The trial of the murderers of our comrade Clement, therefore opened on Tuesday, September
4 at the Assises de Paris. One of the defendants arrived a few hours late, thus prolonging
the session during the day. The day before a first gathering in tribute to Clement had
already taken place Saint-Michel. Until the closure of the trial on September 14,
initiatives will take place throughout the hexagon to honor the memory of Clement and
recall the daily violence of extreme rights. ---- The defendants yesterday played the card
of the mistake of youth, the forgotten past ... Vichy tattoos erased, new look for a new
life and repeated memory holes for Esteban Morillo, who published Mein Kampf on his
Facebook page, just to be seen by his fascist friends, but supposedly without reading it...
Serge Ayoub alias "Batskin", leader of the group Third Pathway transmitted on Tuesday a
medical certificate indicating that he could not be present at his convocation as a
witness on September 6, by sending a letter to the court which was read at the hearing .
He evokes the "risks of disturbances to public order" related to this trial, fearing the
violence of anti-fascist activists ... "It is out of the question that the drama is
repeated ... and that once assaulted, I am obliged to defend myself, "he writes, thus
suggesting that the facists would have simply defended themselves on the day of Clément's
death.
The next appointments:
Friday, September 7: public meeting in the Belleville Green Theater at 7 pm
Tuesday, September 11: appointment at 18:30, gathering on the bridge of the Carrousel
(where Brahim Bouarram was killed). Happening as a tribute to the victims of the extreme
right.
Friday, September 14 (day of the verdict): demonstration 18:30 in Republic. Until
Ménilmontant through the avenue of the Republic, Parmentier and Oberkampf.
A plaque to display in all cities:
September 7 in Montreuil (place François-Mitterrand, at 17:30)
September 8 in Nantes (Place de la Bourse, 15h)
September 12 in Orleans (Place Charles-de-Gaulle, 17:30) )
September 14 in Rennes
But those who know this sinister neo-Nazi know what his word is worth. The video excerpt
below says a lot about this:
The involvement of Serge Ayoub in the murder of Clément Méric (assembly of the Committee
for Clement on the YouTube channel Alternative Libertaire)
On the evening of this first day of trial, several hundred people gathered on rue
Caumartin, renamed rue Clément Méric on the occasion:
The trial, which will last until 14 September, may be an opportunity to shed light on the
murder of our comrade, the violence of the extreme right and his lies. However, we remain
wary of bourgeois justice, it is not ours. Let us not leave it, alone, to tell the story
of the murder of Clement, But it is not bourgeois justice that will push back in the heads
and in the street extreme right and their thugs. Only our struggles, class solidarity and
popular education will do it. There is not a minute to lose.

Saturday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m. >> Reina Sofía Museum Square, Madrid ---- Climate
change is a product of industrial society born two centuries ago in Europe and violently
imposed on the rest of the world. It was two centuries of continuous poisoning through all
kinds of harmfulness that brought devastating consequences: deforestation,
desertification, droughts, floods, famines, violent storms, extinction of millions of
species ... In this situation there are many who seek a solution. ---- - Statist and
leftist solutions: reforms that only lead to an intensification of misery beyond what we
can imagine. The solutions of the leftists not only do not criticize the industrial
society but place it in a privileged place in every process of change. Any solution to
climate change has to emerge from its technologies, when we saw that it was the
development of industrial or complex technologies that caused climate change, is the
escape beyond the logic of the ideology of progress. Creating the illusion that there are
technological shortcuts without taking into account the root causes of climate change:
mainly the emission of greenhouse gases. One of these technological "solutions" is the
manipulation of the climate through geoengineering, which poses great risks to ecosystems,
since it is based on an excessive consumption of land, waters and other natural elements
that some are striving to call resources. Those who see the solution in technology do not
stop going blind: transgenics would end the hunger of the world ... green energy with
contamination ... all this so that the techno-scientific system continues to work but
increasing the misery of those who have to survive in it . They promote statists and
leftists to regulate harmfulness, try to hide that regulating them is accepting their
existence, promoting treaties that regulate the emission of greenhouse gases. It is a
distraction maneuver. Reducing emissions means increasing the amount of gas but in a
slower way. The climate changes depending on the amount of carbon or methane, not annual
emissions, into the atmosphere; therefore reducing emissions continues to cause climate
change.
