On August 1[2018], it completes one year of the violent incursion of a horde of

condemns the violence against the feminist movement in Chile and its activists, now out of 
danger. ---- In Santiago, July 26, 2018 ---- The mobilization day of July 25th showed us 
what is the feminist advocacy capacity for women's rights in Chile. This 6 th march for 
abortion free, legal and free enjoyed unprecedented support: 18 events were held in 
different cities, thousands of people took to the streets. ---- It is in this context that 
a few small groups organized counter-demonstrations and directly attacked three protesters 
with stabs, thus highlighting its helplessness to our advancements. These far-right, 
fascist and fundamentalist groups have emerged in recent years with the consent and

- and broad political sectors.

the identities of assaulted women without their consent, making them an easy target for 
retaliation, re-victimizing them, and contributing to their public exposure.

risk of the city collapsing if it stops selling the tourist. And the "bubble" of tourism

Rethymno has been crafted to become a tourist park and to welcome its only desirable 
inhabitants: tourists. On the pretext of growth, the tourist industry claims every 
hundredth of beaches, public spaces and countryside, contaminating and restricting nature 
and public spaces.

Renting houses for tourism has pushed rents soaring, creating a lack of homes for rent. 
The hunt of profit by homeowners results in cannibalism. At the same time, those who are 
renting are under the constant threat of a possible eviction for more profitable tourist 
exploitation. Residents are treated as consumables, useful only to serve the tourist in 
miserable working conditions while being used as tenants and consumers for the rest of the 
year. The quality of the benefits to the residents is negligible, and the municipal fees 
disproportionately.

Finally, the monoculture of tourism and the downgrading of any other productive activity
