On the first of September, there will be a gathering held for the curious and free minded
people. Where people can come to that fight for justice and love to feed their curiosity
by learning new ways to fight the system. On this day we will share our skills and tell
our stories about our activist projects. It will be held at the Autonomous squatted palace
"Ivicke" in Wassenaar. It is going to be a day with multiple pre-organised workshops and
lectures but also a day to enjoy the forest surrounding "Ivicke". Because we encourage
self-organisation, we will have a space for people to give a workshop/lecture on the spot
without reserving. Food is going to be prepared and the evening will have a cultural
program including bands and DJ's. There is no price at participating, but donations are
well appreciated.

If you're not planning to go home it is possible to camp-out in the garden, bring a tent
or sleep under the huge red beech tree.

About "Ivicke"
Autonomous palace "Ivicke" was squatting on the 5th of July as an action against
speculation by an active group that seeks to create a community where we can learn from
each other and create a space to work with our creative minds. There is no eviction threat
as of yet. It is a monumental building surrounded by a big piece of land next to the
highway N44. The squatters would like to create a space where people can organise
different kinds of events, in order to do this they need support. If you have any free
time and are encouraged by our project please contact us on anarchyandalchemy (at) riseup.net.
This is the press release of squatters of Ivicke (please note Ivicke (at) riseup.net is
NOT a valid mail address).

Participating
If you have anything to show or tell please contact us on anarchyandalchemy (at)
riseup.net. Anarchy&Alchemy is open for a lot of different kinds of skills and lecture

Thirty years have passed since the mass executions of political prisoners in the prisons
of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the summer of 1988, after the end of the Iran-Iraq
war, Khomeini ordered a mass execution of those who insist on their political and
ideological positions in prisons throughout the country. The verdict: " Those who insist
on the position of their hypocrisy in prisons throughout the country are militant and
sentenced to death, and the recognition of the issue in Tehran by the majority of the men
of Hajjalaslam, Nayyid Dumtat Afazat ( Sharia judge ) and Mr. Eshraghi ( prosecutor)
Tehran ) and a representative of the Ministry of Intelligence . Although precaution is in
consensus, as well as in the prisons of the provinces of the country, the majority of the
judges of the judiciary, the Revolutionary Prosecutor or the prosecutor and the
representative of the Ministry of Intelligence are required by the Supreme Court. The womb
is on simple minds, the decisiveness of Islam against the enemies of God is from the
undisputed principles of the Islamic system . I hope that you will receive the
satisfaction of Allah with your anger and revolutionary grudge against the enemies of
Islam . Tempted and unconcerned gentlemen who recognize the subject . "

With this bloodthirsty command, the "death board", in addition to the individuals
mentioned in the ruling, included the deputy prosecutor of Tehran, Ibrahim Raisi and the
Ministry of Intelligence representative, Mustafa Poormohammadi.

Political prisoners were asked three key questions about their religious beliefs, belief
in the Islamic Republic and the attachment to their respective political organizations.
Prisoners who were pushing for their intellectual and political positions were immediately
taken to the gallows or shot at them.

From the beginning of August, for about two months, thousands of political prisoners,
most of whom were previously tried and sentenced to prison terms and condemn their
sentence, were awaiting release from jail, were tried in a few minutes' Informed prisoners
and their families were sentenced to death unfairly. Every day, hundreds of prisoners were
executed in a group and buried in secret unconscious houses in unidentified mass graves in
Tehran at the Khavaran Cemetery and other unknown places, and in other cities in unknown
places.

This genocide, although the culmination of the killing of political opponents during the
forty years of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has begun the liberation, arrest, torture,
imprisonment and execution of its political opponents since its inception, and this
repressive policy continues to this day. Has continued.

How much this persecution can last, while we see that every day, with the broadening of
the queue of the liberators and dissidents, the courage of the people has increased, and
the more executions and the failure to stop the opposition and the killing of people who
are protesting injustice and poverty and hunger, and Unemployment and liberation in the
streets will be bigger, more and more dishonest families who have lost their children and
loved ones in these organized crimes.

We are part of the Iranian people's litigation movement, raising our voice in order to
join other bereaved families and freedom seekers and seekers of truth and justice.

We demand the establishment of an Independent Truth Committee with the supervision of the
executed families to clarify how and why the arrests, torture and executions or the deaths
and the disappearances of the political opponents of the Islamic Republic have been in the
forties over the past 40 years, especially in the 1960s and the summer of 67.

We want to identify all officials involved in the arrest, torture, execution and
suppression of the political opponents of the Islamic Republic and the liberators in the
past forty years, especially in the 60's and the summer of 67, and they have been publicly
prosecuted and punished for the suppression and killing of liberators and dissidents. .