- Green capitalism, social control and acceptance of living conditions: The climate crisis
will not destroy capitalism, we will not face a collapse but a restructuring of living
conditions. Industrial capitalism is adapting the end of the existence of fossil fuels and
following their logic of efficiency and effectiveness has become green and ecological
promoting and developing alternative energy sources so that the world can continue working
exactly as it is now, the so-called green energy perpetuate existence of capitalism, and
more, there are no green and / or clean energies in industrial society. Green energy
continues to cause devastation from solar energy, whose silicon solar panels (whose
extraction poisons areas near the mine with devastating consequences in the lives of those
who populate nearby areas) to wind energy with the same materials happens exactly the same
. Nothing is green in the industrial society, the production of cars (or any other
industrial artifact) ecological creates hundreds of nuisances from the extraction of
materials that form, the energy required for its operation, through the manufacturing
process of the same, not to mention of the social relations that all this generates. The
green world of green energy will lead us to the same nightmare that produced the "green
revolution" of the last century.
Faced with the devastation that is causing climate change, Capitalism is developing
measures of social control, since millions will flee from places where climate change will
become uninhabitable. Europe is already protecting itself with numerous measures: from
militarized borders, strict measures of internal security, biometric surveillance, DNA
tests and a long, etc. All this is for the control and repression of those who have no
place in the European fortress and those of its inhabitants who rebel against the imposed
living conditions. It is then necessary to attack the root of the problem: the industrial
organization of the world, the techno-scientific society and its world without delegating
anything or anyone. Only then can we end a catastrophe that is already under way.

Climate" to demand a world free of fossil fuels, where people and social justice are above
profits. The protest is organized by several NGOs.

This article is a brief analysing of the future of Rojava in Syria in Line with the attack
of Assad's forces on Idlib's Province . The battle of Idlib can be a crucial one for all
sides who are involve especially for the regime and the Kurdish in Rojava . There are few
scenarios that the Kurdish forces there and its self rule administration are facing .
There is also a strong possibility after this battle the Kurdish question there can be on
the top of Assad and Russia's agenda to be resolved either way. -- Zaher Baher ---- "We
are at the final stage of solving the crisis in Syria and liberating whole territory from
terrorism", stated Walid al-Moualem, Syria's foreign minister when he met Sergei Lavrov,
his Russian counterpart, in Moscow. ---- The Assad Regime and its allies are preparing
themselves for the upcoming battle for Idlib. The military launch might start this month,
September, or the beginning of October. The war will likely bring victory to Assad and
catastrophe to the 2 million citizens of Idlib where 1.6 million are already in need of
humanitarian aid.
Idlib, near Aleppo, Hama and Homs, is a stronghold of over 60,000 anti-regime rebels and
over 10,000 jihadists. To justify attacking Idlib, Assad often claims the province is full
of terrorists.
Although the battle of Idlib looks rather small with any parties like the US, Russia,
Turkey and Assad and their other allies' involvement directly or indirectly, it will, no
doubt, be a big battle. Each of these parties has their own stake in Idlib and the region.
Assad is trying to control the whole country by defeating opposition rebels and terrorist
groups. He also wants an open hand over the Kurdish in Rojava either to suppress or
negotiate with them on his own terms and conditions. Turkey, which has supported
anti-Assad forces and terrorist groups throughout the war for many reasons, has its own
interests too. The US and Russia have been the major powers in the region and are arch
enemies. Their intervention and involvement in Syria only serves their own interests
economically, politically and financially and protects the power of their friends in the
region.
As for Rojava's situation, its future within the Idlib battle scenario is quite
complicated. In my opinion, Rojava's position has been weak since Jul 2015 when Erdogan
launched a brutal attack on the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) forcing them to become
involved in war. On the other hand, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) has been aligned with
the US in the war against Islamic State (IS), and has committed many deadly mistakes
mentioned in my previous article.
