barricade. A similar unification of struggles has taken place in France in recent
months - students, railroads, postmen, and others are coordinating their struggles and
supporting each other. Environmental activists and anarchists, hand in hand with local
farmers on tractors, resist the huge police attack on the autonomous ZAD area near
Notre-Dame-des-Landes at the cost of numerous injuries. Their struggle has received huge
expressions of solidarity in many French cities, but also abroad. As internationalists who
reject artificially created borders between people, we are the spirit in Paris, and some
of us are physically present today. Likewise, we are today a spirit with thousands and
millions of people who have gone out into the streets to enjoy their rights, since they
will never give them no fight. we are the spirit in Paris and some of us are physically
today. Likewise, we are today a spirit with thousands and millions of people who have gone
out into the streets to enjoy their rights, since they will never give them no fight. we
are the spirit in Paris and some of us are physically today. Likewise, we are today a
spirit with thousands and millions of people who have gone out into the streets to enjoy
their rights, because they will never give them a fight.
Yes, we feel part of the whole-planet movement for global justice, to eliminate the
catastrophic raid of the capitalist order that destroys individuals and society and has a
devastating impact on natural ecosystems. Freedom and social justice are universal
principles for us that we apply to all the underprivileged. Applying them only to members
of one race or ethnicity is a great deception, return and deepening of oppression and
injustice. It is as obvious as nationalism infected the Czech parliamentary left. Both the
Social Democrats and the Communists, in their recent ascents, have been de facto
strengthened in these reactionary positions and confirmed that they are no progressive
force that it would be worthwhile to support. And why also choose some representatives,
whether they are in the political spectrum anywhere. According to their policies and so,
But we are standing where our predecessors, the socialists do not depend, in 1890 - we
demand the end of political and economic oppression by one another, we demand equality in
all spheres of life. We refuse to take part in the current order, where short-term profits
take precedence over the urgency of the climate tragedy, weapons trade in front of
people's lives, cheap goods before working conditions, police repression before free-lance
alternatives. We did not choose capitalism. Our choice is a free and self-governing
society without unnatural authority.

Mouad Belghawat, in his thirties, is a renowned rapper of the Moroccan alternative scene.
A libertarian activist, he is known by his artist name, Lhaqued. A figurehead of the
February 20 Movement, which flourished in 2011, together with the Arab Spring, he exiled
himself to Belgium. While in Nimes, Mouad evokes his fight. ---- Libertarian Alternative:
What are the reasons that drove you into exile ? ---- Mouad Belghawat: I had several stays
in prison because of my texts. I arrived in Belgium in 2015. On the occasion of a concert
in Brussels, my brother called me to tell me that the police had come to my home to hand
me a summons to the central police station of Casablanca. The prospect of being arrested,
upon my return, as soon as I arrived at the airport, and to be thrown back into prison,
pushed me to ask for political exile in Belgium. In the February 20 Movement, I was one of
the initiators of the Casablanca protests. I was involved, above all, in the commission "
creation  " to draw banners, make graffiti claims in the streets and especially invent
songs for processions.

Can you talk about your stays in prison ?

I was two years in prison between 2011 and 2014. The first time, four months, the second
more than a year and the third time again four months. During these incarcerations, I was
fortunate enough to be treated fairly well. A campaign was being conducted across the
country to demand my release. At the international level, many artists and militant
rappers talked about me. All the hype around my detention caused the diet to go on eggs.
And especially since in the prison, the other prisoners knew me and supported me. Other
comrades less known than me did not have that chance. In prison, they were tortured.

When you discuss with militant friends who knew the "  years of lead  " under Hassan II,
in the 70s and 80s, how do you judge the evolution of the authoritarian practices of the
regime of Mohamed VI ?

Today, with the use of mobile phones, we can film police violence. The diet is therefore
more careful. Mohamed VI is concerned about his image abroad, who claims to be the "  King
of the Poor  ". The revolt in the Rif shows, however, that the repression still exists.
More than 400 people were arrested and tortured. Among the detainees: children just 13
years old.

Can you tell us a little about the rap scene in Morocco ?

This one was born at the beginning of the 1990s. Very demanding, in the years 2000, the
regime understood that it had to domesticate it. The power has bought many rappers by
offering miraculous contracts and facilities to switch to television or radio, provided to
water the lyrics of their songs. From this betrayal appeared the other rap. The one in the
street who shouts his anger against injustices, criticizes the system. Among the known
singers of this conscious Rap, there is Orlando, Medhi Black Wind, for example. For
concerts, however, it's complicated. I could not, for example, go on stage. The police
systematically banned my concerts. This was the case in 2014. We had booked a large room
in Casablanca. The police had come the day before on the scene, had broken our equipment,
cut the power. My scene was, in fact, the demonstrations. There, in the middle of the
crowd, the police dared not do anything! On the other hand, I went on stage when I was
performing abroad. A few years ago, at a festival in London, defending freedom of
expression, I won an award. It made me known and allowed me to play in Scandinavia,
France, Holland but also in Jordan.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=8&v=dT4yOKnT52I

The interest in the world of protest and alternative music is to build bridges between
different styles. Are there, for example, links in Morocco between this conscious branch
of rap and the punk scene ?