We demand the abolition of the death penalty.

We call for the immediate abolition of unfair terms and the release of all political
prisoners and prisoners of conscience, without any conditions, and for the restoration of
their dignity.

The destruction of the graves of political opponents executed in the 60s, especially in
the summer of 67, in Tehran and various cities, including Ahvaz, Mashhad, Rasht, Tabriz
and Bandar Anzali and ... The eradication of these crimes by government officials and the
torture of the executed families. This process must be stopped immediately, the burial
places of the executed should be respected and the survivors' salaries must be recognized
for the keeping and marking of these graves and for the free celebration of the
commemoration ceremony for those loved ones.

The right to freedom of expression, thought and publication is recognized without any
conditions or conditions.

The right to gather, demonstrate, strike, and hold a public gathering will be recognized.

The right to form independent political, trade and social organizations, without any
conditions, and for all.
We, the returnees and the families of the executed, have been struggling with all sorts of
pressures and censures and grievances all the time, so that we are even forbidden to
attend the grave of our loved ones and to freely hold the ceremony. But none of these
pressures and harassment has prevented us from presenting our graves to our loved ones and
holding ceremonies for them. We continue to insist on our rights and our desires, and we
will not stand to meet these demands.

Part of the litigation movement of the Iranian people

II Anarchist Film Festival - opening show at the Muranów cinema in Warsaw (photo: Emilia
Oksentowicz) ---- At the turn of June and July this year in Warsaw and Lódz the second
edition of the Anarchist Film Festival took place. As part of this year's festival, 14
screenings of films and 6 discussions / lectures took place, in which several hundred
people took part. Just like last year, this edition of the festival was also very popular
among the media as well as those involved in the Warsaw and Lodz social movements. ---- In
comparison to last year, the AFF formula did not change significantly - its core was
documentary films supplemented with the "cinema classic". The documents were grouped into
eight categories: "anarchism", "anti-fascism", "anti-colonialism", "women's resistance",
"ecology" and "class struggle". Most of the space was devoted to feminist and ecological
themes - this way the festival referred to recent, high-profile protests against plans for
a complete ban on abortion and blockages of tree felling in the Bialowieza Forest.

The opening film was the documentary Anarchist from the Case directed by John Archer and
Clara Glynn. The film tells the story of Carne Ross, a British diplomat who discovers
anarchism after the government's lies that justify the aggression against Iraq in 2003 are
revealed. When looking for alternatives, Ross meets with activists and activists of the
Okupuj Wall Street movement, Noam Chomsky, Spanish trade unionists and unionists from the
CNT and visits the Kurdish autonomy in Rožava. Ross's search was the starting point for
discussions with Marta Burza from the Warsaw Association of Tenants and Jakub Rok from the
Good and Camp for the Forest co-operative - the theme of the talks was the relationship of
anarchism with activities on the fields: tenant, employee, cooperative and ecological.

The threads of contemporary attempts to implement anarchist ideals were also included in
the film "Project A" (directed by Marcel Seehuber and Moritz Springer), which introduced
the history of the anarchist Exarchia district in Athens, German anti-nuclear movements
and cooperative projects in Catalonia and Germany. Two more films - the comedy-drama "Love
and Anarchy" directed by Linda Wertmüller and the documentary "Nieposkromione. The history
of Mujeres Libres "referred to the history of anarchism and the struggle against fascism
in the first half of the 20th century. The history of the Spanish women's organization
Mujeres Libres combined anarchism and anti-fascism with another issue, key for this year's
festival - the resistance of women. Feminist fights on AFF are shown in three examples:
apart from the "Nieposkromionymi", they also referred to the document "Strike of women
continues" directed by the activist of the OZZ IP, Magda Malinowska and "Strong as a rock"
by Aliki Saragas from South Africa. "Women's strike continues" presented the history of
the struggle of the Workers' Initiative commissions in Poznan nurseries in the context of
mass women's performances in Poland from 2016-2018. After the screening, at the Warsaw
edition of the festival there was a discussion with the representatives of the OZZ IP from
Poznan on the relationship between workers' struggle and activity for reproductive rights
(access to sex education, contraception, abortion and childcare) and a meeting with
representatives of the National Strike organized in Lodz Women who were devoted to the
issue of unpaid reproductive work performed mainly by women. South African film "Strong
Like a Rock" and a videoconference with a director, which took place after the screening,
brought the audience closer to the history of the Sikhala Sonke organization, founded by
the miners' widows murdered in 2012 by the police during a strike in the platinum mines -
this way feminist threads have been linked to the topic of class struggle, colonial
practices and exploitation of natural resources by international corporations. Sikhala
Sonke is an organization fighting not only for compensation for the families of the
murdered workers, but also aims to improve the living conditions in the slums in which the
families of mine workers belonging to the Lonmin concern live (where the strike began in
2012). by the police during the strike in the platinum mines - in this way, feminist
threads were linked to the subject of class struggle, colonial practices and exploitation
of natural resources by international corporations. Sikhala Sonke is an organization
fighting not only for compensation for the families of the murdered workers, but also aims
to improve the living conditions in the slums in which the families of mine workers

compensation for the families of the murdered workers, but also aims to improve the living
conditions in the slums in which the families of mine workers belonging to the Lonmin
concern live (where the strike began in 2012).