The battle of Idlib will happen sooner or later. It will be decisive and crucial for the
major powers and their allies in the region and also for Rojava. At the moment, US opposes
the attack because it would lead to a "humanitarian catastrophe ". The White House warned
on Tuesday 04/09 that the US and its allies would respond "swiftly and appropriately" if
Assad used chemical weapons. The question here is why the US and its allies were not
concerned about a "humanitarian catastrophe" when Turkey invaded Afrin and massacred
hundreds of innocent people? In Idlib, the US is probably concerned with defeating the
terrorist groups rather than innocent people because they want the game to last longer to
achieve completely what they planned in the first place.
Rojava and its self-rule administration and the SDF cannot be ignored during the attack on
Idlib and after the battle as well. It cannot be left as it is. The Rojava question and
its future must be resolved either way. Rojava is facing many possible scenarios. If Assad
prevails in this battle, as commonly predicted, the position of the Kurdish in Rojava will
be weaker. Assad will be in a very strong position, securing his hold on power for a
while. In this situation, he can impose his terms and conditions on the PYD and SDF while
they are in a weak position. There is also the possibility of the SDF joining Assad's
forces for the battle of Idlib while the PYD is negotiating with the regime. As we can
see, the PYD and SDF are in a very complicated situation. The SDF may join Assad's forces
against the rebels; an action which is opposed to US interests. In this circumstances the
PYD and SDF might be abandoned by the US which, in the near future, may encourage a
Turkish attack on Rojava or, at least, Turkey may try to occupy the towns on its border
currently under control of the SDF.
If Assad fails to defeat the rebels in Idlib, it won't be in the interest of Rojava
either, because Assad's defeat will also be a Turkish victory who will then be in a better
position to attack Rojava as happened to Afrin.
However, whatever the outcome of Idlib's battle, it will be critical for Rojava as its
future is tied to the battles between the forces mentioned above. The situation may become
so complicated in Rojava that it will become difficult for the Kurdish to maintain their
principal aim of Democratic Confederalism.
What keeps Rojava alive is the continuing war with Isis and other terrorist groups and,
also, the economic embargo imposed by regional powers. Saying this does not mean that
Rojava's movement will collapse. In my opinion, the Kurdish have proved themselves and
resolved many questions positively so they cannot be ignored or marginalized by any sides
of the major powers and Assad's regime I believe that, in the end, there might be some
compromise between the US and Russia over Syria and its regime. The power struggle between
them and their allies to reach their own aims forces Assad, or a future government in
Syria, to offer cultural autonomy and some cultural rights. These rights would be far
short of building Democratic Confederalism.

In the United States, criminal policies and prisons continue to sing the slavery air.
Legally and morally justified, with its sources of supply, its modern slavers, its
defenders and detractors, modern American slavery is a circular, private trade that begins
with relegation and culminates with prison as a place of production. ---- The Whole Foods
chain of stores is a big consumer of forced labor (" penal labor "), still legal in the
United States. ---- The social forms and representations of a culture generally
crystallize from its founding moments. A paradigm is a vision of the world that determines
the decisions, tastes and criteria of a society and forms a fold in the cultural fabric
that is imprinted even in mentalities, in the unconscious. Slavery in the United States is
such a paradigm: economically and historically based on the ultimate exploitation of the
labor force, socially organized on a Whites-Blacks division, psychologically rooted in
community fear and mistrust, the United States remain this place of the world where
slavery is actualized, although in disguised forms.
The American Civil War and the 13 th Amendment
A fatal and structuring ploy, perhaps sociologically insurmountable despite past struggles
and recent police horrors, the United States maintains productive slavery - in new forms -
because it still goes through political, police and political logics. economic.
One could believe oneself on the eve of the American Civil War. We are in 2018. Four
million slaves were " liberated " at the end of the American Civil War in 1865. However,
the same psycho-sociological schemata remain, and no model replaces the
puritanism-capitalism couple, or the perception of a " difference in nature " of African
Americans. How to solve the contradiction of a state founded on principles of freedom and
equality with a reality of lynchings and misery, fundamentally divided socially ?
