The need for civil disobedience was never clearer than in Groningen. Agreements are being

therefore organizes training in strategic peaceful civil disobedience. For everyone who 
also thinks that the time for symbolic protest lies behind us. ---- The training is for 
everyone who wants to take action. And for everyone who participates in the large 
multi-day blockade on the 28th of August at the door of the NAM natural gas condensate 
storage in Delfzijl. ---- You do not just do civil disobedience and every day. That is why 
we organize  training together with  Stroomversnellers to be well prepared. And also to 
give people the opportunity to discover whether they want to participate on 28 August.

The training is suitable for different experience levels. People with little or no 
experience in civil disobedience actions are strongly advised to participate in an action 
training. Participants with more experience are extremely welcome to share their 
experiences, make new contacts and refresh their skills. So if you want to take part in 
the action on August 28, consider taking a training course - not only for yourself, but 
also for your fellow activists! During the training we prepare for staying safe during the 
action, but also to act effectively and efficiently. Special attention will be given to 
explaining safety risks, group formation, the formation and operation of 'affinity groups' 
and practicing specific action tactics.

You must register for the training. This is very important: if there are too few 
registrations, the training can not continue. There is a maximum number of participants, 
if you want to be sure of a place, please register asap! In the week before the training 
takes place you will receive an email with details and preparation tips.

The training starts at 10 am and ends at 6 pm. The costs for participation in the training 
are 5-15 € (depending on how much you can contribute). We pay for lunch, coffee and tea 
and we can pay a fee to Stroomversnellers.