Every year since 2015, the Hardzazat festival in southern Morocco brings together several
hundred people who do not recognize themselves in the system. In this context: graffiti
artists, actors and actresses of street theater, rappers and groups punk, hardcore and ska
mix and play together. The music is different but the rage is the same. The problem is
that this space of freedom is undermined. Last year, the police intervened at the festival
venue to ban it. The organizers had to find, at the last moment, an alternative place to
hold it, at the exit of Ouarzazate. This year again, the mayor of the city has already
announced his willingness to ban it.

The last word, Mouad ?

Moroccan youth lives a terrible situation. There is no possibility for her to express
herself. This lack of freedom but also a life of precariousness and misery, push young
people to flee to Europe. Morocco is like a big prison. At the same time, the youth is
alive. Two months ago, we celebrated the anniversary of the February 20th Movement. And in
all the cities of Morocco, the people and the youth are out in the street. This proves
that the anger remains and that it asks, despite the repression, to explode. The reasons
to revolt still exist.

There are many strange things about the anti-choice bigots trying to protect the
antiquated status quo of the 8th amendment - a piece of text inserted into the
constitution at the moment when the power of that old clerical Ireland was about to
crumble. Strangest of all for those of us who fought against clerical control, against the
Magedeline laundries, against the bans on divorce and sex between men, against corporal
punishment in schools and clerical child abuse and for sex education, contraception and
secular education is now finding the very people who were always on the other side of that
argument trying to redefine themselves as 'the rebellion' ---- The latest aspect of this
is 1weird 916 themed beer mats with anti-choice messaging being distributed in pubs. Apart
from spoiling our pints its a messaging that makes no sense at all. From a republican
perspective we don't want women in Ireland dependent on British healthcare and the whims
of British politicians. We want them to be able to access the healthcare they need,
including abortion, here.

Any genuine republican would be fighting to get rid of the 8th and so allowing not only
women in the 26 counties to access healthcare right here but also giving women from the 6
counties another option than travel to Britain. The reactionary dinosaur parties of 6
counties are all anti-choice, the DUP virulently so - getting rid of the 8th is a blow
against the 'carnival of reaction' that partition created.

True, we have little trust for Irish politicians but we have forced them to call the
referendum and if we are honest they are hardly fighting to win in. Fine Gael are sitting
on their handstand the deputy leader of Fianna Fail is appearing on the platform of
anti-choice No meetings.
For that matter have you seen a single Fine Gael or Fianna Fail Yes poster? Almost all the
Yes posters are from the parties of the radical left or the Together for Yes ones that
were paid for by an online crowd fundraiser that saw over 10,000 people contribute an
average of under 50 euro. Watching those donations pour in was watching another phase of
the real Rebellion, the one against the 8th in practise.

We've forced the establishment currently in government to act but a lot of the
establishment, particularly of rural Ireland, are defending the status quo. And of the
course the bedrock of the establishment post partition, the Catholic bishops are very
vocal about trying to order their flock to vote No, and facing a genuine rebellion of
their own as they try to do so.

Whatever about correctly not trusting Irish politicians do we want to continue to trust
Teresa May to deliver healthcare for pregnant people from Ireland. Thousands continue to
travel every year to the UK for abortions, a situation that is at the whim of the
conservative government, itself slashing away at their NHS. With the water charges and the
calling of the referendum we have shown we can forced Irish politicians to do what we tell
them through mass action, that is not true of Westminster.

There is a rebellion and that is the 30+ year rebellion against the hated 8th amendment.
Those who tell you to vote no out of distrust of our gang of politicians are those who are
in cahoots with the most odious of politicians here, in the UK and in the USA. Do you
trust Nigel Farage, Trump or Jackie Healy-Rae. Or do you trust you own power to continue
to force our politicians to do the right thing.

When we win a massive Yes vote on the 25th May its hardly like that will be a job done.
After that date just as before the referendum was called we will be fighting against those
in power including forcing them to bring in the best possible available. Along with many
other Yes campaigners we've been fighting them for decades and together we will continue
to do so in future.

If you want to see the real rebellion against the 8th as it unfolded over 30 years check
out our photos, video and audio thread

On May 1 in Moscow, we decided to take part in the procession together with various
representatives of the red spectrum in the framework of the solidarity campaign with
political prisoners on the "Strikeball deal" from St. Petersburg and Penza . Participants
in the anarchist bloc chanted "freedom to political prisoners" and listed the names of
arrested comrades. The head banner sent to the fact that torture is used in Russia on the
eve of the World Cup. ---- At the rally of the Reds, we decided not to go, as there was no
one to listen to us there. Instead, we went to the Sakharov Center for the "Muse of the
Unruly": the false cossacks had already been removed from there. There was a bunch of
policemen in uniform and in civilian clothes, but everything went for us without incident.