Blacks must remain slaves to allow the system to maintain itself. Now the 13 th Amendment
to the Constitution provides that slavery and involuntary servitude can not exist ...
except for criminals. Paradigm again: it is not a question of depriving of liberty only,
but of making produce, of making work - the capitalist imprint gives " the black man " in
his place of slave who does not belong to himself [1]. That's it. It suffices to
criminalize African Americans under the thinnest pretexts (vagrancy, lurching ...) to
populate the prisons and " state farms " with an inexhaustible workforce [2]. This is done
by the usual legislative and police means, but also by a throbbing and daily propaganda,
distilling the image of black people handcuffed, arrested: guilty. Today, the US prison
population is the largest on the planet: 2.3 million, or one in four prisoners in the world.
Repression and private actors
As early as 1975, Nixon and then Reagan declared the " war on drugs ", targeting
anti-system activists on the one hand, the black population on the other. The equation "
Black = drug = criminal " is symmetrical to the addition " judiciarization + repression +
privatization ": the two balance perfectly. Foucault's " watch-punish " couple becomes "
shut up and produce " in the United States .
In the 1980s and 1990s, large private prison management groups came into play. Corrections
Corporation of America, for example, a member of the powerful American Legislative
Exchange Council (Alec), provides a slave labor force to companies (Walmart, Boeing, AT &
T) whose supply is guaranteed by the states to keep the prisons well filled. The lobbies
prepare the laws for the legislator and have them supported by the politicians. Private
interference in legal production goes as far as designing bail, so as to prevent the poor
from getting out of probation and defending themselves.
The pressure on the people who feed this modern slavery is constant. And the pressure does
not stop at the end of prison, all their civil rights are not returned to former
prisoners, who remain administratively and socially stigmatized.es - voting rights,
parental, access to education ...
The cost is moral and psychological: it results in a structurally fractured, mistrusting
society, where apartheid is inscribed in mental patterns and continuously updated.
Massively deprived family units of male partners marked as criminals, with reduced
incomes, having access only to schools, hospitals and second-rate jobs, and where mental
disorders are 20 % more more frequent than for the rest of the country, especially in
relation to violence - urban, police, marital. Statistically, one in three African
American people will go to jail in her life.
Predictably, the American society wants to make the whole social field an opportunity for
profit, The next steps ? Perhaps home incarceration with geolocation, so as not to cut off
prisoners from consumer channels. But in this case, how can the mass production potential
of millions of incarcerated workers be preserved, this other name of the slave ?
Cuervo (AL Marseille)
THE THREE STRATES OF HERITAGE
The Civil War (1861-1865) contrasts the model of agricultural South, slavery and
neo-aristocracy, to that of the North, industrial, urban, bourgeois, where it is the
immigrant proletariat of Europe that is exploited. In the aftermath of the war the
question arises: " What to do freed slaves ? "
At first, the Blacks remain " hidden ", relegated by contempt and vexations, by a founding
Puritan mythology (the black man rapist of white women) keeping them away from any trade
with the world. rest of society, and of course by terror (exerted notably by the Ku Klux
Klan).
Secondly, the end of the XIX th century in the 1940-1950 years, population pressure and
the attraction of the northern states are overflowing African-American population of the
destitute rural South. It is the great exodus to the north, from agriculture to factories,
from fields to big cities. The exodus concerns four million former slaves, and is like a
flight ; African-Americans, at the time, are truly internal refugees.
In a third time, from 1873 to 1964, the establishment of segregation by the laws Jim Crow
founded in law a society divided into two parts juxtaposed " by nature ".

In Seine-Maritime, health workers understood that nothing would be gained without
extraordinary, even dangerous, actions. Always in unity, and perfectly self-organized.
---- The entire hospital sector suffers neoliberal breakage, but if it is a discipline
that suffers particularly, because of its specific field of activity and the originality
of its organization, it is psychiatry. Conditions are deteriorating terribly. For lack of
space, it is not uncommon to put mattresses on the floor, or to take in minors in adult
services... ---- On March 22, anger broke out in the Rouvray hospital (76), the third
psychiatric structure in France: it calls for 52 additional positions and the opening of a
reception for adolescence. But after two months of strike, the management did not give an
inch. Exasperation wins: eight employees start a hunger strike and camp in the lobby.
Bluffing ? Not at all. After eighteen days, four are hospitalized, others take over. The
media are relaying, support is growing, especially among railway workers and dockers in
struggle.
