Free Ramboline the lonely elephant! Sign Now Dear friends, When she was just two years old, little Ramboline the elephant was torn away from her mother and forced into servitude. Why? Because the world wanted to see elephants perform. Now, she has spent 30 long years entertaining crowds at the Cirkus Trapez in Denmark. Malene started a Care2 petition demanding the circus free Ramboline and send her to a sanctuary. Will you sign her petition? Ramboline was born in Africa, in Zimbabwe, approximately 36 years ago. But she has spent the last 30 years in lonely exile, without access to other elephants with whom she could socialize or find comfort. She is completely alone. In Denmark, it is normally illegal to keep elephants isolated like Ramboline is, but the Food Administration granted the circus an exemption.