Employee and anti-colonial subject were also combined in the film "Associates? Volskwagen
and the Brazilian dictatorship "(directed by Stefanie Dodt, Thomas Anders) telling the
story of cooperation between the German car company and the fascist junta in Brazil in the
1970s. In the block" anti-colonialism "there was another film -" The first day of October
"about the repression that in October 2017, the Spanish state applied to the Catalan
independence movement. Both the film and the accompanying discussion meeting with the
members of the Assemble Nacional Catalana (an organization working for the independence of
Catalonia) focused on the brutality with which the Spanish security forces reacted to the
desire to become independent of Catalonia. This brutality shows

The ecological themes were presented in two documentary films: "Over all" (the history of
social resistance against the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline transporting oil
between western Canada and Texas) and "Leave it" (record of the blockage of tree felling
in the Bialowieza Forest in Poland). Both films became a pretext for discussion (with the
participation of those involved in the Forest Camp initiative) on the condition of the
modern ecological movement and its tactics and strategies (including those considered
controversial by the methods of direct and physical action blocking activities harmful to
the environment natural).

Among the documentary films on the Second AFF, the Golden Dawn: a personal affair,
directed by Angélique Korounis, shows how the ideology of the Greek neo-Nazi Party Golden
Dawn functions and forms, which since 2012 is so popular that it regularly gains a dozen
or so seats in the parliamentary elections.

"Cinema Classics" on the second edition of AFF was conceived - to some extent - as a
continuation and development of the themes shown during the first edition of the event. In
addition to the aforementioned comedy-drama "Love and Anarchy", this block includes three
films from the British social realism school: two short shorts by Lindsay Anderson, which
- similar to the screenings of Jean Vigo in 2017 - on the one hand show the everyday
routine of people work ("Everyday except holidays"), and on the other criticize the
development of the consumer society ("O, Dreamland"); the last of the films from the
category of "classic cinema" was the most famous work of Tony Richardson, "Loneliness of
the long-distance runner", telling about the young man's rebellion against the oppressive
rules prevailing in the reformatory and the formation process of his class consciousness.

Similarly to last year, the festival was accompanied by stands of friendly publishing
houses (Bractwo Trojka and Ksiazki i Prasa), while catering during the Lódz edition was
provided by the editorial collective of the Palestyna24.pl portal.

Due to the great interest, the next edition of the Anarchist Film Festival will definitely
take place in 2019.

The following is an account of the  Anarchist Black Cross  (ABC) in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, about the recent and massively successful Running Down the Walls event ----
On August 5, 2018, about 90 people ran, played  joggers , or walked 5km to celebrate the
40th anniversary of MOVE 9 (or 9 MOVE) arrest. The route chosen for this event began at
Fairmount Park and passed in front of the city's zoo where in 1973 and 74 MOVE members
protested in defense of animal rights. The route continued along 33rd Street to the
intersection with Pear Street, where it was the former headquarters of MOVE before being
demolished by the City Hall after the arrest of MOVE 9. ---- Halfway through the trip,
photos of MOVE 9, flowers and candles, as well as a message board were available for
supporters to pay tribute to. Passers who knew members of MOVE 9 also stopped to pay homage.

While the Running Down the Walls national event   was organized in June of this year, the
Philadelphia event was organized in August to coincide with MOVE's 40th anniversary. Many
of the participants ran with signs showing the names of beneficiaries of the Warchest ¹
program   or other political prisoners in the United States. The event had approximately
90 participants.

Yoga began promptly at 9:30 am "to warm our breathing, mind and bodies," as instructed by
yoga instructor Sheena Sood. The group then set out in three sections: walkers followed by
joggers  and finally runners. This allowed for a lot of interaction along the way, as
people often met. The route was shaded to brighten the day's heat, and refreshments were
provided by  Solidarity Food Not Bombs .

Together, we raise nearly $ 2,000, which will be split between the legal defense of MOVE 9
and   ABCF's Warchest . To close, we squeeze for a group photo singing " Release MOVE 9,
Release All Political Prisoners! "