On the nerves, the prefect requires the director of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) to
sit at the negotiating table. Result: the ARS sells 30 positions and the creation of 2 new
units, including one for adolescence. In the current context, it is a historic victory.
Contagious Victory
In a perfect democratic unity, the fight was animated at the same time on the inter-union
CGT-SUD-CFDT-CFTC, by a committee of strike counting unionized and non-unionized, and by a
collective of employee They are named Black Blouses. Decisions were always debated and
decided by the General Assembly, which controlled the delegates at each stage of the
negotiations.
Is this the task of oil ? Still, on June 16, it is the psychiatric center Pierre-Janet, Le
Havre, which in turn goes on an unlimited strike, with an inter-union CGT-SUD-CFDT.
Claims: 50 additional nursing stations and the opening of a new unit. Interpele.es, the
elected officials of the Region make vague promises - to visit the strikers, " firmly ask
" the ARS to unlock resources ...
And, again, the action is out of the ordinary. After ten days, 7 employees camp on the
roof of psychiatric emergencies day and night, in the heat, with the support of
colleagues. Social networks and the local press echo Janet's perch . MP Ruffin is moving.
All this forces the public authorities to negotiate and, on July 10, after twenty-six days
of strike and sixteen days on the roof, the management concedes an agreement to the
inter-union, validated the same day by the general meeting of staff. The strong
mobilization, the union unity, the youth of the movement and its inventiveness made it
possible to snatch the creation of 34.3 full-time equivalent positions.
These struggles will be a milestone both in their duration and their modes of action and
their victorious conclusions. Let's not hide it: we were afraid for colleagues who put
their health at risk, especially since we felt that the camp opposite was not ready to
give up. But now, everyone knows that other victories are possible if you put the price.
In health, only a general movement of the entire sector can stop the killing of the public
service. In this year of professional elections in the hospital public service, the unions
must federate the struggles in the sector ... but nothing will be done without the
self-organization of the workers !

International syndicalism: this is a mysterious object for most union members ! Unsung
acronyms, distant structures, linguistic Meccano with misidentified action beyond
traditional internationalist slogans ... How are the different trade union movements
organized at the world level ? What are they doing concretely ? This month, a complete
panorama to better understand, before tackling next month, the question: " What to do in
there ? " ---- Christian (AL Paris-Southeast suburbs) ---- International Trade Union
Confederation ---- REFORMIST MASTODONTE ---- Founded in 2006, the ITUC is the organization
with the largest number of union members to date: 331 organizations in 163 countries, with
207 million members. But this covers very different realities depending on the country ;
in France, for example, the CGT, the CFDT, FO and the CFTC are members of the CSI.
The ITUC provides support to member organizations facing repression and denial of trade
union freedoms. It supports " generalist " campaigns on themes that revolutionaries can
share - climate justice, the elimination of slavery ... - but it does not organize direct
actions such as strikes, demonstrations, etc., considering that it is the responsibility
of national member structures on the one hand, and international sectoral federations on
the other. The latter are not members as such of the ITUC, but they work with, notably
through the Global Unions grouping (Global-unions.org).
The ITUC is both the locus of an agreed and highly bureaucratic unionism, and a means of
meeting with unions from all over the world, some with radical orientations and practices.
For the 4 th World Congress of the ITUC, to be held in December 2018 in Copenhagen, the
French CGT supports the candidacy to the general secretariat of the current head of the
CGIL (Italy), Susanna Camusso, whose election would be presented as a " turning left " ...
The libertarian communists of AL / FDCA (Italy) and many other trade unionists of this
country could explain with forceful examples how the eventual turning point would be
moderate, with this worthy bureaucrat, also conciliatory with the bosses that untractable
with its internal oppositions.
www.ituc-csi.org
European Trade Union Confederation
INNOVATED IN THE TECHNOCRACY
The ETUC is not organically linked to the ITUC, which has its own regional sector for
Europe. Its creation in 1973, its existence and functioning are in fact closely linked to
the European Union. His policy is to accompany the capitalist system, to regulate it,
without questioning its existence. Claim action is not at all a priority. " Little by
little, there is a drift of the ETUC towards a trade union practice that is more of
lobbying and representation than concrete and action, " regretted Philippe Martinez before
the Confederal Executive Committee of the CGT, the 3 July. The report is correct ... but
contrary to his words, there is nothing new !
