Two elephants are dead, at least one is emaciated, and they're all chained up. Help stop the animal abuse and neglect at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park.

Dear friends,
Two endangered Borneo pygmy elephants, including a four-year-old calf, have died at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park in the past two months. The rest of the elephants are kept chained by two feet, including one that appears to be severely emaciated. And yet, zoo management and public officials refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem.
The elephants aren't the only animals at the zoo that are suffering. Newly released photographs of the facility show sun bears kept in cages littered with feces, and tigers confined to tiny, moldy enclosures. The python cage is filthy and also way too small.
Unfortunately, Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is used to house rescue animals, so it can't be shut down. But it can expand and improve its facilities so that the animals are given large, clean enclosures with enrichment opportunities. And they can also stop breeding and importing new animals.
Thank you,
P.S. These animals are suffering, and the local government is turning a blind eye. Sign the petition to make sure Lok Kawi Wildlife Park isn't allowed to get away with animal neglect and abuse just because they take in rescue animals.