The ETUC has some organizations in which libertarian communists intervene, such as the CGT
in France or the CGIL in Italy. Our current, and more generally the revolutionary
syndicalists, do not weigh in the national orientations of these union confederations, but
are influential in some unions or inter-professional structures that compose them.
ETUC affiliates 85 organizations from 36 countries, and 10 European professional
federations are formed. Some are both the sectoral federation of the ETUC and the European
structure of a professional international. For example, ETF is the transport federation of
the ETUC, but also the European structure of ITF, an international federation of transport
that is much older, and combative, than the ETUC.

Platform of the unions of stateless nations
ANTICOLONIALISM AND CLASS STRUGGLE
This network brings together class unions, independent of the parties, fighting against
capitalist globalization, and associating social liberation and national liberation. So
much reason to be interested, for libertarian communists, and to seek to promote the
dialogue between these organizations and the unions in which we are invested.
A dozen affiliates - all from regions dependent on European states - participated in its
last international meeting in 2015 in Italy. There was the LAB of the Basque Country, but
also majority unions in their geographical area such as the STC in Corsica, the UTG in
Guyana, the UGTG in Guadeloupe, the USTKE in Kanaky, or others like the Intersindical CSC
(Catalonia) and the CUT (Galicia) also members of the WFTU, and a few more weakly
established unions.
The network of social forums, the Global Labor Institute
HERITAGE OF ALTERMONDIALISM
If the European Social Forum (ESF) process has broken down since Istanbul in 2010, that of
the World Social Forums (WSF) continues. These large gatherings are of real interest to
the unions only if they are part of a long-term international work, regular, both
professional and professional.
In Europe, the main trade union forces invested in the social forums are Solidaires
(France), FSU (France), CSC (Belgium), ESK (Basque Country), IAC (Catalonia),
Confederacion Intersindical (Spanish State). Other organizations participate, such as the
CGT (France), the FGTB (Belgium) and several unions in Eastern Europe in search of
international contacts. At the European level, networks such as Altersummit or Blockupy
bring together substantially the same organizations.
At the intersection of international union structures and networks, we can locate the
Global Labor Institute (GLI), whose link with popular education is another feature. The
GLI project is also based on the search for greater efficiency for international sectoral
federations. Solidaires and the CGT were stakeholders in the 2017 French meeting.

International union network of solidarity and struggles
AT THE CROSSROADS OF THE COMBATIVITIES
The RSISL exists as such since March 2013. Its creation is the result of a joint work
between the Union Syndicale Solidaires (France, " alternative " trade union ), the
Centrale Syndicale and popular Conlutas (Brazil, very related to currents Trotskyists,
including " Morenoites ") and the CGT (Spanish state, anarcho-syndicalist), 3 e union
strength in the Iberian Peninsula.
The Network is open to confederations and inter-professional unions as well as
professional federations, local unions or trade unions, as well as trade union trends.
This makes it possible to take into account combative currents existing within trade union
centers which are almost unique in certain countries.
Participation in the Network is based on a call whose anticapitalist, ecologist, feminist,
self-management, anti-racist, anticolonialist, etc. content is very clear. It is signed by
some 60 organizations including CUB and SI-Cobas (Italy), Batay Ouvriye (Haiti), UNT
(Salvador), RMT (transport, Great Britain), CGSP-FGTB (rail, Belgium), CGATA (Algeria),
Sinaltrainal-CUT (agribusiness, Colombia), CUPW-STTP (Post, Canada), CGT (Burkina Faso),
FGPTT-UGTT (Post, Tunisia), PPSWU (Post, Palestine), KPRI (Indonesia ) ... In France, in
addition to Solidaires, CNT-SO and CNT-F, trends like Émancipation and CSR are members.
RSISL membership is not exclusive. Thus, one finds within it organizations also members of
the CSI, the WFTU, the Red and Black Coordination, or without any other affiliation.
The Network works on three axes:
solidarity to support struggles or against repression ;
the strengthening of sectoral networks to anchor internationalism in everyday trade
unionism (rail network without borders, call centers, health, Amazon, automobile, etc.) ;
reflection on subjects deemed to be priorities: self-management, worker control ; women's
rights ; migrations ; repression against social movements ; colonialism.

Red and black union coordination
THE ANARCHO-SYNDICALIST REFERENCE
This coordination brings together organizations claiming anarcho-syndicalism: CGT and
Solidaridad Obrera (Spanish State), SAC (Sweden), USI (Italy), CNT-F (France) and IP
(Poland). All - apart from SAC - are also members of the International Union Network of
Solidarity and Struggle. There is also the ESE (Greece) or the BIROC-IWW (Great Britain)
which, de facto, hold more affinity group than the trade union organization. The Spanish
CGT carries most of this coordination.
The Red and Black Trade Union Coordination sometimes publishes common material in several
languages, but the weak implementation of most of its member organizations in companies
limits its capacity to lead real international campaigns or to weigh in the European
social movement.

World Federation of Trade Unions
CURIOUS COUPLING SYNDICALO-ETTATIST
Founded in 1945, the WFTU was once the trade union international in Moscow. Already
weakened by the crises of the communist bloc (exclusion of the Yugoslavian trade unions in
1950, Chinese in 1966, departure of the Italian CGIL in 1975), it is greatly diminished in
the 1990s by the breakup of the Soviet bloc. It then suffered the defection of the state
unions which, in the East, formed the backbone, and pro-communist unions of the West
which, like the CGT, then reposition themselves.
Today, the WFTU has three types of organizations.
First type, the most solid: the official unions of dictatorial states (Iran, Syria,
Vietnam, Cuba, North Korea ...) who have a union that the name, and are in fact class
supervisory bodies worker in the service of power.
Second type: organizations marked by nostalgia for the USSR, such as the PAME trend
(Greece), BTC (Brazil) and, in France, the CGT federation of agribusiness.
Third type: organizations that join the WFTU mainly by rejection of the International
Trade Union Confederation (and ETUC for Europe), such as Cosatu (South Africa), LAB
(Basque Country), some federations of the CGTP (Portugal), USB (Italy) or RMT (Great
Britain). In France, the CGT federations of Chemistry and Commerce, the UD 13 and 94 for
example, are part of the structures that have joined the WFTU for this reason or have
launched the process to do so.
The situation of the WFTU is therefore paradoxical since, within its ranks, authentic
class struggle unions are associated with class collaboration organizations supporting
exploitation regimes that deny trade union freedoms.
At the next confederal congress of the French CGT, in March 2019, the rattle of the "
return to the WFTU " could be agitated by the Stalinist oppositional currents, in the
absence of a real alternative orientation to the Martinez leadership.

International Workers Association
AUTODESTRUCTIVE SPIRAL
The AIT was founded in 1922 by robust revolutionary syndicalist organizations (and
subsequently, anarcho-syndicalists) refusing Soviet tutelage. Among them: the CNT (Spanish
State), the FAUD (Germany), the USI (Italy), the SAC (Sweden), the Fora (Argentina) ...
Most were broken by fascism in the 1930s and have survived in exile.
After the war, the AIT played a role in the reconstruction of anarcho-syndicalism in the
world but, in the 1990s, it experienced a dogmatic and sectarian drift, linking schisms
and excommunications. So much so that it exists today only around small anarchist groups
in Norway, France, Italy, Poland, Russia, Portugal and Great Britain. The only
organization worthy of the name is FAU-IAA, active in social movements in Germany, albeit
on a modest scale. Even the historic CNT (Spanish State) has been excluded from the AIT
for any doctrinal deviation, and is now considering rebuilding a new AIT.

October 3, 2016 in Poznan, some of the participants in the so-called After the end of the
main demonstration, the black protest headed for the PiS office to express its opposition
to the government's plans to tighten the anti-abortion law. On the spot, the demonstrators
found the policemen in whose direction someone from the crowd threw a few smoke candles.
In response, the officers began to press on the gathered and beat them blindly with
batons. They also used pepper spray, which affected dozens of random people. As a result
of the intervention of the officers, three people were detained, subsequently accused of
violating the bodily integrity of the policeman. Another 3 people were accused of
participating in an illegal gathering - it happened when they reported that the police had
exceeded their rights. However, the case of the police officers was discontinued.
For several months, a trial of six people has been taking place in the court in Poznan.
All are associated with the anarchist community. Only policemen have been interviewed so
far. In all, almost sixty (!) Officers are to be testified against by the court. In most
cases, their testimony did not bring anything to the matter - many were unable to
reproduce the course of the event, others claimed to be involved in too many interventions
to know if they were there at all. In the meantime, the search for defense witnesses who
took part in the protest at the PiS office continued. At the last hearing, August 20, the
judge refused, however, to accept the list of these witnesses - she demanded to describe
exactly where each of them was during the protest and clash with the police, what he was
doing, who he was, etc. Although writing a short explanation for the evidence and the
witnesses being called is a rule (which the attorney's lawyer has fulfilled by sending a
list of witnesses to the judge), the expectation of such detailed information is not a
customary court proceeding. The judge justifies his decision by the fact that he does not
want to allow a deliberate prolongation of the trial and decency. From our perspective,
this is a curious situation in which defendants are assumed to be ill-willed and defense
is impeded.
We informed you about the very specific approach of judges Agnieszka Cabrery-Kasprzak to
the list of witnesses submitted by us after the last hearing. Out of curiosity, we checked
whether in the past she had had contact with the anarchist community. It soon turned out
that the judge had long ago discontinued a loud case about the use of a private paralyzer
on duty by a police officer during a lecture on gender in Poznan. We dug up to the article
in which excerpts of the justification for such a decision and its criticism are quoted.
We are troubled by the hurtful, unjustified, very vague and stereotypical approach of the
Judges to those identified with the anarchist community. We hope that this time the
similar situation will not happen again.
"The court dismissed the case. We have reached the justification. Judge Agnieszka
Cabrera-Kasprzak states that the crime took place, and by taking a private stun gun to the
lecture, the policeman "acted with a prior intention" and "knew that he was acting in
violation of the law." However, she discontinued the matter because of ... negligible
social harm. This statement of guilt, but formally the policeman will remain unpunished
and will not lose his job.
The judge claims that the policeman had the right to feel threatened because he was in
civilian clothes, without a vest or helmet. He also expected the lecture to be interrupted
by anarchists because the police warned the organizers about it. "He certainly knew the
typical behaviors of this type of professional experience," says Judge Cabrera-Kasprzak.
And he adds: "He had to know from office that such people often carry dangerous tools and
have taken attacks on persons who
are public officials in the past ."
The judge does not explain what his opinion about anarchists is based on. In recent years,
anarchists have often been tried, but in most cases they were acquitted. One of them was
convicted only for fencing the policeman's uniform leg.
[...]
- I am not convinced by this argument - says Dr. Piotr Kladoczny, a lawyer from the
Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. And he asks: - Why does the court assume that every
anarchist is aggressive and what does it matter if the policeman consciously takes a
private taser and then exceeds the
powers? "

On September 1, 2018, Social Action activists conducted a series of solitary pickets in
the framework of the Week of Solidarity with Anarch-Prisoners 201 8 . The action took
place on the main street of Nizhny Novgorod. In the "Day of Knowledge" we decided to make
our contribution to the enlightenment of the people and remind him of the situations in
which life activists who are disliked by the regime are loyal to their ideas and views.
Through our posters, we wanted to convey to people the problem of political repression on
the part of the powerful, through which every year more and more different opinions are
discouraged from the course of the state. ---- The activists recalled the "Network" case,
in which there are more than 10 people involved, about the fate of Yevgeny Karakashev,
Alexander Kolchenko and other social activists against whom the cases of extremism were
fabricated. We also wanted to recall that friends of the working class suffer reprisals in
any state - so in Brazil, social activist Igor Mendez and 22 others are imprisoned in
prison for speaking out against the government's arbitrariness.
It is impossible to close eyes to the ongoing lawlessness around, it is necessary to
struggle with it as much as possible, overcoming all kinds of information barriers.
Knowledge is power, but only when it is reinforced by actions. "
